Nice rooms for the price you pay. Don’t expect any special. Staff is nice and keeps the rooms clean. I ran to the gym and by the time I came back They had the room clean. Fitness room kind of sucks but theirs a gym a mile away from the hotel so could be worse. Breakfast is actually pretty good I was surprised by it

Cons: Muggy. Sink in the bedroom, not in the bathroom. Grandmother’s furniture. Pros: Price Small, but decent fitness center Courteous staff Breakfast included Right off the expressway, so convenient for truckers, but definitely just a stay-over if you MUST. To see that this was the highest-rated hotel in the Elizabethtown area just makes me sad for Elizabethtown… Keep on driving to Hershey for more options.

This hotel is in the Hershey and Elizabethtown PA area. It’s very close to Elizabethtown College. So it’s a nice place to stay if you have a child in College there. Holiday Inn really has a good system for easy check in and check out. It’s very fast. These rooms look like they’re newly remodeled. There’s a fridge, microwave, and sink outside the bathroom. Plenty of easy access outlets for charging your devices, and a nice big TV. The only minor complaint is that it would be nice to also have a sink and shelf for clothing in the bathroom. The breakfast was included with the room and was delicious. Overall a very nice, clean, and comfortable Hotel.

For the price of $ 100 we got a clean room and a decent breakfast for 4 people. AND the staff, especially the ladies in the breakfast room were so nice. What a great deal. Only prob is they are pet friendly and my son is allergic, but it wasn’t too bad because I know they cleaned that room well. Wish they would add outside seating somewhere — only one bench.

Typical holiday in express accommodations(and i am reviewing it as such, it is NOT the Ritz!) but the staff were very nice(even going so far as to accommodate a special request,) rooms were clean and breakfast was again typical for this sort of place but kept in good order by the two young ladies taking care of it. Good experience!

Clean rooms. Nice staff. But I couldn’t find the ice machine.

Nice HIE right off the highway, literally right in the middle of Amish Country & Hershey Park. The pictures on their website/TripAdvisor do not display this hotel well at all. They DO have new LG flat screen tvs… the lobby & breakfast area are much nicer than they appear in the pictures… room is fine & very clean. The 2nd floor has ½ smoking so request 1st floor if you are sensitive to the smell(cannot smell any smoke on the 1st floor)… The breakfast is plentiful & fresh(don’t expect anything crazy or delicious; it’s a simple breakfast spread & tastes good) nice that it is included in the price… Front desk team is very quick & they know a lot about the area… Downside: NOPOOL on site… but we went in October so no issue with that…

Get the little things right. And don’t make me feel like I got taken by someone who is looking to shake every last penny out of me. The rooms are nice enough. But for $ 182 a night(with taxes), especially with ample other less-pricey options in the area, I feel like they should get it all right. When we checked in at 11pm, we were tired and wanted to get some sleep. However the keys wouldn’t open the side door(which we were assured they would), so we had to double back thru the lobby with all of our stuff. Not a big deal… but not what I want to deal with when I’m paying the highest price in the area. When we got to our room, only one of the keys worked. Another example is the vending machine. I walked past, assessed the prices and returned with the cash. The water machine said 125 and charged me 150. Not a big deal… except that I brought the right amount of money to get a drink and snack, which I couldn’t now do. Other details… the temperature in the room was set for 65 degrees. When it’s 65 degrees and raining outside, it’s nice to not walk into an ice box. Another thing… not having a current newspaper. What are they… a buck a piece? Especially since there’s nothing in walking distance(and a major story breaking in Colorado the day before). Access to a pool… I guess you have to mention it. But that’s just another thing that makes your guest feel like they’re being played. The people here were good. The rooms were clean. But again, coming in at $ 180+ a night… you gotta elevate yourself above the other places in the area. The little things made this just another hotel, and for this price, you can stay somewhere similar and go get a really nice meal and still have change left over to tip the maid. I dunno. I realize that I’m nit picking. But I tossed down an extra 90+ bucks since it was my wife’s 40th(guess what, we’re just a working couple with two mortgages) over other options, and walked away feeling… used? The execution and the brand were not in agreement: I didn’t feel smart for staying at a Holiday Inn Express… I felt taken.

Severely overpriced. Two night stay just before Labor day(checkout the day before Labor Day) set us back something like $ 170 /night. That’s absolutely ridiculous for this hotel. It’s a good location, but that’s pretty much all this hotel has going for it. The corridors smelled of cigarette smoke, or something else unpleasant, the rooms were ok, kinda tiny, especially the bathroom. Nobody helped us with our luggage. Staff was friendly and the the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was ok, not good, just fine. But I can’t get over the price. It’s just nowhere near worth that.

Clean, new Nothing fancy. Nice and clean. Friendly front desk folks. They offer free continental breakfast, I can’t comment as we slept through it. View out our window was a surprise: threw the blackout curtains open to see an ivy covered wall about 8″ from the window! I would have given 3 stars, but I think the room was pricy at $ 125 for the night.
