Giant Food Stores

Big, clean Giant. New floor plan. Lots of shelves though this store, like all the other Giant locations, are reduced their selection and pushing more Giant brand stuff. Which is a shame because they have the space to sell more than they do. Still and all, as Lancaster County grocery stores go, you could do worse. A lot worse.

We do the majority of our shopping here. We’re vegan and also try to eat as much organic as possible. The selection is great for customers like us. I enjoy many of the «odd» items I can find there, such as stuffed grape leaves, jarred lupini, and non-​dairy yogurt. The prices are reasonable. Most of the cashiers are friendly. I’m grateful I don’t have to travel far to find things I need to maintain a vegan diet.

Very pleased with this Giant. I do the vast majority of my shopping here, because it is close to home, reasonably priced, and has a larger selection of what I want to eat regularly.
What pleased me the most is how effective customer support is. Every once in a while a place needs improvement — Giant is willing to do what they can to fix that.
Two examples: #1. I had written them because a bag of fruit I had gotten was spoiled when I opened it. They contacted me and sent me a gift card for more than the purchase price for my troubles. #2. I had contacted them and asked if they could carry a certain item at this location that they carry at other locations. They wrote back «Certainly», and within a few days — the new item was on the shelves.
