McDonald’s

I can deal with mediocre food. It’s McDonald’s afterall. It’s only a guilty pleasure for me about once a month, if that often. So when I do go I go for the same thing every time. A Big Mac, fries and coke. Each time I’ve gotten cold or old fries, sloppy Big Macs and a drink station that looked like someone dumped soda all over it on purpose. On a positive note, this McDonald’s is the main reason I avoid fast food. Thank you for indirectly helping me support a healthier lifestyle. I feel like this review is as honest as it can get because it’s three expereinces in a row now since January/​February.

This is the best McDonald’s in a 10 mile radius. I will drive way out of my way to avoid going to the locations closer to my house because this one is so much better.
The food has always been fresh for me here. Sometimes it takes a minute or two but never very long. The service is always very friendly and fast. The workers are very competent here, good job!

Food is hot, staff is friendly. Play area is loud but that is what a play area should be. I sit outside of it :).

i go here because it’s 3 mins from my house but always check your food before you leave the parking lot!!! they always forget something! 85% of the time, they leave something out or swap what you ordered for something else. so be careful!

Cold food. Everything was cold, the fries, the burgers. Their manager must be asleep in the back. Horrible.

i usually go to McDonalds when there are good coupons to be used, which was the case this summer when I had some coupon books for free sodas, $ 1 Egg McMuffins, BOGO sandwiches, free frappes, etc. This place always takes the coupons, but everything else here sucks– the soda dispenser doesn’t have water, the drive through is a zoo, and the store layout creates some serious safety hazards.
When I went there today there was this twerpy staff-​member manning the register who was openly complaining about a customer to his manager, before and during my turn in line. When my girlfriend asked for iced coffee with skim or 1% milk he explained it was already «pre-​made.» She then asked if it was plain black coffee, and he said it was, which pretty much means it wasn’t pre-​made, but that they just didn’t have skim milk. She decided to add sugar-​free hazlenut flavoring, and to just add one cream afterward. What can I say– she likes to cut calories when she can.
The best part was when she asked for Splenda or Equal and was met by commentary from the twerpy cashier for her rationale: «you know, it already has sweetener in it.» This might sound like he was just offering a helpful suggestion, but it was accompanied by huffs, scowls, and a strangely judgmental tone.
If you have the coupons, by all means, come on by– I didn’t expect world class service and gourmet faire at McDonalds. Its the rudeness that really stood out this time around.

Ugh, crappy McDonalds. I’ll go out of my way to drive to a different one. The people there are idiots, don’t know how to cook orders, and barely speak English. Our burgers were way too sloppy and greasy (even for McDonalds «kangaroo») and the fries were cold.
Do yourself a favor… find someplace else!
