Round Table Pizza

I called my order in and instead of listening to what I want to order today, the gal wants to focus on my previous order. I told her I wasn’t ordering the same yet she asks me twice. When I go to pickup (after waiting in line 15 minutes) they give me my order and it’s wrong! The gal told me that the computer reads the same as what I received. I then told her that she didn’t enter in what I ordered and that she was the one who took my order over the phone. She didn’t apologize — just looked at me like she didn’t care. Super rude! If she is going to take orders over the phone, she should learn to listen. I had a car full of kids listening to my order so I’m confident I said «no bell peppers or onions.»

Wow… took an hour and forty-​five minutes to get my pizza delivered and the bread twists were so burnt my dog would even eat it. I used to order from this location quite often but the last 6 months have been horrible. Looks like I’ll he sticking with «pizza bell».

We order take out from the Elk Grove Round Table semi-​often. Their pizza tastes good but, other than that, this location is seriously lacking. Delivery-​wise, it doesn’t get too much worse than this.
The occasion we ordered delivery before tonight, there was over an hour wait. We were actually fine with this. It’s a long wait, but I understand that delivery can get busy on a Friday night. The wait turned out to be 1 hour plus an additional 45 minutes. Very frustrating, but I let it slide.
Tonight, we once again ordered delivery. We placed the order at 6:30 PM, with a 1hr and 20min wait. Again, long wait, but I understand that they can be busy on a weeknight. When it had been 10 minutes past the delivery time, I called to check the status. I was greeted by a rapid fire introduction that I could barely understand. I eventually was informed by the obviously overworked young man that the driver had left 15 minutes ago and should be arriving soon. Fine. We waited another 20 minutes and called again. Again, the same rapid fire, stressed introduction. Then, just as on the call, we were told that the driver had left 15 minutes prior. At this point, it didn’t really matter as it was obviously just the same response he was giving everyone.
We eventually received out pizza another 15 minutes later at about 2hr and 30min after ordering. Just be cautious if you choose to order from this location. The pizza is good, but you are going to have to wait an unusually long amount of time on a regular basis.
And Round Table, in addition to the wait time, you need to work on your employee’s phone skills.

So disappointed in their service. I placed a phone order and went to pick up. Waited patiently in the long line to pay, and then find out they didn’t process my order. I will never order from them again.

Let me start off by saying I love round table and generally the service and pizza is better than most. We have a big family and order around $ 80 – 90 worth of pizzas, wings, and best of all their breadsticks! However this location has fallen short on us a couple times. Recently we had a large order which included an order of 18 (12+6) breadsticks. When we received the pizzas, although they were halfway decent, the breadsticks were awful. They were burnt, no cheese whatsoever, stale and I threw some to my dog and she wouldn’t even eat them. I called the location regarding the order and they weren’t a bit surprised. In fact they knew my order before having to specify. Forwarded to the manager Joe, his idea of compensation is a new batch of breadsticks and ONE two liter soda. Spending nearly 100 dollars at this place for 8 people, they sent a soda to make up for it… Since we were hungry we accepted and the next order showed up a little while later. The bottom half were slightly undercooked but has Some cheese (remember I get these all the time, typically from the Elk Grove florin location, I know what they are supposed to be like)… The top half were a little stale and no cheese again but overall still «better» than the last batch. We gave up on trying to eat them all together and tossed them out. Last time we order from this location, we’ll pick up from somewhere else instead.

If you want a relaxing atmosphere and good pizza. this place is it. I pass 3 other pizza joints on the way here. Kid friendly and the service has always been excellent. The salad bar is simple but still worth it.

I don’t know how this location has such a low help review. I go to this location whenever I’m craving some good pizza and they never disappoint. My food is always prepared swiftly and tastes delicious, and employees are friendly and helpful. Speaking strictly from multiple dine-​in perspectives, this place is great.

Worst service ever! I called for delivery, in the middle of my order she placed me on hold, then hung up on me. So I called back, then placed me on hold again and hung up again. So this happened 4 times. Finally I got to place an order and the lady told me our cost, and said 35 min. Then 40 min later called me ask, for my address then said the order will be another 45 min. We canceled our order and will prob not order from here again. To bad. We love our pizza.

Poor customer service I got hung up on 3 times very got my order. Then they called 30 minutes later to ask our address again and Sao it would be another hour. Round table sucks

Called to have a pizza delivered they stated that the wait for delivery was over an hour so I said I would come pick the order up myself. I arrived to pick up my pizza and the place only has a few customers and a handful of pizzas going in the oven. The place looks a wreck and not very kept. Then walks in an employee from a delivery I’m assuming. He starts nearly yelling that he is back, he’s acting like no one is here but him and his coworkers. Then as they all are trying to get all the pizzas organized he attempts to take over the phones. He makes disrespectful comments about the customers on calling in the orders with a voice loud enough for the restaurant to hear clearly what he is saying. Then a customer must have been difficult because he started kneeing the lower cabinets as he is on the phone with them to the point it actually startled me. I decided that I needed to pull out my phone and video this employees actions. As soon as they caught on to what I was doing one employee tries to calm him down and let him know what is happening and this just makes him even more abnoxious and loud so she tells him to leave. When he walks out he drops the «F» bomb towards myself. This Round Table needs a top to bottom sterilization from it’s employees to the restaurant itself!

Literally EVERYTIME I order from this location my order is incorrect. One time I dined in and they ran out of straws, ice, and ranch and it was only lunch time! All I ever get is «we’re sorry»… No compensation at all.

I have visited this location twice now and I have never been disappointed. My first order was a large pepperoni pizza for delivery on a busy Saturday night and it arrived to my front door literally less than 30 minutes after I ordered it. Kudos! And my second order was for a personal size pizza and it was also ready rather quickly and it tasted delicious. The staff was friendly and the pizza was fast and always accurate. I will continue to order pizza here in the future.

Worst customer service! The employees were rude, immature kids. Horrible experience. Will never come here again!!! OMG — and to top things off they got my order wrong! The pizzas I got looked disgusting and messy! Don’t waste your time and money at this Round Table!!!

Typically I love Round Table. I have no idea what or why the franchise doesn’t step in here and assist these folks to bring the place up to the norm. The whole place needs a face lift, including a few attitudes.
We bought 4 salad bars with our pizza and given our plates. The serving bar was nearly empty, no lettuce, most dressing empty, at least 7 empty containers, food everywhere. It hadn’t been attended obviously for quite some time. I approached the cashier and advised him of its condition. He replied they had been very busy and the people that attend to it were out on delivery. I asked why then, did he not shut it down and not sell anymore salad bars? He begrudging sent a delivery boy to bring a few things over. 2 of our party returned our plates. The pizza was rubbery and not the quality it should be. All in all, they need to step it up here.

Wow! Worst Round Table Pizza I’ve ever had! We ordered a large ½ cheese and ½ King Arthur Supreme (no olives)…picked up our order rather than waiting for delivery, when I got home and opened the box… Olives! The receipt even said «no olives» I don’t understand how these idiots messed up our order because we’re in their system and we ALWAYS order «no olives».
We called to complain and were offered a new pizza, but it was after 9pm and the kids were famished so we declined. Unfortunately this was the worst Round Table pizza that I have ever eaten in the past 20+ years that I have been a customer. my experience tonight was so bad that I sent corporate a complaint on

Ordered a pizza here tonight and it was sub par at best. The pizza was flavorless and the crust was super difficult to chew. Got some boneless wings with it and they were gummy and gross. Definitely will not be going back. And a word to the wise, the parking lot is super badly lit at night. Glad I had my boyfriend with me when we were in the area.

A blast from the past: both the décor and the food.
During the 35 minutes that I waited for my order, I was able to capture every detail of the 90’s ambiance of this particular franchise.
It features stained ceiling tiles, and a open view to the unkempt kitchen/​work area with bright white («Cuckoo’s Nest») florescent fixtures, where three employees managed to not answer a ringing phone for at least 15 minutes. At least the phone drowned out the four-​inch speaker belting out bad 90’s romantic ballads.
I have enjoyed other Round Table locations in the past. Not this time.
The food? The pizza featured a strange burnt taste and cheese that tasted like a combination of Velveeta and Spackle.

It seems like service here is really slower than other Round Table Pizza’s I have been to!

Go in here occasionally for the lunch buffet. The staff is always very accommodating (asking what pizza we’d like on the buffet) and the food is always fresh. I can’t say the same for other Round Table’s, but this one is a consistently good experience.
