After having lived in Columbia for 3 years, a family friend (who is also a realtor, but not in MD) helped me find Ellie after contacting many realtors in my area. Ellie helped me buy a home in Jessup, MD (just right outside the Columbia town limits (no HOA!)). She had an extensive knowledge of Howard County and we looked at homes in Columbia, Elkridge, Jessup, and even one out in Clarksville.
She was able to narrow down exactly what I was looking for, and was extremely responsive to booking showings at multiple locations within the week of my request as my schedule allowed. I was really picky, especially on basements (where usually MRIS has no photos) and she showed no signs of frustration over the multi-​month process. She also had a real eye for sensing possible issues and/​or relative value of a house as we looked at it.
Her and her team were also really good when it came to putting in offers, doing the paperwork, and being there for the home inspection/​closing. Also, being a first time homebuyer, she was really good at answering questions that I had along the way in regards to the administrative stuff.

Ellie helped me purchase my first home. In fact, she insisted on me seeing the house that I actually bought. While, I did see this house on the Internet, I didn’t think that it was quite right for me. But Ellie had shown me several house int he past and knew what I was looking for and knew what was most important to me and my family, so I had to trust her. Upon her persistent determination for me to see this house, I caved in a saw the house. Not even a month later I am the proud owner of that house that I didn’t think was right for me, but in the end, Ellie knew was the perfect fit.

My wife and I had an awesome experience with Ellie and team. We were looking for our first home in the Baltimore area, with very little local knowledge. Ellie took time to understand our desires, and highlighted several neighborhoods accordingly. She really knows a lot about the area — good neighborhoods, good schools, things to do, etc.
When it came time to start visiting properties, Ellie was eager to find good matches based on our criteria. She setup auto-​searches, as it seems most realtors do – but she really went above and beyond by personally scanning homes for us in the background. Ellie genuinely enjoys what she does, she’s good at it, and we always felt that she had our interests in mind.
During negotiations and procedural items, Ellie stepped us through, happy to answer any questions (being our first time, there were lots!). Ellie successfully negotiated a great deal for us, and we couldn’t be happier.
Ellie is the total realtor package: knowledgeable, proactive, responsive, passionate, a tough negotiator. Throughout the whole process, we felt that we had a close friend helping us find a home.
