I have been going to impressions hair studio for years and using sue cyrus. She has always done a wonderful job and is such a pleasure to chat with. I wouldn’t imagine going anyway else. She is always open to try something different if I want it and will always give me her opinion on what will look good.

The stylists at Impressions Hair Studio are outstanding in their field. I have gotten more compliments when getting my hair colored than ever before, even from strangers. Compliments like«stunning, ««beautiful,» «gorgeous color.» And… I have had several stylists do my hair with the same results for years. Thanks, Serra, Megan, and Kathy! I wouldn’t go anywhere but Impressions for my haircuts, color, great conversation and service!!!

WOWWHEREDO I START: PLEASEIFYOULOVEYOURHAIRLISTENDONOTCOMEHEREUNDERANYCIRCUMSTANCES, even if they pay you to come So i just moved to town and decided to try and get my hair done. Looked at this place and thought it was nice so i booked an appointment(Worst decision i have ever made!!!). So my hair was gown out with brown on top and black on the ends. I asked for a nice brown chocolate hair color with a few high lights(balayage) i was there at 3pm. So time went by and she rises my hair and i see a look of panic she ran and got the owner who came in and tried to help. Short story they had no idea what was going on. Finally i had enough and was getting late(7pm) and my hair was freakin BLUE!!!) they kept saying they understand and know what to do to fix it and i shouldn’t worry. So i came the next day at 10am stupidly to trust them and try and fix the color. basically she claimed she was going to «color correct it. So she washes it and put a bunch a stuff on it and was there till 2pm! as soon as she blow dried my hair i Literally started crying. I had never seen anything too ugly in my life(please see pictures)!! it Literally looked like a 2 year old with a blind fold decided to paint my hair! i was too upset i told them this wasn’t going to work and i walked out in tears. I immediately called bombshell and they got me in… Thankk god!!! Literally i have no idea how this crappy ass salon is open… it is a dump filled with«cosmetologists» that probably cheated on the test to pass. I don’t get how you can live with yourself messing up and ruining someones hair like that and not even apologizing! PLeAse if they give you a million dollars don’t go! my hair was so damaged that i had to cut it 4 inches! Those people do not deserve to have a license!

Part 2: I finally received a phone call from the manager. She stated that I could come back in and she or the owner would correct my hair. I politely declined. Please refer to the pictures being posted of me(without my permission) by the salon. This is the type of behavior you will be dealing with at this salon. Very unprofessional behavior. I’m not denying the fact that I thought my hair looked fine when I left the salon. And it does look good in the pictures being posted. It’s a bit difficult to get a picture sometimes of a bad dye job. At any rate, I’m glad the salon decided to post pictures of me. This is great for people to see exactly the way you will be treated as a customer at this salon. — — — — — — — — — — — — - Part 1: My first time visiting this salon was Saturday. I asked to have a touch-up and wanted to remain on the lighter side for summer. I was told it could be achieved and felt comfortable that this was going to be a happy experience. Before I had time to notice, as my hair was being dried(after my touch-up), I was immediately told that my hair would have to be redone and/or corrected right away. I was alarmed at the fact that my roots were a noticeable pinkish color. However, was understanding that mistakes happen and went along with everything as directed. After the«correction» or second time my hair was done, I noticed my roots to be substantially darker than the rest of my hair. After being there for 5 hours on a Saturday, I was tired and ready to be done with it. I honestly didn’t really look at my hair that well and trusted the judgement of the people around me. In addition, my hair was blown out and curled which always seems to make imperfections less noticeable. Furthermore, there was more than one person looking at my hair and I felt obligated to agree that it was fine. It wasn’t until after I got home that realization set in and I started feeling self conscious about the discoloration of my hair. I decided to sleep on it and wash and style my hair the way I normally do for work the next morning. In doing so, I started to become really unpleased with my hair. The pinkish areas were/are still very noticeable against the rest of my hair. It seems as if more dye was placed over this pinkish color in order to mask it. So, it looks different from different angles and in different light. In addition, my roots were darkened in order to cover the errors. Once I got to work, it seemed very noticeable as the lighting at my office is unforgivable. I again, decided to give it another day. On Tuesday, I contacted the stylist. I apologized for the inconvenience and stated I was unhappy with the results of both the initial and«corrective» colors done on my hair. I was told I could come back in and have things redone for a 3rd time. And that darker roots add depth to my hair and I should in some way be happy with that. It was made clear to me that if more dye, above the amount used for a touch-up, would be needed, I would have to pay the difference. So, my hair was erroneously colored, an attempt was made to correct it, yet if I was going to need any more dye on my hair to match their mistake I would be charged the difference? Brilliant way to make more money I suppose. After thinking on it, I decided it would be fair to ask for a refund and try to get my hair corrected elsewhere. I also didn’t feel we were seeing eye-to-eye on things and thought it would be beneficial to both myself and the salon if we parted ways. I didn’t feel comfortable having my hair done a 3rd time for something that should have been no problem initially. I kindly requested a refund and stated that I did not feel comfortable having my hair done a 3rd time. That request was quickly denied. Unbeknown to me, the manager saw me from a distance in the salon on Saturday. Since my correction was done to her liking, she was not going to provide a refund. I called to speak to her and/or the owner and had absolutely no luck with that. I could elaborate on the numerous red flags here, but anyone with common business morals can easily draw their own conclusion. I would not recommend this place to anyone specifically for the lack of customer service and poor business management.

I came in a half hour early and they took me a half hour late. They were very nice but the girl that did my hair wasn’t very good. It was the worst blow out I have ever had. They told me over the phone it was $ 30 but when I went to pay she charged me $ 40. When I asked why, she explained it was because she had to flat iron my hair. I have NEVER asked before to flat iron my hair because the blow out at other places is always great… I HAD to ask for it to be flat ironed but wasn’t informed it was extra. I could have just fixed it myself at home. I had old lady hair until she did that and it still was bad. I didn’t argue but explained that was a lot for a blow out(that sucked). So much product and still… a dry, not shiny, expensive blow out. I tipped her and the hair washer so total: $ 53 for a blow out. I pay $ 65 at Hugo for a cut and blow out and thats an awesome salon. I wish I had just driven the 40 min instead. ugh. This place has been there 20 yrs so maybe the other stylists are good. The one other review is glowing so maybe its just the girl I had.
