This place was effing horrible. I get seated and some girl brought my water. That’s all that happened for 15 minutes. I had to ask someone that walked by who my waiter or waitress was because I didn’t see them in that whole 15 minutes. I had to ask another waiter to take my order. Along with my order he asked me if I wanted a drink I said yes and still I had no effing drink. I then told another random waitress that I didn’t know who my waiter was and I was waiting on a drink and they still didn’t bring me one. So I got up and left. Horrible service do not go here !

We have never been here before so instead of the truck stop for breakfast we decided to try this place. Really not much of a difference. Food was good. Nothing fancy and the price was comparable. Would try it again.

We have been stopping here for years as we travel routinely between the Yakima Valley and Seattle. We always used to think that the beef was exceptional and frequently ordered Prime Dip, or Prime Rib and enjoyed our meals. Something has changed. The last two or three times we have been seated in the bar area and not in the dining area at the other end of the restaurant. We ordered the prime rib special yesterday. It was terrible. The meat I got was an overcooked, thin slice of tasteless beef. When I complained about how dry and bad it was the waitress asked, «didn’t the au jus help?» I couldn’t believe she asked we that. She was polite and gave us 10% off for the poor meal. My husband thought his salad was fine. Mine wasn’t very good. The wall paper was peeling off the walls in the bathroom which didn’t look very clean and the flower box that used to be planted with flowers was filled with weeds. We will miss stopping here as it is an easy on/off the freeway and we used to get really good food. Does anyone know what happened? New owners? Would love to know what caused this downturn in quality.

Great Diner food served by smiling and happy servers. Stopped by on the way to Seattle to grab a quick bite and was not disappointed.

Wow. The service was bad. We did not meet our server until she brought what they said was food. The table was dirty. The silverware, for those of us who got any, was dirty. The person who took our order was just plain mad about having to do it and got it wrong anyway. The food was awful… and I mean awful. From runny, warm blue cheese dressing to some of the worst tasting slop anyone has ever set down in front of me. Needless to say, won’t be back to this one. Yikes!

I had turkey open face sandwich with tortilla soup and my friend had same with beef and Italian wedding soup. Soup, Ital wedding 3/5, pasta was mush. Chic tort soup was I don’t know what!!! Couldn’t eat; tasted like red enchilada gravy. Open face sandwiches were smothered with SALTY gravy possibly straight from can once warmed. Reconstituted mashed potatoes had too much salted flavoring mix. I would go to Mickey D’s before Ranch House in a flash.

The restraunts was under staffed. There was at least a 20 minute wait to get seated. It took a long time to see our waitress. Only one person was served their complete meal out of 4. A table, which was seated before us, was waited on received their food and left before we even got our food. The pancake was overdone, the cornd beef hash wasn’t crisped at all, and the toast was wrong. I had to ask for the bacon for my child’s pancake which was also suppose to come with an egg. I never received my toast and I had to pay full price when I asked for no eggs. The good thing was the gravy was good and the coffee was very good.

We stopped here Saturday night on our way back from Kennewick. The first sign that it was a bad decision was that at 7:15 on a Saturday night the place was essentially empty, with only 2 – 3 tables occupied. I ordered the chicken Parmesian and my wife had the salmon, with dinner salads. The lettuce in both salads was brown and the baked potatoes were served luke warm at best; heck, the creamed butter or whatever it was couldn’t even melt. Mywife said her salmon was less than fresh and barely finished it. To add insult to injury, their prices are a bit on the high side for the quality of food you get. I would say to save your money and hit Burger King, Mickey Ds or Carls Jr.- you’ll get better food for a heck of a lot cheaper.

Stopped in for lunch on August 4th. The restaurant was not busy and we were seated quickly by the hostess. We waited for about 25 minutes without having our order taken. We walked out when I saw the waitress sit down in a booth with diners who had already eaten and paid for their lunch. Worst waitress ever! I’m not sure I’ll be back after that experience. They are always slow, but this was ridiculous!

After 4 days at Watershed, we just wanted to sit and have a «real» meal in an air conditioned clean place! No great expectations, just needed real food! I’m happy to say we got what we wanted in those respects. Still need to rate the whole experience honestly and take it all into consideration, not just the real meal! We were seated immediately by a very tired and«stressed» out hostess. She even did the heavy sigh a few times walking us to our table just around the corner! She was all of 18 years old — maybe she had been at Watershed too! Our server was very nice and friendly but refills were definitely lacking. Now, all we wanted was a real meal and I must say, they definitely scored in that area! The chicken fried steak was tender and perfect, not a frozen deep fried patty, and the gravy was some of the best I’ve had. They use those really thick cut hashbrowns and they were cooked nice and tender with a great crisp on the outside. The biscuit was fresh and hot, not microwaved, and they give you plenty of butter! The pancake was tasteless though, definitely needed some flavor. Bacon was crispy and full of flavor and eggs cooked just right. All in all, the food was fantastic. Normally, this would merit an average 3 star rating because the food was good enough to cancel out the lack of service. But my oh my, the bathroom was worse than any gas station bathroom I’ve ever been in! Absolutely filthy! There was even trash in the hall area going to the bathrooms! If we weren’t getting back on the road for 2 more hours I never would have used it… YIKES!

We had breakfast here on Sunday morning on our way out of town. We had the pancakes and breakfast bowl. Well the food was not homemade, everything was hot tasty and came out of the kitchen quickly. The servers use a handheld tablet POS device which really speeds things up. The issue with this restaurant is basic sanitation. The carpets were literally black in the high-traffic areas, salt and pepper shakers were sticky. Everything looked like it had needed cleaned.

Preface: We have ate breakfast here at least a couple times a year. The food and service are always just OK, however, it has continued to go downhill and prices have continued to rise. The quality of the food is very low, much of the food is simply pre-made. Eggs are either powdered or ordered in bulk beaten, other breakfast foods are extremely bland which is disheartening. The«three egg omelette» is now only the size of a box of cards which is ridiculous for $ 10+. Sadly, we will never be returning again.

Stopped in for a bloody mary and some food after a long weekend camping. The drinks were great and the food was exactly what I needed. The customer service is A+++! I left my entire wallet at the table during the early morning. After getting back to Seattle, I realized what I had done. I left my phone number with Wes(I think that’s his name) in case they found it. He called me within an hour even though I can’t imagine how slammed they were. He mailed me my wallet they next day. Thank you! :)

I’ve been stopping in at the Ranch, usually for breakfast, for many years. It was always good diner food. Properly prepared eggs, hashbrowns from fresh potatoes, homemade biscuits. We stopped on our way to Pasco, 1÷10÷15, and something has changed. New sign, new menu, different food. I don’t know if there was a change of ownership or exactly what happened. Service and food were well below par. We’ll find another diner.

I agree with some other reviews that the food isn’t the ultimate but the staff is so nice and accommodating you can’t help But to like this place.

A largely«meh» experience. The food is bland, uninspired, and does not make me want to come back unless out of necessity.

A full bladder coerced me into stopping at the first place off the freeway exit. This place is pretty much cookie cutter Sysco/USFood shop. The menu reads like one you will find anywhere else in the country. The side salad was 99% iceburg. The turkey on the hot turkey sandwich was very salty, almost inedible. The gravy was the stuff made from a powder mix. If you are well over 65 and want safe food this place will work for you. Service was adequate but it seemed the servers were motivated to tell each other jokes than wait on customers.

I’ll start by saying that I didn’t look around for other places to eat… The Bar 14 is conveniently located across the parking lot of my hotel. There wasn’t much of a crowd and I was seated right away. The menu, the order, and then the food served, happened in about as much time as it will take me to write this review. I had the 10 oz prime rib with loaded baked potato and side salad($ 1.50). I have never had prime rib(or any steak for that matter) served as fast as this was. All in all it was pretty darn good! And the baker came with a heaping helping of butter, sour cream and bacon all whipped together… mmm mmm good!
