For the Elk River area, this liquor store boasts a surprisingly large inventory of things I like to drink — namely, beer that is not Bud Light (sorry Mom!).
I was able to score some tasty Boulevard Nutcracker for the long holiday weekend. I’ve bought wine, scotch, and whiskey here, and all at reasonable prices. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they usually have something tasty and unique on their sample table.
There is a liquor store on the other side of town that has limited selection, and the prices are all WAY above average. If you’re north of the cities, make a stop by Westbound Liquor — you won’t be disappointed.
