Came here for my birthday and absolutely loved it. Very friendly staff and great tasting food. Will keep coming here!

The décor is nice but that’s where the pros end. The sushi is mediocre, you can buy the same thing from a supermarket deli and get more to eat. Prices are far too high for what they serve. Staff was barely attentive, I saw our waitress 3 times all night when there were only a few other customers. She then gave us a sour face at her tip, which should have been even less for the poor service. This is the first time I’ve ever been so disgruntled about a restaurant that I felt the need to make an account solely to leave a bad review.

We were their first customers on opening day and thought what a cute addition to the growing businesses in the new Elkhart plaza! Finally Elkhart natives like myself can enjoy neighboring venues. Hubby and I love coming here for a quick lunch at the grill area but end up staying for hours. The set up is very tranquil. Soft lighting display on their tables and colorful lamps overhangs. Love the bamboo window display and huge wall art. It is very clean. Staff is hospitable. Pricing is great and food is delicious. The cooks need a little more practice but overall great service. Hard core sushi lovers need to give this charming place a chance.

Sushi does not taste fresh. I keep coming back because it is a convenient location. I do not recommend eating here if you like sushi. Today the tuna was warm and had a strong fishy taste. Very disappointing.

I am surprised by the great reviews of the sushi here. We LOVE sushi and eat it about once a week. We were traveling thru Elkhart and stopped here. The atmosphere is strange — it reminds me of a 90s club. The sushi was mediocre. We had 2 of their speciality rolls and a piece of sake. The service was good — prompt and friendly.

One of my favorite places to go with friends and family. Good variety, pretty big portions and reasonable prices. Loved the teri yaki salmon platter. Would recommend.

Fabulous sushi rolls. Teppanyaki is stellar as well. Great big city atmosphere. Make sure and taste several rolls. three rolls will easily feed 2 people as a meal.

Had the steak lunch today plus the tempura cheesecake. It was great. LOADS of flavor and big portions. The inside of the restaurant was very nice and modern. I would definitely recommend to others and will be returning often!

Wonderful. Came here on my lunch and had their sushi three roll special. Philly, Unagi Avo, and Spicy Tuna rolls. Was pleasantly surprised with the salad and miso it came with, but wow. The sushi. What can I say? Beautifully presented tasty fare made right in front of me. Just stunning. The entire place is very tastefully decorated. I am shocked they don’t have the lunch crowd here elbow to elbow! For just under thirteen bucks this place wins my money for best quality, quantity and ambiance in the area for a quick bite! Yum. Just Yuuuuum.

Well done sushi. Well done teppan yaki. Rushed feeling and crowded seating. Modern though.

We went to try out the sushi, the place was packed as it had just opened the same week; which we weren’t aware of until we got in. We sat at the sushi bar because all the tables were full at the time. The sushi was excellent; some of the better sushi I’ve had. The price was reasonable as far as sushi goes. Me and another friend in our group were curious about the eel sushi the chef was preparing; and he made us a piece of eel sushi for everyone in the group for free! I had never had eel before and I have to say it was pretty tasty, not what I was expecting at all. Overall, great sushi place, haven’t tried the hibachi but I“m sure that’s good as well. :)

This place is kind of small, and I understand that they were shooting for more of a small, family atmosphere — but overall it’s small. The hibachi was nothing out of the ordinary, it seems like the chefs are still working on their skills — the hibachi skills and people skills. But then again, they did just open. The sushi rolls are nothing different from any other place around the Elkhart area, but with that being said, the prices don’t quite match up with the quality. The majority of the items on the menu were marked up higher than what other Mishawaka restaurants would list them at.

Excellent meal and great atmosphere. Little small dining area but you can make a reservation. We had steak and shrimp, a chicken and scallops, and Chicken and shrimp. Sushi is awesome as well. We will be back soon! Yummy.

An excellent addition to Elkhart, wonderful lunch place, though still have some opening links to work out. Had the sushi lunch special with the spicy tuna roll, yellowtail roll and eel cucumber roll with a side of tako, super delicious and only $ 15! Can’t wait to come again!

I went the first week they were open, so the staff was still learning the flow. It seemed a little ragged(ran out of hot water for tea) but it seemed they were trying hard. Had the bento lunch, which was overall very good. The salad came first, and was fresh, nice amount of ginger dressing, but seemed a tad redundant since there was seaweed salad in the bento box itself. The sashimi was good, as were the nigiri and tempura shrimp roll that it came with. Food was overall very good. The restaurant has very small seating area, only has 9 tables, so would expect that it might get to be long waits. It has 4 teppanyaki grills with 8 seats around each. From what little I saw of one show, it looks like the typical teppanyaki show. Cons – pricey, but not out of line for a sushi/teppanyaki place, similar to Soho in Granger. Parking was bad. It’s in small strip mall building, and next door to a Jimmy Johns with a drive through. The lunch time rush was bad, with a lineup at the drive through blocking parking spots, and I ended up parking next door at the bank and walking around the snow piles to the restaurant.

Best sushi in Elkhart! I’ll wait to review service until they’ve hired a few more people and have been open for a couple months.
