I have never had a bad meal here. The warm chips and salsa are a favorite of mine, along with the chicken fajitas. Throw in a margarita while you are at it and you have one well rounded meal. The servers are always very pleasant. The place is clean. The homemade tortillas are absolutely delicious. They also have a nice large area for banquet and larger groups. I have used their catering services many times and they are excellent!!!

I ordered the shrimp enchilada combo after work and was in a hurry to get home and clean the house on a Friday night to be ready for the weekend family BBQ parties and forgot to check my order at the restaurant, 15 minutes later I drove home and realized the chef forgot to put in the beans and rice. I took a picture of the platter as evidence and called back the manager and told him the Chefs forgot to put in beans and rice for this combo, the manager no questions asked told me he would remake my whole meal free of charge. He didn’t even ask for photo evidence of the none beans and rice residue. Amazing customer service and very willing and eager to help me even though I was in a hurry that night. I will recommend this restaurant everyone.

First I am fan of their chips. ! but Sala is something I really dislike. I had lunch with mom after doc appoint. Our food was not bad but too salty for us. We end up just finish 1⁄3 and left. The ingredient was fresh and flavorful but sadly we did not enjoy.

Having not long lived in California, I’ve not heard of Chevys so had my first experience Sunday. I have to say it is now one of my new favourite places! The food was so delicious. I took my 2 daughters(2.5 and 8 months) who equally loved the food! Not only that, the service from start to finish was, in my opinion, 5*! From the welcome from the lovely front of house girls through to our server and in fact all staff members and the manager. I’m actually all about customer service and find that most places you go nowadays that someone is either new, bored or not enjoying their job. At Chevys every staff member interacted with my girls and made us feel so welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. The whole team are a huge credit to the Chevy brand! I’ll definitely be taking my husband when he’s back in town!

If you go to Chevys request Oscar, he was excellent, quick, and kept the drinks full and made sure everything was 100 percent accurate. Customer service was excellent

We decided to join the crowd and came for dinner on Cinco de Mayo — one of the most busiest day for Mexican restaurants. Atmosphere: The atmosphere was great! Both the bar and dining area was packed. There were lots of happy faces and laughter that can be heard over the top 40 songs playing in the background. There was also a mariachi group of 3 going around asking if the patrons would like to listen to a song. Service: There was a long waiting line but for some reason we were seated in less than 15 minutes(party of 4). Our server greeted us immediately. Our water came out fast but our drinks did not. It took nearly 20 minutes to get our bulldogs since the bar was busy. Good thing we got our first drinks at the bar. Food: The food came out fast since we only order 2 appetizers. The flautas are always tasty and served with sweet mango sauce. The flakiness of the rolled tortillas was perfect. The meat inside was moist and flavorful too. We also has the spicy wings to our surprised was good. The wings were a meaty and generously glazed with sauce. Lets not forget about their complementary chips and salsa. They have the best chips and salsa in town! The only bad thing that I can say about this visit and prior visits in the past is the wait for our long drinks. The wait is long even on non-holidays. Other than that, I enjoyed Chevys!

We’ve always had good experiences here, but tonight was awesome! It’s cinco de mayo and even though the place was packed and extremely busy Sharron(our waitress) made waitressing seem easy. Super friendly, and totally attentive, she made us feel like we were a priority! If you’re here you have to ask for Sharron

I had an exceptional time here. The employees were outstanding, especially Abraham! He did such an amazing job and his vibes of happiness was astonishing. Having a staff that provides such an amazing job, makes the food even that better. I will definitely be coming back here. Plus, the buffet for children that they have on weekends is so cute. One of the individuals was wearing a belle outfit and was providing such good service as well, and interacting with children. Overall, this place was OUTSTANDING! Thank you Abraham for the great service and we’ll hopefully be seeing you here again.

I ordered the fish tacos and they were pretty good. Taste was fresh. We sat in the bar area which was cool because it the Basketball games on. Service was decent as well. Their chips and salsa are addicting.

I think I have to agree with all the other 3 stars unfortunately. Wife and I ate lunch here Saturday I believe it was and I feel as if the Chevy’s restaurant chain is slowly getting worse and worse. I remember as a kid coming to the only Chevy’s in Sacramento and each time it was an experience, not just a place to eat. Now, the food quality seems to have decreased along with the service. I only go to Chevy’s at this point in time for one menu item(flautas). If it wasn’t for the flautas I honestly would have no desire to go. This particular Saturday lunch just seemed like the service was pretty poor(maybe the server had a lot of tables), but drink refills were few and far between, the food took a long time to come out, paying for the meal took an eternity, and again the food was just not up to par. Usually the flautas are fresh and soft and full of meat while this time around they were burnt and had maybe half of the normal meat\filling inside. I know the Chevy’s in the Arden area went out of business and I’m thinking this one may follow suit if it doesn’t work on getting back to the good old days.

This is one of the few ones that is left close to my hood. My favorite one is the one on garden highway because it has a classy view of the river. But this one will do when i don’t want to travel all the other side just for the view if its just a casual lunchy. Anyways came here on a rainy day for some quick lunch… I always go to the mixed grilled. What the heck is a mixed grill? Well You can choose pork, chicken, steak, shrimp or a combo of everything. The protein is served on a hot grill under the grilled onions and green bell pepper and it is brought out to you. With a side of beans of you choice, rice, and sweet corn. Of course a mix of guac, sour cream, and salsa is included. my favorite protein on the dish is just steak and shrimp. Enough with this mouth watering dish. Today i sat down by the bar area and it was quiet during lunch. The server quickly dropped down the menu along with some fresh steaming crispy tortilla chips with a side of salsa. i had ordered the 3 combo lunch deal where i chose fresh garden veggie enchiladas, Crispy crunching chicken flautas, and cheesy chili relleno. Comes with beans and rice too. The lunch combo was actually quite big and my eyes were bigger than my tummy. I took home half for later to compliment my netflix and chill. Let me say the chicken flautas are always a great start for chevys. It is always so crunchy and saucy good. Try it if you never had a bite of it. The enchiladas was filled with fresh veggies for every bite! The enchiladas was like each bite of guilt free. The chili relleno i didn’t really have a chance to get into it, but i did have a fourth of it and it was super cheesy! Overall this lunch combo can really feed 2 people and I’m a big boy too. Service well it was easy peezy, it was just me and it wasn’t busy so of course it was a breeze. The wait for my food was quick and it was a plus since i was on the go kind of schedule. i recommend this place if you haven’t tried the chicken flautas or if your just thirsty, come here for their margaritas because you will have more than one. :) Speaking of flavored margarita you can’t go wrong with strawberry. My favorite seasonal one is watermelon but that is always towards summer time. Even the house flavor one is perfect during happy hour. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

This review is for happy hour only! I freaking love Chevys Happy Hour! Everyday from 2pm-close, what can be better? Their happy hour prices are on point. My favorite happy hour drink is definitely the house margarita, it’s bomb! Their service is a hit or miss but for the price, I can’t really complain. This has became a regular spot for me on the weekends and I will continue to come for happy hour drinks, they’re appetizers are good too, not a fan of their food tbh.

This was my first time at this chevy’s but i’ve been to the ones in Sacramento for HH. We came to this chevy’s for a baby shower and I was pleasantly surprised. The chips and salsa were bomb! We couldn’t stop eating the chips and the salsa was the perfect balance of spicy and salty. The fajitas plate was huge and everything on it was good. The carnitas were especially good and I really liked the tortillas. However, the beans were a little too salty, IMO. A lot of our table got the combo and it looked good but was only alright. I’m glad I got the fajitas. What really surprised me about chevy’s was the service. Our waitress was really attentive and knew our orders better than we did, even though we were a large group. Also, chevy’s is very kid friendly. They had a kid’s buffet and a cotton candy machine! They also come with a chevy’s hat and sing to you on your bday.

I go to Chevys a lot and it was my first time that I had ordered the chicken flautas for pick up. I normally order the flautas whenever I eat at Chevys. And omg I was so disappointed! There were nothing in my flautas. I can see how they treat their customers that don’t eat in. I’m so disappointed. I’m a little late on my review cause the order was on December 26,2015. I think no matter what the customer chooses to do either by dining in or take out the restaurant should prepare their food the same.

I’m a fan of Chevy’s in general. I honestly prefer the one in Rancho Cordova to this one but I no longer live in Rancho Cordova and this is the closest one. The food is really good, I think that in the past few years or so there has been an emphasis on the quality of food for Chevy’s. I never disliked Chevy’s but it was more of a fresh mex place in the past and now its closer to authentic. Prices are reasonable, food is good, service is usually good and the drinks are pretty darn good. I love that they always have new fresh drinks. I also love that there seems to be an emphasis on fresh ingredients now in their drinks so your drink doesnt come out crazy colors due to the artificial food dyes.

We choose to come here to try something new. We brought my son along and he was stoked that along with the usual crayons and coloring menu, they also gave him homemade play dough to play with. Which came in, to my surprise very entertaining and helpful to keep his ADHD hands occupied. I ordered the combo plate and I was pleasantly surprised. My husbands surf and turf steak was excellent and very tender. I had the chicken flautas with a habanero jelly dipping sauce. Very yummy! Just the right amount of spice to sweetness… and I don’t normally do spicing, but I loved this sauce. I also had the the pulled pork enchiladas which were very tender and perfect. My son ordered off the kids menu and I was happy with their choices for kids; macaroni and cheese, chicken bites, quesadillas or even a hamburger. I was very pleased that even though my sons chicken bites didn’t normally come with a side of beans and rice, our waiter was nice enough to throw it in for free, SCORE! Oh and I almost forgot about their salsa and chips while you wait. I. Love. The. Salsa. Perfect for people that don’t like spicy but it is different because the vegis are roasted so it gives it the best flavor. All-in-all, all three of us were very happy with our experience and will definitely be back, maybe on date night, adults only since they also have a FULLBAR.

OMG this place sucks shit now! Ahhhh!!! I just want to hit a fucking wall. Second time now me and the wife came in for drinks but waited for F’n EVER for our drink orders to be taken and just had to leave. Once, shame on you… twice, shame on me! So I take the blame for this one. Maybe that’ll be the new thing to do here… just come for the free chips and salsa. Nahhh I don’t think even FREE drinks all night wouldn’t be worth it at this point.

Dear Chevys, Oh how we enjoy thee. Our carnitas fajitas were great as usual! The flautas were AMAZING, savory and perfect with the delicious jalapeño jelly! The only downside to these dishes was that the fajitas need a bigger side of fixin’s. A little more sour cream and guac would go a long way! The happy hour margaritas were on point and our waitress Brittany was helpful and attentive– even to the point of making our cocktails after we waited and waited while the bartender chatted it up with another table. Thanks for a good night Chevys! OLE!
