What a great find!!! We’ve lived in Schaumburg for years and haven’t been able to find a good Chinese place until now. So nice that China Bowl delivers to Schaumburg, very convenient and their delivery has been faster than most. The food is always fresh and so far everything that we’ve ordered has been very tasty!!! They are reasonable priced and serve large portions. Nice to be able to make several meals out of just one order. Also, just wanted to point out that my husband does not eat any vegetables and they have always been really good about getting the orders right. They always offer different specials, and if nothing else their lunch and dinner combos are a great deal!!! So much food for one fixed priced. What a great find!!! Additionally, we have found their service to be nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!

Average Chines food, HUGE serving size(both lunch special and regular menu). I got the General’s Chicken(very meh), Mongolian beef(ok), Sweet Sour Chicken(above average) and Chicken Fried rice(average, but with a Thai twist). All serving sizes were 50% to 100% larger than other restaurants in the area. Value is the big plus at this place. I soup(Hot and Sour) was just ok. Overall, I’ll eat again as sometimes I care more about serving size than some out of the world taste.

What a rip off, didn’t provide any sauce and didn’t wanna provide a receipt towards the purchase. It had advertisement for $.99 for soup and I got charged almost $ 4.00 just because I ordered from online. When I called to let them know about it, they just simply ignored of what I was trying explain to them

Great affordable takeout food. This was my first time ordering and I ordered beef fried rice and got the miso soup for $ 1. Delivery was fast and I’ll definitely order from here again.

Didn’t like the shrimp with soft noodles it was not fresh, no flavor and looked like it was a leftover meal that they just partially heated up, will not go back.

Please fix the website pricing. I went on the website to order a soup and lunch special. The Hot and Sour soup was listed on the website as being a daily special for $ 0.99. I made my order and went to pick it up. The worker mumbled something quickly to me about the soup not being on special and ringed it up as $ 3.55 instead of $ 0.99. I understand that different soups go on special on different days but if you are going to allow people to order the special soups on the website, ensure that the pricing is accurate!

Ordered thru grub hub last night. Took a little over an hour to arrive. Pop was warm and caffeine free, food was not edible. We threw it away. Orange beef and general tzo’s chicken. Two of the easiest for any resturant to get right. I will never order from China bowl again.

Was craving Chinese food and since this place is very close to work decided to give it a try. Knew that it was take out only since I’ve driven by it for years. Got the sweet & sour chicken lunch special with chicken fried rice and an egg roll($ 7.16). Rice portion is huge, the chicken pieces are huge, as is the egg roll. Was ready when I got there 15 minutes after placing my order and was still piping hot when I got back to work(5 minute drive). Didn’t much care for the flavor of the egg roll, though it was crispy. Sweet & sour sauce comes in a separate container which is nice since you get to choose how much you want to use for pouring or dipping. Must say that I was stuffed after eating about half of the meal. However, when I got to work and opened up the bag, there was no fork, spoon, or napkin. Luckily, I had a spoon(would have preferred a fork) at work; don’t know if they forgot to include utensils or if they don’t include them.

This place was never that great but I just ordered a week ago and i will never go back again. I don’t know if it is under new owners but the beef was literally soggy and falling apart. Makes me scared to know what that actually was. I have never had beef that was disintegrating so i did not eat it.

Great food but delivery is super slow. We ordered lunch at 11:25am received at 2:15pm(not the first time). Missing some orders and others were mixed up. When we called back we were greeted with much attitude. Will not order from this place again.

This place is pretty good for the location and price point. The food is fresh and tasty. I usually order the Mongolian beef or the Singapore noodles. Both very good dishes. Not crazy about the Kung Pao Chicken or General Tsao Chicken. Egg Roll is not bad either. The dumplings are good as well. Will need to try the Chinese menu as it has gotten good reviews. The gentlemen there at the counter is always nice. They need heat in their establishment, its colder inside than it is outside. Everything is reasonable and they will make the food to suit specific tastes. Definitely worth trying out!

REALLY small place, one 4-seat table and 5 chairs to wait for to-go orders. Really meant for take out or delivery. Their lunch specials are very reasonably priced and include Chicken fried rice or steamed rice plus a big egg roll. Other kinds of rice can be had for an extra $ 1 Hunan beef with steamed rice and egg roll = $ 6.55 plus tax. Very nice owner up front. I waited(maybe) 5 mins and my order was ready. They deliver too and have online ordering. The food is great and they are down the street from work, I will be coming back!

I was in the mood for some Chinese and was feeling lazy, so I decided to try a new place near by that delivered. There is a $ 15 minimum to order, plus a delivery fee. I ordered the crab rangoons, chicken fried rice, and kung pao shrimp. It was delivered quickly, and everything was piping hot. The«smalls» are the biggest smalls I have ever seen — they definitely seemed liked larges. The crab rangoons were exactly how I like them — lots of filling, hot, crispy on the outside, and decent sized. You get a lot for your buck here. You can specify how spicy you want your dishes as well. PLUS you can order through Unilocal!Nice. They have plenty to choose from — mostly your usual Americanized Chinese dishes and some Thai dishes. I was pleased!

The food was fresh and tasted great. You could definitely tell that the vegetables are not from a frozen Asian mix bag. This is actually possibly the best American Chinese restaurant I’ve had. If this were in my neighborhood I would start worrying about my weight gain… However, I had to knock off a star because the food took more than an hour to get here and I was only 3 miles away.

Glad to write another 5-star for this restaurant. We ordered cashew beef/broccoli beef and two egg rolls. Our food was delivered within about 25 minutes. How great is THAT!!! Their food is excellent. The broccoli in the broccoli beef was still crisp, telling me that they slightly under cooked it to allow for home delivery. Can’t be beat. Oh, and their small portions? Still leftovers for one. Order with confidence.

Since we moved to Elk Grove this is our go to Chinese food place. Nice people, good food. There are just few things that I don’t care for, such as any of the sweet and sour dishes. I grew up eating the Chinese food from the new Hong Kong in Hanover Park which is outstanding. I haven’t found a sweet and sour sauce better than them. China Bowl closes early and is closed I. Sundays, so I took a star off for that!

Huge portions, a lot larger than panda for a better price. If going for lunch and not calling in, sometimes may need to wait
