— The Sicilian style pizza I ordered was amazing. I got it with chicken and bacon expecting it to be much smaller than what it was. It was super cheesy, hot and straight up delicious, did I mention HUGE! Their menu is extensive and I would love to try more things that they have to offer. Be careful with arriving at the location. The store sits on a weird corner where a one-way street splits off around the store creating 2 more one ways that go the same direction so if you drive past the spot you’ve got about a 10 minute drive to turn around and come back to it. Lol. Pizza with 2 toppings ran around $ 20.50.

Stopped in here late last night to see what all the hype is about. The service is quick, and personable, and although the food was piping hot, it just did not«wow» me. The steak and cheese was probably one of the worst I’ve had and the pizza was just ok(to me) although my family loved it. My husband enjoyed their fries and he hardly ever eats them. He also enjoyed their carrot cake which I sampled. It was pretty good. I tried the chicken and rice with a side of fresh fruit(pineapples and strawberries). That dish was better in my opinion especially with their signature white sauce and hot sauce. Overall great divey experience but won’t seek them out again. The biggest drawback had to be the restroom. After using it, my appetite overall was ruined. 3 solid stars for great service.

Love this place, especially since it’s halal! I’ve had the buffalo chicken pizza and gyro pizza, both of which are delicious! I’ve also had a chicken pizza roll and grilled chicken sandwich, also both delicious! I do have them add jalapeños to both of those options to give them a little more flavor. Sometimes they forget to add them which annoys me(hence the four stars, happens more often than I’d like) but when they get the order right, they are amazing. Just recently I had them make me a «custom» sandwich because I was craving a «fat girl» from douglass pizza in New Brunswick and it was just too out of the way. And they obliged which was great! So I got my sandwich with chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks and French fries from just around the corner :) Oh and the chicken wings are also on point! The little box of 25(I think) goes quick!

I read the reviews so I checked it out. Parking was completely full. I started off with the fried chicken. And wow. It’s such a clean tasting fried chicken. Not overly greasy, and the meat was amazingly succulent. Its one of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Went for the famous chicken over rice after. It tasted and looked like a homemade meal, but in a good way. It was great. I can see why everybody comes here! Also, the staff was very friendly. Courteous and helpful. The guy let me eat first before I paid since I was dining in with another friend. Nice little touch.

Gyro Platter with rice salad and drink $ 9.90 with tax. It was HUGE! Lots of meat and rice. I could not quite finish it off. I would definitely get this again. Their Gyro sauce is awesome as well.

Worth the hassle. Zero atmosphere. Little parking. Not comfy to eat inside. BUTTTTTT … Need a quick snack near the airport? Fabulous! I hate to admit it … The skin on the fried chicken tasted like candy! Pizza wasn’t bad, either!

I am from NY and altho the prices are nothing like a NY «chicken spot» the food is pretty good. I gave 5 stars because i like halal style rice over chicken but the chicken crispy(they used to make it around my house in the bronx but the place went out of business) these guys will happily do it for me.

I had 15 pieces of hot wings and costs about $ 12 and bottled coke for $ 1.75. Nice and affordable price!

Been here a couple times. Sometimes when staying at the Newark Hilton other times grabbing a meal before a flight. They have a little bit of everything here. I usually get either a gyro or pizza. Both are always great. Use the map it can be hard to find.

I came here right off the airplane from the Newark airport and found this little place thanks to the locals Unilocal reviews. It definitely holds true to its Unilocal reputation. The fried chicken is excellent, great flavor and made to order. Fast and fresh! We ordered 8 pieces of fried chicken, two slices of pepperoni pizza, Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, biscuits and two bean pies for $ 24(not bad at all!!) The pizzas, chicken, and bean pies were well worth it. The sides though, I could do without those next time. The staff was super nice and very friendly. He made us feel like a regulars. There were customers flooding this place the whole time we were there. Obviously, it’s a cherished little spot to the locals. My husband loved it too. Seating is sparse but we made it possible to sit our family of 5 together. Parking is tricky: most are 15 min parking limits so we parked on the street. The bathroom is disgusting but the restaurant itself is well kept and clean. As busy as they were, an employee came to clean our table right away when we took over after previous guests. I really appreciated that. I look forward to coming again on our way back home. Thanks for the good eats!

Ahhhhh yes! I i get to review my all times favorite chicken shack. Now for anyone who knows this area we have many chicken shacks to choose from. This one is tops in my book! —-Food:4. Lots of choices, its like a pizzeria but with lots more than jus«ïtalian» selections. They have a lil bit of everything. beef patties with cheese are the best — tons of cheese in every bit. That’s how i like it– everyone is different. Fried chicken gets two thumbs up. —-Price:3. For a chicken shack — average. —-Atmosphere:3. Ok. Not kept up with 100%. but they do have some parking spaces off the street and some outdoor seating, that has to count for something. Bathroom need some more work although you can tell they try — but most people dont eat in here anyway. No liquor, no table service. Like fast food but more homemade? Makes sense?! LoL. Just try it yourself, especially if your craving some unhealthy drunk food. Haha!

Now, this isn’t the exact place I’ve been to, but with the same restaurant name. Whatever. About NY Fried Chicken«The Ultimate Taste», despite being in New Jersey, somebody went there and got food for me. OK? I tried some of their fried chicken and french fries to see how it goes. When tasted it, «It’s good! It’s really really really good!» They looked like and tasted like chicken wings, but they were fried. As for the french fries, they weren’t bad either, but I still liked McDonald’s fries better. We’ll have to give them a try again, so for now, it’s a 4 star rating. Worth going.

I like this place better than a Burger King or Checkers or Sonic. So many options and they prepare everything quickly. I come here pretty often and typically get the gyro’s, chicken, sandwiches or breakfast options. The guys are so nice and I often spend my time waiting chatting with them. Prices are great and they do pretty well with portions for the value. Parking is a little frustrating, the lot is pretty tiny and street parking is scarce. Crafty maneuvering is needed to claim your space.

For a fast food joint this place is the bomb. Great prices, serving sizes and good customer service. It’s open 24⁄7 which is great. The neighborhood and some of the customers look sketchy, but you should be fine. I didn’t try their desserts so I can’t say what they’re like.
