*3.75 stars* This Starbucks is located inside the LA Air Force Base, so you would need a CAC card or visitor pass to get in. If you work here, it’s the best thing since sliced bread; to have coffee at your convenience within a 2 minute walk? Uh, yes please! BUT as you expected, the line can get extremely long since it’s listed inside the workplace. I’d love to give this Starbucks 5 stars due to a couple outstanding baristas that work there, but I’ve had too many bad experiences with the other ones. For the good ones, they work fast to get your drink and even remember the frequent goers’ drinks. But for the others, they just don’t seem to be in a rush, even when they line is out the door. In the end though, can’t beat the convenience! Oh yeah, sbux rewards not accepted here.

The slowest Starbucks I have ever been to! With one person ahead of me, it took 20 minutes for 1 grande caramel macchiato and 1 tall mocha. I almost walked out. Barista didn’t seem to know what she was doing. Never again!

Not bad, but not great. THISISTHELAAFB Starbucks, so don’t get it confused with the Sbux in the Plaza El Segundo just 1.5 mi away. — The staff is a little slow, be prepared. — The lines of Base workers needing coffee can get rather long, be advised. — The availability of some syrups and non-standard milks may vary, you’ve been warned. — The consistency of some beverages, and especially milk temperatures may not be great. — The prices are a few cents lower than normal Starbucks being that it is DoD subsidized. — There’s an eatery full of horrible food choices in the same Base Exchange plaza. — There’s TONS of parking, IF you can access an AFB Facility with your CaC card or Military ID. Great perk if you work here or are visiting the SMC Center on business. Need to work on their barista techniques, but it’s not bad. You can use Starbucks gift cards, and if the punch in the numbers manually can accrue stars for Sbux purchases. ENJOY people!!!

I just walked out WITHOUT coffee!!! There were two people in line and three employees. The three ladies behind the counter were busy watching videos on a cell phone and after 10 minutes waiting to order, I had to leave. I’ve never seen such rude customer service at a Starbucks. If you need coffee in a reasonable(10 – 15 minutes) amount of time, do not go here.

Slowest Starbucks ever but it’s a nice place to get away from work on your break when you’re at the base. Please take advantage of their soy and almond and coconut milk it’s much better tasting

This Starbucks is located on LAAFB so that’s an automatic win for me. I’ve been to Starbucks in Hawaii, Utah, Arizona, Las Vegas, Iloilo in the Philippines and so many other places. Starbucks is Starbucks. The drinks are pretty consistent anywhere you go. If you don’t like coffee, tea or dessert in a cup(Frappuccino) then this isn’t the place for you.

Just your typical Starbucks. Staff is friendly and treat you like a regular, enough to even remember your order. Only oatmeal and pastries are served here. Very convenient for those working at Los Angeles Air Force Base, but not accessible to the general public.

The staff here are so friendly and if you become a regular, they will ALWAYS remember your name and drink of choice. Amazing memories! Always smiling, always helpful. Only downside is a lot of people know this and the line gets long at times

Pros: It’s on base, so it’s convenient. Cons: It’s understaffed, so REALLY slow. The staff isn’t well trained, and will routinely take shortcuts on their work(like using whatever milk is out — which sucks when it’s soy.) I don’t have grandiose expectations — it’s a Starbucks franchise(not a corporate store) so you can only expect so much. Add the fact that it’s on base and you quickly realize that their available employee pool is lower since they have to be allowed on base. But even with allowances for that, the service is below what I would expect.

I like this starbucks, it’s not the best but they prepare the drinks very fast. It’s surrounded by businesses and I order decaf cinammon dolce latte with nonfat milk and two pumps of syrup so I consider myself high maintenace but they still manage to get it right and super fast so more power to them.

Its a starbucks, not a palace. So I roamed in here for some morning hot chocolate. Decided to get a snack box, and while waiting for my drink I hear the girls. «oh when I was in high school we used to go behind the bleechers» serious? I and other patrons needs to hear this? Theres the 1 girl who makes all the drinks who works real hard. Then theres the 2 other ones, 1 to clean(who would rather lean) and the other who just takes money. At 5am with 3 people in this place for coffe /whatever do you really need 3 employees? — 1 star for jibber jabber — 1 star for excessive labor /professionalism You get 3 stars STARBUCKS. which is like a «C-» grade. By the way some of the tables were still dirty, so why even have the cleaning girl there.

This is a nice small Starbucks located into the Exchange lobby. They do a pretty good job with the drinks and even though it’s small, they seem to be equip to make the drink you expect. If you come often enough, they start to remember you and what you like to order. No complaints.

I come here because it’s easy to get to. I could walk here. It’s located on an Air Force Base, so it’s not really open for everyone. They drinks are usually good. They make the lattes well. But, not the frappuccinos. They’re in the Base Exchange, but they now accept Starbucks gift cards. However, you not sure if you get the perks you would get if you were to go to a regular Starbucks if your gift card was registered. Free Wifi

It’s a small Starbucks in the BX Food Court. Nothing spectacular.
