Fresh Cleaners

I come to Fresh Cleaners whenever I want alterations done. I’m very happy with the quality of work I’ve received from the lady there – I’ve given her everything from basic hemming of pants to shortening delicate occasion dresses. Admittedly sometimes there is a language barrier in trying to explain what I want and understanding her, but even then, she always does a fantastic job on all the alterations I have given her.
However, I have stopped going there for ONLY dry cleaning. I always seem to receive stains whenever I get my dry cleaning back from her. I got faint colored stains on both work dresses and casual dresses. She is always willing to remove the stains, however, I don’t really trust giving her anymore dry cleaning … but I will still come back for the alterations work she does!
Price-​wise, I think it’s comparable to other dry cleaning locations in the area.

This is our go to dry cleaners and alterations spot. The lady can do same day services. Their prices are fair and for alterations I would say they are extremely reasonable! My husband needs his suits dry cleaned all the time for work so we’re always using her. I’ve used her to dry clean a couple wedding outfits too.

I have been going to this place for alterations for years. I’ve had a leather jacket, purse, blouses, etc altered and was very satisfied with the finish product. It nice to find a place that opens early in the morning and will sometimes same day service. The lady is very kind and polite. They do a great job!

We have had nothing but excellent service and quality work. We’ve had dry cleaning, laundry and sofa slip covers done. All top quality. We’ve had alterations and repairs done, as well. We haven’t had a problem in over the two years we’ve been customers.

Completely ruined a Beautiful leather coat !! They have no experience in cleaning Fine Leather products !!!

I’ve been using these dry cleaners for several years, I’ve never had any problems as mentioned by other reviewers here. I’ve always been offered fair prices and my items are always taken care of. They have pressed, reppaired, tailored suits, uniforms, personal clothing, scarfs, and its all turned out great. They take care of business, they aren’t trying to be your friends.

I’ve come here once in awhile to get my pants hemmed and it’s been a few years, but the lady doing the alterations is still the same person. I know exactly what my inseam is as I am a petite woman and always need my pants hemmed. I brought in 4 pairs of jeans and told the lady what measurement I needed. I even measured myself in front of her so that she could see exactly how long I wanted my pants to be. When I picked the jeans up, I didn’t bother trying them on because I figured it was an easy hem. I got home, tried on each pair, and found that they were anywhere from ½”-1″ shorter than what I had asked. I called the lady right away and she said that she would show me «her way» of how she measures the pants. What does she mean «her way»? Isn’t there a standard way of measuring the inseam?! Anyway, I brought the pants back the next day and she asked me to step aside while another customer came behind me to get her items hemmed. I almost wanted to warn the customer, but decided otherwise. When she finally gave me her attention, she showed me how she measured the inseam: she doesn’t stretch the pant leg out completely for one, and then she starts the tape measure a little above the crotch area. Of course it measured right doing it «her way»! She raised her voice at me saying, «Why would I go any shorter than what you asked?» My response was, «How should I know! You’re not measuring correctly though.» Before I left, I told her that I was unhappy with the service provided and that she has lost a customer. Whether or not she cares, who knows. But beware if you’re going to get your clothes altered here. I’d go somewhere else if I were you.

I have been coming here for over a year. While I have always had decent service here, the lady is not the most friendliest person in the world. I am not coming back to this place due to the horrible experience recently when I brought in my khakis to have it evaluated by this lady on whether she will be able to get a big blotch of red wine stain off.
I was on the verge of just throwing those things away but heck, why not let a person who I thought knew what she was doing to evaluate it. She said she can try and from what I understand from her (her english is not the best either), she will not charge me a dime if the stains doesn’t come off so I decided to leave it there. I came back next week and she fetched the pants off of the rack and proceeded to charge me. I asked whether the stains came off and she assured me that it was. Luckily, I took a second look and found the stains were still there (although it was lighter than before) so I pointed to the spots. She then said she tried and will «give me a discount». I asked her what about our prior conversation and she did not acknowledge it. I was really mad at this point in time and paid the so called «discount» and stormed out. She offered to give back the money at the end but it is too late. The dishonesty and the lack of customer service did it for me and I will not be returning.

I was looking around for a new dry cleaning place that wasn’t so expensive until I found some coupons that came in the mail and decided to give them a try. I was thinking dry cleaning would be the same process but somehow they added heat to the process and my favorite sweaters shrunk from a small to an x-​small. So beware unless you want free alternations to come along with the $ 2.50 price.

Discounts for regulars, coupons in the mail. Service is as quick as I need even with occasional rush. I think prices are fair.

Fresh Cleaners did a great job for me. I brought my girlfriends new jeans in to get it hemmed. I asked her to get it done with the original bottom. Some places don’t do it even if you asked them to. This lady was real nice about it and guaranteed that it’ll be done right. Picked up the pair of jeans a few days later and my girlfriend was real happy with her jeans. Thanks Fresh Cleaners!
