This place is awesome. It’s like a Chipotle but more authentic and better ingredients. This place is small, granted but it’s a take out place, hello? I came in at 10AM on the dot on a Tuesday morning and they had all fresh ingredients ready to go. A huge freshly cooked batch of Spanish and Cilantro rice, black beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, etc. They even have this spicy chicken that you can get which is simmering in this orangish brown DELICIOUS sauce. Try it, I guarantee you’ll love it! Come here and try this place!!!

I do like the food, but today was the third day in the last month that I’ve gone and they don’t have steak and are making no attempts to make more. Also the customer service is subpar. I don’t see this place staying in business long unless they fix the issues. What kind of Mexican food place doesn’t have steak.lol.

Completely RIPOFF do go there the taste is not that good and it is very expensive, that is why they go our of business I understand that they have to pay employees and rent but they are not gonna make the money overcharging people. I think there’s better places to eat for the money you money I am sorry cilantro you are out of my list

That’s terrible food! The food was absolutely freezing, tasteless and very expensive for what they offer. It took a long time to serve the food. The same person prepares the food and also is the cashier. We did not eat the food and ended up throwing away of how awful it was. I would not go there even if I had really hungry. They know nothing of true Mexican food.

I went here because my sister suggested it to me & it was great. They have 2 rice options, regular Spanish rice & cilantro lime rice, which is awesome because not many Mexican restaurants offer cilantro rice. it also tastes amazing! They have quite a few meat options, however not all meat options are their daily. A lot of great add ons too but may be for an extra cost. This place reminds me of Qdoba & chipotle, except it is more traditional Mexican & either at equal or slight higher cost, but it makes up for it because the portions they give are huge! Very nice people working their as well, seems family owned. Convenient location near LAX. 5 stars because i had a great experience plus great food! try it!!! Also, So good for catering. I have catered a few family parties from here.

Ok. I saw how bad this place was getting beaten up and I had to go five stars to counteract at least one of the people who went to this place with their panties on backwards. So first. Don’t eat here. Order your food. Get your. Go somewhere ELSE and eat your food. I get their chicken salad and it’s two complets lunches for me which makes it quite a deal. Again. Not high dining but still good food.

AMAZINGFOOD!!! Simple, yummy Mexican fast-food! This place is small and there’s no seating but you can quickly go in and quickly come out with delicious food. They have everything you can think of on the menu. The staff is extremely nice especially the woman. She is so sweet! Good food, good staff. Now stop reading and go try it! :)

I’ve been coming here for about a year now. And, up until this past Friday, I’ve have not had a bad experience. However, what happened to me on March 14, 2014 will prevent me from ever stepping foot in there again. I was about to buy a chicken burrito bowl when I asked on the spur of the moment to make it a mixed meat bowl. The man behind the counter(I didn’t get his name) put the steak in the bowl & presided to charge me for a steak bowl with extra meat. When I told him that the transaction was incorrect, he tried to tell me that the chicken portion was different than the steak portion. Ummmm, what? I didn’t understand that and when he refused to rectify the situation to my satisfaction(mind you I’ve been in this place MANY times before & he’s helped me before!), I left. On the way out I SPECIFICALLY asked him, «Don’t charge me because I haven’t signed the transaction slip». I found out today that he indeed DID put the transaction through for the incorrect amount. Heck no!!! I called BoA & had the amount refunded to me. So, if he can do this to a person that has been there since the place was known by another name, imagine what could happen to you! I believe that putting your name on a review if you truly mean what you are saying. Well, here it is! Buyer beware!!!

There’s no seating anywhere here. There is at the Westchester location and since this used to be Pachanga and it had bar style seating prior, that means they literally had to take it out via management decision. Seriously? Who cares about the taste of the food or its quality if you can’t even sit down to enjoy it?

so you remove the salsa bar and replace it with a soda frig? Then you paint the place puke greenish yellow? No pictures on the wall. Food sucks. Only thing working for this place is the location for LAX employees or people that just do not know any better. Sick.

I like their food, but these guys really know how to make you feel not-welcome. Drab faces, with attitude, no smile ever(been there couple of times). I feel as if I have caused them an inconvenience by walking into their restaurant. I don’t think I’ll go there again. Plus the restaurant is congested and kinda filthy, over flowing trash etc.

I guess CIlantro would be Chipotle’s competitor? Not in my opinion. I actually felt Cilantro was more authentic mexican food, however that doesn’t mean it tasted better. Chipotle is more catered to Americans, which is probably why it tastes so good. Cilantro has a variety of ingredients to choose from, they just don’t seem as fresh or clean as Chiptole. I would come back because it’s very filling and decently priced, but I would definitely pick Chipotle first.

Let me start off by saying that this place is definitely better than the Pachanga that used to be here. That having been said, it is not good Mexican food. The shredded beef was way too salty and way too spicy and tasted like it was full of chili powder which made my husband’s burrito bowl taste like a bowl of super spicy chili which is not the taste you’d expect from Mexican food. I had a hard shell taco and did appreciate that they use filet as their steak meat and that it was very tender. I was also happy with the fact that they have black olives as a topping. The hard shell was bubbly and crunchy… very tasty. Salsas were also very good… particularly the light green one(very spicy though). I also found the prices to be a little high.

This store used to be Pachanga Grill, which was not that great, so I’m glad to see something new in this plaza. Came here on a Saturday night and ordered the 3 crunchy taco plate that was around $ 8. I chose the spicy shredded beef filling and topped it off with the traditional pico de gallo, sour cream, lettuce and cheese. The crunchy shell was great, not fast-food-hard that it could cut your mouth after one bite. It was light and airy, just the way I like it. Toppings were fresh, but the lettuce could have been cut into smaller sizes. The spicy shredded beef was flavorful, but I thought it was a tad too salty. I liked that the server gave me a generous amount of filling and toppings… awesome! I liked the addition of chips to my meal too. It seemed to be made of the same tortilla as the shell. The avocado salsa had a great kick to it. It is safe to say that I will be back!

Wow. Where do I start. All the food was straight from the can. You could not taste the corn salsa, the rice, the beans, the meat over the spice… not«one layer of flavor» stood on its own. Flavors are to be symbiotic, complimentary. It was a tasteless over priced mass. I am giving one star because I had too. No bueno. Btw, all of us had«stomach problems» the next day. no bueno!

Not Bad. Take out only. Had 1 spicy pork taco &1 spicy beef taco, came with a little bit of rice & beans. Nice selection of choices to make your burritos & tacos. Mine came to $ 7.91. The board said $ 2.45 per taco, would have preferred for them to stick with that price instead of giving me a little rice & beans for almost $ 3. Of the two tacos, I thought the beef was the best and would probably come back for that again. Nice addition to the area.
