My husband and I are both so obsessed with this place! By far the best Greek in El Paso. My husband Always gets the gyro platter and I like just about anything but I could just eat their fresh pita with tzatziki sauce and be content lol

The food in this unassuming restaurant is surprisingly good, maybe excellent. Do not miss it.

I kept coming back with that groupon deal($ 17 worth of $ 32). Tasty Greek food, especially hummus, nice and cozy place for dinner.

First time here. After reading about this specific Zinos, via Unilocal.I had to indulge my craving for a gyro. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is very courteous. Unfortunately, it was my mistake that I ordered the wrong item, but it was the gyro platter, not the typical gyro I am used; e.g., the rolled up pita, vice cut into pieces. Overall, it was fantastic. Definitely would come here again, just need to move to the Westside.

Had the gyros sandwich, my friend had a falafel burger. The pita was perfect. Warm, chewy, and soft, it was absolutely delicious! We also started with a hummus, which was good as well. The tzatziki sauce is some of the best I’ve had. Prices were a bit steep, around 7 dollars for the sandwich alone, and another 2 dollars for fries.(Which were also amazing and worth it, not gonna lie) and service was a bit choppy, we had to wait for a very long time to get our check and pay. It was understandable however, as there was only one server for the whole place. The food spoke for itself, and I will likely come back to try some more of the menu.

Honestly the food was great! The staff was friendly. I everything we tasted from the menu was excellent. I ordered a gyro, I used to eat them all the time back home, the gyro at Zino’s tasted just as good as the ones I’m accustomed to. I also picked off the meal that comes with the chicken kabob, lamb kabob and basmati rice and everything on that plate was delicious as well. The atmosphere is very family friendly & the staff seem to be passionate about the place as well. It was a great experience and I’d recommend it to anyone.

Not bad for El Paso! I love Greek food! Just moved here from the bay area where there are lots of greek/Mediterranean restaurants. Can’t go wrong with the chicken kabobs and yellow rice!

LOVE this place. I come at least once every time I’m in town. I always get the gyro sandwich and the meat is great, tomatoes fresh, and plenty of tzatziki on top! Only reason I didn’t put 5 stars is because sometimes the service can be a little spotty… But the food is fantastic for lunch or dinner any day of the week!

SOGOOD!!! Had their gyro sandwich and it was just awesome! The gyro meat was so flavorful… it totally made the sandwich. I asked for a side of their Zino’s special fries, which they said were addicting. I loved the sandwich completely, but the special fries were not so special. I thought the fries were a bit ordinary… guess I was over-hyped about it! We also had their falafel appetizer and it was amazing! I don’t really order and eat falafel, but I’m so glad we did this time around. I also got to taste their kid’s mac and cheese and wow I was floored on how good it was! It was creamy and had so much sauce… sooo good! That’s my type of mac and cheese. If I was craving for some I would honestly just go here. Odd being that this place is mainly Mediterranean cuisine! Lastly, we had both the chocolate baklava and the galatoboureko, which is a Greek custard cake. Both came out warm and fresh, thus a perfect touch. I have to say the custard cake was better than the chocolate baklava for sure. It was not too sweet and the texture was like bread pudding. So delectable! I would totally recommend going here for some delicious and comforting Greek cuisine!

Update: I ate in at Zinos this time since I was craving their gyro. Service was slow up front as there was one waitress and the restaurant was doing pretty brisk business for a sunday afternoon. After about 10 – 15 minutes I got my drink order in and my food. Based on the the fact there was only one waitress I assumed food would take a while to come out. I was in for a surprise as the food(all of it at once sadly) came out very quickly. I ordered their dolmades, pita and hummus, and their gyro(spoiler alert: I had left overs). The food was just as I remembered it from the first time. Delicious and fresh. Sadly, that also means the dolmades also fell apart too easily in my book. They taste great but almost immediately fell apart. This time i tried the hummus and pita and they were pretty good. Not gonna blow you away but it hit the spot. Zinos is yet another surprising high quality mediterranean restaurant in El Paso. Big fan! — — — Got food to go on a friday night. Didn’t take any photos cause I was consuming food in a dark theatre(shhh don’t tell the theatre you know you guys do it too.). Anyways, called the order in and asked them to have it ready by 830. I got there at 815 and it was already packaged up and ready for pick up(i figured it might happen since they close at 9 pm). Zino’s is a tiny little restaurant. Definitely a little cramped from what I could tell. Lots of little tables with everyone sitting fairly close to each other. The restaurant was doing brisk business though. I ordered their falafel, lamb/beef gyro, and dolmades. The gryo is perfection. The meat sweet and flavorful and a good amount of it. It had thick slices of tomato and spinach. The falafel was good(excellent spice flavor) but was lukewarm which kind of annoyed me. The dolmades were delicious. My only complaint is that they fell apart fairly easily. Their yogurt sauce was very good. I wasn’t as big a fan of their darker sauce. I would definitely head back to try their food at the restaurant.

Just tried the shrimp saganaki and it was AWESOME and you can’t go wrong with a gyro with tabuli salad. Mmmmm mmmmm. Was at their Montana by Robert E Lee street. Great job to all the staff.

Love love love this new find for us while visiting in El Paso. Two meals here in two days. Loved the braised ribs special last night. The hummus and falafel were great too. Others enjoyed the soups snd salads and other menu items. The service was great. And they got us in and out with speed so we could catch a movie.

From out of town, and I happened to be on the right side of town to catch this awesome place for lunch today. Glad I did! The gyro sandwich and side of rice was delicious! Friendly staff and clean dining room.

Meat-lover’s entrée. Perfect for two. Half chicken kabob(succulent seasoning), half lamb kabob(cooked to perfection), gyro meat with rice and Athenian side salad. Excellent! I’ve eaten in Mediterranean diners in New York, Illinois, Arizona, Jersey, and Houston— Zino’s beats them all. Servers and chefs make you feel right at home. Opa!

Its always refreshing when each time you go into this place and the owner is there talking to all the customers. He takes great pride being the only greek restaurant in El Paso. The food is great. I ordered the hummus for an app and it was more than I could finish. The fries are to die for. Wish I could of taken my leftovers but I am here for business so they would of got ruined sitting in my car all day.

Bought the groupon for this place mainly bec of the reviews so off we went. Got there, was greeted right away then seated. The place is clean I guess bec it’s still pretty new. Smelled really good– I’m deff hungry! I ordered their sampler plate(their menu is not updated online and I can’t remember their actual names) it had salad which was good and fresh; a pasta(?) that had béchamel sauce and potatoes– it’s was a little bland; snakopita– it was burnt!!! Burnt!!!; and something else I couldn’t remember because the food did not leave any impression at all. My hubby ordered the meat sampler(again I can’t remember their actual names). He said it was all okay. I had a chance to taste the chicken– it was bland; the gyro meat– has some flavor but the texture was a little off. We also ordered a side of fries which were cooked perfectly but the park cheese tastes old and artificial be a it didn’t melt in the hot fries. It just stayed there like grainy powder. Oh and their famous sauce to drop the fries is? Meh! I was deeply disappointed as this place is not even close to being sub par.

Awesome food and great portions. My husband loves Greek food and he loved Zinos. The waitress we had is extremely friendly and service was quick. I have been there for lunch with a friend and just went with my husband for dinner. I can’t wait to go back! BTW, the Zino fries and sauce are beyond amazing!!!

I love that they opened up one restaurant at the eastside. It is easily accessible from Ft. Bliss and from the eastside(just take Montana). We came with a group of 5 at lunch time and they reserved a table for us which was really nice because it was packed in there! We didn’t have to wait long for our food at all, and it was delicious! Two weeks ago, I ordered the Gyros sandwich and today, I got the same because it’s so filling, even though you might think it’s just a sandwich. But they pack it with all the goodies, so let’s with what’s inside: fresh and crisp lettuce, tomato, onions, yogurt garlic sauce and gyros meat. And the meat is perfect! It’s juicy and has lots of flavor to it. The bread is typical pita bread and really yummi. It’s so good, that we orders two baskets of pita bread with hummus(you have to try their hummus!!!) and tzatziki(cucumber garlic yogurt). Really good! I’m a fan! Out waitress was also really friendly! One of my friends found a hair in her food(ok, not great but sh! t happens) and they brought her a whole new plate including a new salad and then her food was on the house! This is what I call«customer satisfaction»! And the waitress stayed nice the whole time although I’m sure a table of 5 German girls(and we germans love to take our time when we sit together and eat — Uhm, and talk) would annoy ang waitress after a while. But she stayed nice and also asked us frequently if we need anything else. Oh and btw: they offer military discount(10%).
