I use to go to this place since 1998. The food is great!!!

I was driving around Elizabeth with a friend when we happened to come upon this place. It looked like a neighborhood place and we found on street parking. (There is a take out area/​entrance that is separate from the main restaurant.)
When we came in on a Sat night it wasn’t crowded and we had our choice of seats. There is a full bar not noisy at all. Beer on tap and in bottles as well as liquor are available. The décor is simple and the place is clean.
They had an extensive menu that ranged from familiar to the «delicacy» like octopus. Note that the half is for one person and the full is for two people. The prices were very reasonable to us. Then we got the food. The half portion is really enough for two people (!). I generally eat all the food on my plate but I had to take home part of my Mixed BBQ — chicken breast, ribs, steak, etc. My friend who had the fish filet had two filets. (The rice that was served was good but you can tell it was minute rice-​type — parboiled).
Then we ordered desert which was good — cheese cake and flan — both for $ 3.50 each. One note though there isn’t cups of coffee just cups of cappuccino/​expresso.
All in all this is a needle in the hay stack when it comes to finding good food at very reasonable prices.

My mom loves this take-​out chicken joint that is just a few blocks from her house (if you visit her, bring her some chicken.) The veggie options are meh, but that aint here to give you veggies. They also have a good selection of desserts, too.

If you’re ever in the mood for tiramisu, come here. It’s always good, and they sell them at a fairly cheap price compared to other places.
