We stopped in here today for breakfast. We wanted something local and found this! Unilocal says not open on Sunday, but when we drove by they were open! We seated ourselves and were greeted by a nice waitress who seemed to be the only person working. We were the only ones there and got our drinks and food quickly. We ordered a Caramel Cappuccino and a house blend coffee with an espresso shot. We both ordered the omelette that came with 3 toppings and a side of toast. We also wanted to split a cinnamon roll. The omelettes were huge and full of fresh toppings. The toast was thick and crispy. And the cinnamon roll was delicious, sticky, and warm. For a small local café, this place was delicious.

Bright and fresh! Henry G’s is a modern coffee shop with a concise lunch and hot breakfast menu. Selections include classic sandwiches like a Rueben and Chicken Salad. Salads, Soups, and burgers round out the menu. They are known locally for their quiche. On my visit the daily special was a white pizza on flat bread. Our service was quick but I’m told it is slower when they are busy. Duh. Want breakfast and coffee or a light lunch hit Henry G’s with confidence.

Henry G’s in a modern coffee shop/café, the food was excellent, but the service a little slow, but they did apologize for being short handed. The owner was on site, and offered some history on the building, and town, it was nice to be reminded that this was the old Grant building, and Murphy’s Five and Dime, was across the street where Dollar General is now. We were hoping for breakfast, but that ends at Noon. We did get a «Ramp Burger» which my daughter enjoyed… Chicken Salad Sandwich which I enjoyed, and a Grilled Chicken Sandwich which my husband enjoyed, the Potato Salad was excellent, the coleslaw was tasty and my daughter enjoyed the Pasta Salad… it is a nice café…
