I come here with my best friend and my uncle all the time. It’s good paired with pizza or a fresh poke bowl. I’m a little sad because the last two times I’ve been here they’ve run out of boba. Good vibes, and good drinks. I’ve tried about %85 of the menu. I always reccomend this place over all the rest. Update: Whenever any of my friends come here they send me snaps of the buff tatted cashier. The one that wears a ring. A lot of my friends are crushing.

I like this place if me and my boyfriend happen to be around it. But it was good when we use to always come in but we just haven’t really gone in a long time. And it’s an alright place

My favorite milk tea place. Get the lavender milk tea with coconut jellies– seriously the perfect combo. Nice staff today too :)

I used to not really like this place, but it has definitely grown on me — I find their black milk tea(Moo Moo’s Milk Tea) to be really unique in flavor! The smell is really refreshing and the taste is just the right amount of sweetness.(You can also adjust the sweetness level to your preference). It’s a bit more expensive than other milk tea places, but I think the taste is worth it. I recommend getting their black tea and not any of the flavored ones because I think most of the flavored ones are just filled with powder. I tried the Taro Milk Tea once and it was such an artificial purple color. The taste was also really sweet/powdery, and I couldn’t really taste the tea flavor anymore. TL;DR — Love their classic black milk tea. But only giving three stars because their other drinks aren’t very appealing to me. Random Tip! — They have chubby cups, but you can ask for a regular tall cup if you are traveling long distances and want something that fits in the cupholder :)

Décor reminds me of pink berry — little ikea style cutesy furniture, whitewash walls. Music selection is pretty good. The only thing i get there is the Yogurt special drink. It reminds me of my favorite mixed fruit drink from Phoenix in soCal. Sweet, tart, milky, icy, with chopped mixed fruit, YUM! Cost is approx. $ 5. I wish the registers weren’t hidden in the back behind the dining area. Or that the menu board font s so teeny tiny to read.

In the same shopping center as Hokee Pokee. We picked up some food there first and brought it over to enjoy with some delicious moo moo drinks. At first we weren’t sure about bringing outside food but we saw others doing it and the staff didn’t say anything the whole time we were there. Think they also don’t serve food here so there’s no competition. This is more of a fancy tea place(ie not a tapex or quickly’s) with complicated drinks and prices to match. Haha. Décor is also clean and a little upscale. I ended up with the Strawberry jamming drink, which is iced milk with boba and strawberry bits. It was delicious. Reminded me of my favorite honey boba place in LA but it’s also a $ 5 drink. A little pricey but good to splurge every once in awhile. They also use those bucket cups that don’t fit in your normal cup holder.

Refreshing drinks. My girls love their pudding with milk tea. Taro milk tea with coconut. Different.

First thing I noticed today when I walked in the door was that there were teenagers EVERYWHERE! I didn’t notice how«OLD» I got until I had little teen eyes glaring at me from all directions as I walked to the counter. Guess it was my fault for going on a Friday afternoon(could be because it’s Friday the 13th but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) The second thing I noticed was the over powering smell of sugar, but what should I expect?! I’ve been here twice, first time for the moo moo milk tea and the mint mojito and the second time for a taro black milk tea. None of which made me go «OMG my inner fat self has been released!» The mint mojito was super bland and didn’t taste like coffee or mint. It was like watered down milk and watered down coffee, never again –_-. The Moo Moo Milk Tea was alright but too sweet in my opinion and the Taro Milk Tea did not have that authentic Taro Milk Tea taste that I was SO looking forward too. The snows on the other hand looked really really good… maybe third time’s the charm?! Overall, not bad but not epic either. Update: I did try the strawberry snow today and it was pretty good. I could’ve gone without any of the condense milk because that just made it overly sweet. Totally a better experience with the snows than my previous experience with their drinks.

I am a Moo Moo fan. I may be a tad partial because that cow mascot is so darn cute lol… but I digress. The size of their cup seemed a bit daunting at first(short and wide), but after trying my first drink, it wasn’t too much at all. I got the sunset which consisted of peach black tea, fresh strawberries, and mixed fruit jelly(I switched the fruit jelly for a mix of boba and coconut jelly). It was light and refreshing, but the boba made it substantial enough to pass for my afternoon dessert. I would come back for this drink for sure, but after looking through their menu, I knew I wanted to try the iced mint mojito coffee next time. I can’t imagine their version could hold a candle to Philz in SF, but I gotta try it to find out.

Mooooooorific place for a drink, social talking with friends, and whatever your kinda fun maybe, chilling and sipping on a drink, playing jenga, eating a «pizza pizza» from next door while getting your boba on. Fellow Unilocaler maricel s told me about this place and there iced mint mojito coffee, because i have a mint addiction ;). But i do gotta say Moo Moo has a very fresh minty taste! The drink was perfect! The store has a cool, lade back appeal to it. Plenty of big seats and tables. There were people just chilling with there drinks and eating a pizza from next door. There was a table of 4 friends playing jenga and my kids were watching, my son has played in school so he was eagerly inching over to them, they were friendly and cool, they let him play in the game. Parking is like every strip mall parking, they have plenty. Employees were very nice, helpful to my questions and smiling happily. Great visit, my kids didn’t wanna leave after they just found a few frinds, and my iced mint mojito coffee was perfectly made.

I was lured here by a Unilocal friend’s(Aline N.) constant love of this place. I am a huge fan of Boba drinks and this place has become my new addiction! Their made to order Thai Iced Tea is so addictive. It is one of the best Thai Teas I have ever had and when I order it at other places(i.e. Quickly, Boba Tea House, etc.) I am just left disappointed. Some other things that are great about this place: 1. The drinks only come in one size — HUGE! 2. They will split them if you ask 3. Price — It is definitely reasonable, compared to other Boba places 4. Lastly, customer service is great! They are very welcoming & always willing to help you choose a flavor… even though I only want one flavor!

This is now my all time favorite boba place in Elk Grove. I went here when it first opened and did not like it very much. I didn’t think I’d be back but my girl friends really liked this place so we went back a few more times. Honestly, I only went back again to spend time with my friends and the cow is just really cute. It eventually grew on me. A few months after, I think they got better at making their drinks and I started to have favorites I’d always order. Now, I’m addicted and go here at least a few times a month. They have a point system that you can sign up for to build points towards free drinks. I’ve maxed out the free drink system many times and have gotten many free drinks. I usually get black tea with most of my drinks because it helps bring out the the different flavors more. I always go here after I go to Thai Chili. Moo Moo opens later than most boba places on a Friday and Saturday night so it’s a good place to just go after dinner and continue the conversations. Plus, the lighting is nice and they play good music.

I dropped by Moo Moo after having a Hokee Poke lunch right next door. My friend and I decided to share a shaved snow to cleanse our fishy palate. It was a Friday afternoon and there were a lot of high school and middle school students wandering around the area. Some of kids made a huge mess and they were rude but whatever. We waited for a good 25 minutes wondering where our shaved snow was. We went to go check up on it and they haven’t even started it. Even if they are short staffed or whatever, don’t lie and say it’s on the way when you had 3 orders before us. At least have the courtesy to tell your customers about the delay and offer something or say sorry. We ordered the shaved snow to go and Wen they finally brought it out, it was on a plate which we couldn’t take to go. We ordered the pandan snow with strawberries, mangos and condensed milk. The mangos seemed old, and barely any condensed milk. I for sure won’t be coming back until they have better customer service.

Cute, white, and clean lil spot. Stopped here because of a friend’s recommendation. Tried one of their specialty drinks. The Red moon. It was good. It would taste better without the boba though. Next time I’m ordering it without. The place reminds me of SNOWBEETEASTATION.

I got the hot taro milk tea. It was good. Not too sweet, not too bland. Just right. The temperature was super hot but it was perfect for me bc by the time I got to drink it, it was perfect temperature. :) still kind of hot but drinkable where it doesn’t burn your tongue and still warms you up inside. The décor is all white and clean. It looked kind of empty but a lot of people probably just stop in to pick up like I did. I came here because it was near hokee poke and wanted a drink and poke :) Sorry I can’t share whether the boba texture is good or not. I’m not a big boba fan. Big plus is that they have almond and soy milk as an alternative! I prefer almond but they just ran out today. ALWAYS good to have alternatives… :)

Moo Moo has been open for over a year, but I just tried it for the first time on Friday, mainly because it was in the same complex as Hokee Poke. I do love boba milk tea, but I haven’t found a perfect milk tea place in Sac. At Moo Moo, majority of milk teas on their menu are made from powder, which I dislike. My friend ordered first and got a coconut milk tea. It was way too sweet and artificial tasting. By far, it could not compare to Bambu’s coconut milk tea, which uses fresh coconut. I ordered the dark roasted oolong milk tea with grass jelly and boba and sweetness level of 75%. The dark roasted oolong milk tea is one of two milk teas on the menu that is made with fresh brewed tea. It was fairly good and just the right level of sweetness at 75%. It has a good tea flavor, but not very strong, and becomes a little bland once the ice melts. The boba was great, very chewy and not too hard. The grass jelly was also very good. I would definitely recommend ordering the fresh milk tea because in general, it’s less sweet than the other milk teas on the menu. Something else caught my eye that was a little bit of a turn off. I noticed a hand drawn sign on their counter showing that if you order ice, your drink will be filled to the top. However, if you ask for no ice, they’ll only fill your cup ¾ full(or maybe a bit more? it was hand drawn). I’ve been drinking milk tea for decades and with or without ice, majority of places will fill it to the top. And charge less than what they charge at Moo Moo. In a nutshell, here are my positives and negatives about this place… Positives — 1. the fresh brewed milk teas 2. the boba and other toppings taste good! 3. drink was prepared very quickly 4. customer service was great 5. FREE wi-fi!!! 6. nicely decorated place to hang out and play games 7. cute cow logo 8. they accept credit cards Negatives — 1. the flavored milk teas are made from powder and artificial flavoring 2. they are too sweet at the standard/normal level 3. they give you less drink if you ask for no ice 4. the price for milk tea is pretty expensive($ 3.85 for fresh milk tea, plus 50 cents per topping, plus tax). 5. Although their cups are cute, they don’t fit in the car cup holder. Overall, this place has its pluses and minuses so it’s really about what the customer prefers for their order. Some people like their drinks very sweet with artificial flavors, but it’s not my cup of tea. I would come back and order the fresh brewed milk tea again or possibly try their shaved snow.

Don’t get the matcha milk tea! I saw the Unilocal pictures and ended up ordering one and wow, it tasted so off. I’ve had real matcha milk tea and I don’t mind strong tea or matcha flavor but here. It was a weird taste. It was extremely bland and thick. The workers were kind enough to add more sugar to it so I don’t blame them for the drink. But I let everyone in my group try it and everyone hated it. Even with the sugar it was bad. HOWEVER, the saving grace was when I tried my friends moo moo milk tea. Just a regular black milk tea but it was actually good! Which made me 1000 times sadder that my drink was so bad :(

I had the moo moo milk tea with grass jelly. The drink was very good. I would definitely come back again and try other drinks. They have regular travel cup size upon request. Usually the cups are big and does not fit in your cup holder. The service was great. I didn’t know what to order, so the cashier took her time and showed me pictures of their popular drinks which I thought was very nice of her. Overall, I would come back again to try other drinks

DRINK Green Tea Jasmine Milk Tea with grass jelly. Tasty and refreshing with the perfect amount of sweetness. 4⁄5 SERVICE Super friendly. The cashier took her time and showed us pictures of what they offered since we were so indecisive. She even let us sample their Moo Moo Milk Tea which was delicious. Don’t forget to ask for the travel cup if you’re taking your drink to go! Their regular cups will not fit in the standard cup holder. 4⁄5 FINALTHOUGHTS I would definitely come back. I would like to try their yogurt Blitz and shaved snow. Not that it matters, but their cow logo is so dang cute! I can’t stand it!

On a fine Saturday afternoon on 10/10/2015, I was heading to this cuteness and finest place called, «Moo Moo.» Moo Moo delivers their favorite boba drinks, milk teas, shaved snow plates, and many more! As I entered, the atmosphere is social-friendly and ongoing. The concept is very contemporary made filled with grey and white colors that surrounds the whole room. The employees aka baristas are doing a fine job here for making the customers like me very happy as I welcomed there for the first time. So far, no cons at all. For the drinks, I ordered their signature classic, the Moo Moo’s Milk Black Tea with bobas as requested for my drink’s toppings. As I drank it, it tasted not that bad! Very flavorful for the blending combination of whole milk and black tea. The bobas are very eatable to eat as I chew it while drinking. I haven’t tried their shaved snow creations after my first visit, so I’ll might be back to try it for my next visit. Of course, they have some good games here like Jenga, Chess, and Go-Fish too, so you can play it with your friends all day long. Additionally, this place has a free secured wi-fi available! It’s located at the bottom of your printed receipt, so you can access it easier to surf the web. There’s some good, ample of parking spaces available, so you don’t have to worry without the hassles. In the end, Moo Moo is the kindness, and delightful place to have your drinks and shaved snow entrees right here in the city of Elk Grove. A well, worthy visit! My rating: 4 solid stars.
