I called in my order, which I usually do, because I know dos coyotes gets pretty busy at lunch. I ordered a steak bowl with xtra steak, taco al carbon, and a tres taco basket. When I got there my order wasn’t ready and I was told by the cashier that it will be a few minutes. While I waited, I checked out their salsa bar. I tasted everyone of the fresh salsas and my favorite one was the fresh sweet green salsa. I still went ahead and got all of the salsas to see what taste best for my steak bowl. After I had all of my salsas, I went back to my table and I waved down one of the servers to inquire about my order. She checked on it and informed me that they lost the ticket and didn’t have my order. So she handed me a sharpie and a piece of paper to write down what I ordered. Keep in mind, it was about 30 minutes from the time I placed my order. I was kinda getting irritated and the place was getting even more crowded. I wrote down the order and she immediately took the order back to the manager. The manager then came back about two minutes later with my food and she apologized for the inconvenience. When I got back to work, I started to hand out the food to my co workers and to my disappointment, I was shorted one of the three meals I ordered. The meal that was missing belonged to my co worker who was treating us to lunch. I immediately called them and told them they shorted me a meal. The manager told me to come back and they will replace the meal. I then jumped back into my truck and went back to dos coyotes. At this point I was totally pissed off. Not only my lunch is over, I haven’t eaten it yet and I have to go back to dos coyotes to grab my co worker’s lunch. Ooooooh I said to myself«I will Unilocal the shit out of this place.» I walked into the door of dos coyotes feeling like I was about to go into an octagon to fight a UFC match. The manager saw me and said«Sir, we totally apologize and what I can do is replace all three meals and give you your cash back.» I quickly came back to my senses, smiled and said«wow you’d do that for me.» She walked away for about two minutes and came back with all three meals. She then went into the cash register and refunded my coworker’s money. She said«my name is Sam and if you need anything else just give me a call.» I told her I was going to come back and order some steak and chicken skewers for the Super Bowl. She said just let us know 48 hours ahead of time. I have to commend Sam for turning this bad situation into a great one. So much so I’m giving them 5 fricken stars for the overall food experience and for Sam’s wonderful service.

A few weeks ago we dined here and unfortunately there was a pretty big piece of broken glass in our nachos. Scary thing is that it was mixed in and covered in beans and cheese so it could have easily been missed. Fortunately, I noticed the foreign piece and notified the manager. He came by our table and apologized and informed us that there was an accident in the kitchen and that they would be replacing the food on the line. It would have been nice if he reimbursed us for our meal or at least offered a discount on our next meal because we couldn’t finish our glass contaminated food. Manager just left us to finish our contaminated nachos. We literally took 4 bites of our food and left. What a waste of our $ 10 nachos.

Stopped by here on our way back from Lake Tahoe. We were originally on our to Black Bear Diner and saw this place. My mother was in for Mexican so we decided to give this place a try. My mother and I got the Taco’s Al carbon, she got both steak and I got one steak and one pulled pork. They are by far on of the best tacos tacos we have tried. The steak was cooked just right and pulled pork had great taste. My boyfriend got the Cesar Salad and he loved it. It’s was HUGE! Which was just perfect for him. My dad got the paella burrito which he liked. Service was very friendly and super fast. They brought out order up, in less than 5 minutes of sitting down. Which was a BIG plus seeing as my boyfriend and dad are very impatient. Great salsa bar. Definitely stopping by next time we head that way!

My first time trying dos coyotes was at sac airport. We got the ranchero burrito and nachos. It was amazing. So I decided to order food from here while we were in the area. I got a salad and shrimp taco to go and ordered a mahi mahi plate for my friend. The shrimp taco only had 2 shrimps inside and it wasn’t good at all. It was filled with a bunch of lettuce and shredded cheese. Something you would find at a Del taco but actually del taco’s shrimp tacos are a lot better. The salad wasn’t good either because it was plain and the chicken was super dry to where the dressing didn’t help out. My friend only ate her mahi mahi because she said that was the expensive part and didn’t want her $ to go to waste. So she didn’t like her food either. The only good part was the chips and salsa. But I won’t be coming back to this location. Also the workers were just standing around joking and messing around. Maybe I will try it somewhere else again.

Oh how I love my Dos. And miss it. There’s a severe shortage of awesome food in Medford Or. I think a Dos would do very well here! Hint hint.

There’s nothing new to say. Same quality food and service as the other locations! Shared a shrimp burrito, wet burrito, and steak nachos. Great food and love the salsa options! We need one here in the Bay Area. Nobody has nachos quite like dos does!

Pretty good spot for Mexican food. It was my first time at Dos Coyotes and I really enjoyed it. I ordered the Border Burrito(asada) and it was huuuge, stuffed with just the right amount of meat, cheese and beans. Service is good. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you, like Carl’s Jr. They also come around to ask if everything’s okay, which is nice. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. It’s a bit pricey for fast casual but I think it’s worth it. This place is way better than Baja Fresh or Chipotle. I’ll definitely come back here in the future.

I am shocked I have not written a review for this place yet. If I want a burrito I come here! Really good Southwestern Tex Mex food! I like the salsa bar and the freshness of the produce. The soda fountain is really cool and fun to try! I’ve been here so many times and have always gotten the shrimp burrito. The shrimp is so very tender and tasty. The best shrimp burrito I’ve ever tried! Today I got the fish tacos, they were good. I don’t know if it’s the type of fish cooked, but it was slightly dry, just a teeny tiny bit! The plate was good though. The rice was flavorful and especially yummy. The beans were the usual decried beans that were pretty good for scooping up with the tortilla chips. So how about food for the little ones? Well my middle one eats the Border Burrito and I am happy with how they always remember to keep the stuff on the side that he doesn’t like and the eldest and youngest usually share a chicken and cheese quesadilla. Same thing though, they kept the chile’s off her quesadilla as requested. Upon entering you stand in line to order, this must be for efficiency sake. The food is served on dishes, real metal utensils and real glass cups are used. You can ask for extra dishes with no grimace or complaint. Tables are bused and they clear away your dishes as you finish so you don’t have a pile of empty dishes to stare at while another party member is finishing their plate. Overall a solid 4 stars due to their consistency of cleanliness, service, and good food. They are very good, but not mindblowingly awesome, hence the lack of the 5th star!

I normally order the nachos but I decided to try their tacos during my last visit. I had two of the chicken original dos and one steak. for the three and a side of complimentary chips it was about $ 11. both the chicken and the steak were juicy and fresh. the tacos are served with guac, cilantro and onion. I wish there was lettuce for some texture but the guac was good. their guac is more smooth than chunky and the cilantro added a nice bite. each taco consists of two tortillas, which is nice since they stuff each of them and the stuffing can easily rip through one tortilla. it didn’t seem like a big meal but I could only eat two tacos and a few chips in one sitting so it is a fulfilling meal!

Great Tex-Mex place. The salmon burrito they serve here is AMAZING. I crave it every now and again and I make the trip all the way out to Dos Coyotes just to get my hands on it! It’s a huge burrito for ~$ 10 and usually fills me up for the rest of the day. I’ve also tried their different tacos and I’ve tried the shrimp burrito, but the salmon burrito makes me come back every time. The white sauce combined with the guacamole they put on most of their burritos and some of their tacos is great. I really should branch out and try their other menu items since everyone else here seems to rave about everything else! The restaurant itself is always very clean, with indoor and outdoor seating. It’s one of those restaurants where you place your order first, and then they deliver your order to you at your table. They have a salsa bar that has a variety of salsa choices, as well as a Coca-Cola Freestyle Machine. The majority of the time, the cashiers are super friendly. Today not so much, the cashier was incredibly impatient and looked/sounded annoyed the whole time I was placing my order. She also just plopped the tip jar right in front of us as we were paying – kinda awkward. Although, I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt-there were a few kids running around the restaurant and the place was a little busy, so perhaps it was just the end of a bad day. There are also times when there are char bits in my burrito. But all in all, that salmon burrito is going to keep me coming back, man.

This place is great. Its always busy which is a good sign. They have plenty of outdoor and indoor sittings. It’s nice to sit outside during summer time and enjoy their delicious food. I love their pulled pork border burrito. It’s huge and worth every penny. Their Mojave chicken nachos are very tasty and good with great portion size too. I have tried their paella burrito which was very different and very delicious. I love their menu… its huge with so many options. Their nachos and burritos comes with sour cream and guacamole, unlike most places where they charge you extra for it. Can’t wait to go back and try something new and different.

Kind of sad, I placed an order to pick up and brought it home to find an over whelming amount of grease and grill char on my sons quesadilla. The nachos were good, not many chips to melted cheese ratio. But still worth a third time. The first time was great. Sooo, maybe I just shouldn’t order an hour before close? Chairs were already up and ready to go.

Can I marry this place?! I would if I could. Hands down one of the BEST Mexican food places I’ve ever been to. I have tried the shrimp taco, the Yucatan Chicken salad(which comes in a VERY big portion), and the scallop burrito, I think that’s what it’s called. The best part is that it’s very cheap yet so tasty. The shrimp taco filled me up, and I believe it came with chips as well. The Yucatan Chicken salad is big enough for possibly 3 – 4 people! My goodness. When I first saw it, I was really thinking if my sister and I were going to finish it. And the scallop burrito– I believe that is a seasonal special, but that was very delicious. It was made with special white sauce. I could go on and on about how good the food was. You just have to taste it for yourself. The portions they give are very reasonable! You get a good portion for the price you pay. I try not to go here as often because it’d kill my wallet. The salsa bar has a wide variety of salsas to choose from! The green salsa is the BEST. It’s so tangy and sweet, it’s really finger-licking good. This place is good for a quick bite to eat, or just to hang out with friends, whatever. It’s always going to end up with a great time with yummy food at Dos Coyotes!

Larger and more predatory than a jackal?!? And two of them?!? I heard they howl, cry, bark, wail, squeal, growl, AND Unilocal(literally!)… «so it’s only right that I let the drop top on a top-drop Porsche» .it’s for myself, it’s important. Scallop Scampi Burrito($ 9.25) — scallops and baby spinach sautéed with lemon, garlic butter in a flour tortilla with rice and roasted tomato salsa. I’m glad I can open my mouth wide enough to devour this beautiful behemoth of a burrito-h oh oh my goodness it is sooo good. Scallops make me giggle like a little boy. My favorite kind of spinach is the baby kind because they’re cuddlier. When life gives me lemons I sauté food with them. Garlic butter in a flour tortilla is WAY better than no garlic butter with no flour tortilla. Asians and rice are best friends forever. Roasted tomato salsa makes me want to salsa with the stars. This place is spickety-span clean and vibrant. Just imagine a gay Zorro who got into interior design. «He was vigorous… he was very VIGOROUS, Father.»

I’m not the biggest fan of Mexican/Tex-Mex food but we decided to come here one night for dinner to use an old $ 25 gift card. I have been here a couple times in high school but never really got hooked on it. I looked at the menu ahead of time and had my eye on a seasonal Elk Grove-only special: potato quesadilla. But once I arrived, I felt like a potato quesadilla probably wouldn’t represent Dos Coyotes very well. I couldn’t remember if I liked ranchero sauce or not so I asked the cashier a few questions. He was very patient and answered everything I asked. I ended up ordering a ranchero chicken burrito, which comes with chips on the side. Verdict: Delicious! The food came out super fast. The ranchero sauce was the best part. Especially mixed with the cheese, and my side of sour cream. The chicken was tender also. I tried all of the salsas available at the salsa bar but my favorite was the green one, I’m guessing a tomatillo sauce. It was sweet but spicy and went well with my dish. Also, the portion was huge and I was able to take half home for lunch the next day. Overall great experience, more memorable than the last. I’ll be back(not just because I still have some of my gift card left…)!

Visited this location again today for lunch and was lucky enough to grab a table outside in the shade, to enjoy the beautiful weather. It was in the middle of the lunch rush on the weekend but I was able to order at the counter right away and helped myself to the complimentary salsa bar afterwards. I ordered the market burrito bowl with no beans, extra rice and added shredded lettuce on top with guacamole. Yummy! The flavor of everything is great and the price is absolutely affordable as well. The staff was friendly and my order arrived to my table within five minutes after I had placed the order, so quick! As soon as patrons were done eating, staff came over to buss it immediately. I will continue to frequent this«tex mex» restaurant chain simply due to the good flavor and very affordable prices.

Also they have great steaks salad and their special sauce is amazing. The portion size is always huge so they always give enough in there never gritty about their stuff. and the manager name I think it’s Sam she is a great help around the business wonderful manager!

My husband and I ordered take out we got the Navajo nachos, ranchero burrito, border burrito with red chile sauce as you can see i my pictures. First of all the burritos are a really great big size I couldn’t even finish it. Our Navajo nachos was missing guacamole and sour cream and we had refried beans when we specifically ordered back beans. We called and spoke to a manager about this and he took care of it so that was great of them to do for their mistake. The ranchero burrito was really good and the border burrito with the red chile sauce was not. I personalized it to have the red chile sauce which I obviously shouldn’t have. I will give them another shot. I was happy with my first experience and this is my second experience. Update 1÷24÷15: ok I’m writing this the following day. I originally gave a 3 star but it’s officially a one star. I was eating the rest of my burrito and well as I was chewing I felt a sharp bone which you see in my picture. I will definitely not be back here. Maybe others will probably have a better experience but I definitely did not and I ordered take out! I already spoke to manager and informed him they handled it well and any way I believe any restaurant should. So that makes my review go up to 2 stars.
