I absolutely love Trojan storage. I know it might be crazy loving a storage facility, but I love it. Since my first contact over the phone with them, they have been nothing but professional and courteous. Even when I am just stopping by my unit, they always smile and wave and ask how you’re doing. The customer service is on point.
On top of that, this is the most affordable and competitively priced facilities in the Elk Grove area. I don’t know what they have going on now, but when I signed up they had a special going for $ 160 a month for a year. It goes up after that to be a little more comparable with other facilities, but for an entire year at least you can have the best price around and even after the year the price is about the same as everywhere else. If you are looking for something more short term you really have to come here, but even of you’re looking do something long term, you won’t be losing money and the service is worth it.
The units are really clean, the grounds are very well maintained and clean, and the staff is just really great. I would highly recommend Trojan Storage. I was just at my unit today and it made me want to leave a review because it just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I went to three other storage places near this area earlier and was treated with a «take it or leave it» attitude. This place went above & beyond for me.
Cindy of Trojan Storage answered all of my questions and made the entire process simple & smooth. All my moving needs were kindly accommodated. All of their carts & dolly’s are up-​to-​date (all wheels working). My storage unit was very clean as well. I would definitely recommend this place for its excellent customer service, moving equipment, simple move-​in & move-​out process, and its security (Camera’s, & 24 hr Onsite management).

I very rarely give reviews on places, but I thought I should share this information. I stored my house hold items and furniture here for a month and a half while I was in the process of moving to the area. When I went to the storage unit to move out, there dozens of black widow spiders and 3 dead mice. The mice had gotten into my dresser and there were droppings in my clothes. The black widow spiders had made a home and laid eggs under my dresser, end tables, and pantry, plus there were several babies that hatched and were all over the place.
The movers I hired said they’d never seen anything this bad before. When I mentioned this to the man working there he just had a dumb smile on his face and didn’t really say anything about it. I think he was new. The woman working there seemed worried about it, but didn’t offer any kind of compensation.
Luckily the movers helped me remove all of the black widow eggs and spiders from my things and I’m hoping we got all of them out before I move my furniture into my house!
