My grandparents moved here recently and I would not recommend this place to someone else. The rooms are tiny. You can’t fit a queen bed in the bedroom. The living room is a closet. The dining is on a strict schedule. My grandparents had an assigned seat in the dining room. Other residents seem unhappy and angry and keep to themselves. My grandparents complained about the food and strict dining hours. My grandma told me events don’t occur often and the crafts club is a joke. She said the crafts consisted of putting stickers on things… that isn’t crafts. I’m dissapointed. I will say it was clean. The windows are updated and the outside area is pleasant, however I think senior facilities should do better especially when the costs are so steap. I also am updating this information because my grandparents had to leave immediately due to law violations. My grandmother did not receive a bath in over a week(they are required, by law, to bathe the residences weekly). In addition, she was given a higher dosage of pain medication than what the doctor prescribed. The situation troubled me. I visited twice, and then we decided to move them to a better place. We couldn’t trust the place to provide the care they needed. Each time we went, I felt depressed. I was sad they were stuck in a little apartment, with no one about, and food they didn’t like. What a horrid way to live out the remainder of your life. I am very glad we moved them. I don’t recommend Emeritus at Laguna Springs. The people who work here need to retire and the whole place needs some needed change. And maybe demolition. The rooms are ridiculously tiny.

The Emeritus has been a life saver for mom. After a horrible stay at another facility this place is fantastic! I can relax knowing mom is in good hands.
