I prefer this location over the Gateway one. Texas Roundhouse is probably the best value for your money with the yummy rolls and free peanuts. We love their ranch! Good food over all.

First off food was 5 Stars… service was 2.5 I’m being nice more like a 1.8 stars. Was a group of 3 of us, food was awesome I had the 12oz Ribeye medium with mash, and a side salad. we were sat in the bar area, and our server/bartender she was blond haired. don’t remember her name, got our drinks. and food order, and never really checked up on us again till after we finished our entrees. usually you check up on customers after a few minutes of getting their dinner. There might have been a lot going on it was busy, but she also gave off this vibe she wasn’t happy and didn’t really want to wait on us. Overall, I’ll be back, place serves great food, service was not that great, the girl needs to smile more, looked like she was ready to slit someone’s throat.

Wings came out after meal and pork chop was raw. They recooked the same piece rather than start a new one and then it was dry. Other than that it was good.

Excellent service, economically satisfying. Large portions for the price. The server kept my Diet Coke filled without me once having to ask. Place was packed but speed of service was impressive. Chicken fried steak was tasty and freshly made.

Yes, it’s our spot when we are on base! Love that it sometimes less crowded than the one on the east side. The people are always friendly! Why four stars? I come often there really isn’t any consistency. The food of course always taste the same. I always ask for them to charcoal my steak(yes, I know, so yucky) so my food is always burned and perfect the way I like. What is not always on point is the bread. The bread, is of course to die for. But I’ve been in a hand full of times where the bread is cold. It’s not good cold. Not while you’re there. My suggestion as a customer is to ask for hot bread. My suggestion for the management, give that bread sitting under the Lamps to people who are there. Don’t be stingy. Other than that… I love this place. Not your Cattleman’s or STK but for El Paso… It’s good!

Always really good food and service… sometimes the wait can be long. I really like the rolls with their warm cinnamon butter yum.

I don’t normally choose Texas Roadhouse when my wallet and myself are in the mood for steak. However Texas Roadhouse has a little more character than most other steakhouses in El Paso. You can really feel the Texas atmosphere here mainly because of the décor which is 100% Texas. The service is really great here. Every staff member greets you no matter if they are serving you or not. Our waitress was very nice and she was always around when we needed something even though it was a busy night and we were a table of 8. The thing that kills me the most is the appetizer bread. Why would you do this to us?! The rolls are good and the butter spread is delicious. Try to go easy on the rolls guys. I ordered a tall Sam Adams which was perfectly cold. My cut of choice was the New York strip with a side of mashed potatoes and corn. The steak was cooked perfectly rare and the sides were comfort food at its best. Texas Roadhouse is definitely a louder atmosphere for a steakhouse and their beer and margarita specials are great. Definitely a close experience to classic Texas western steak dinner.

How many girls can ignore you in under a minute? If you want the answer to that question, walk into Texas Roadhouse. There were four girls at the hostess stand, no one in front of me and they all did their best to avert looking my direction. Then, because I didn’t want to sit at the bar(I eat alone most times as I travel for work — I get asked that a lot) I got a sigh of exasperation and told I would have to wait. After a few minutes I was seated. Evidently I looked lonely as they sat me at a long table with other people at it. Wtf? No menus. Waitresses keep leaning over the table to yell to one another. Why don’t I leave? Stephanie introduces herself, takes my drink order and actually makes me feel welcome. Ok, I’ll see what happens. Maybe the front desk help are just rude and inconsiderate. Oh good. Everything else went really well. The steak was perfect. It was just the front help that wasn’t.

Yes I love this place. It has always been very consistent in providing great service and food quality. I recently enjoyed the fried catfish, green beans and mash potatoes and gravy. I was not disappointment and for $ 10.99 I was very pleased. Only issue I have is the level of noise in this place. I find it difficult to maintain a conversation at my own table.

Five stars for Brooke, our outstanding waitress. The service was fast and the environment was comfortable. Our waitress was awesome and on top of things… We kept adding more people to our booth and she was very good about it. She had a great attitude!

Food was great, service exceptional, great energy in the place… BUT, they should rename it «Roadhouse» and have the Texas name removed since they didn’t have Shiner Bach on tap ! No Texas beers. They’re like any other corporate run restaurant. Disappointing. Come on guys, you gotta know this is a basic requirement.

«Consistently very good» Bread and brown sugar butter is the best around like eating dessert before the meal. Steaks are almost always just right, however they could use a little seasoning. Apple dessert is wonderful, sides are tasty especially the sweet potato with everything on it. Service is consistently very good.

I’m. Not a big fan of big chain restaurants, but they make a decent Steak for the price. The little bread they but on the table is delicious. I don’t give them more stars because there are better steaks in town

On the El Paso Texas Roadhouse scale, it goes: Eastside TR, this TR, then Fort Bliss TR. Yes, the Eastside one is my favorite because they always seem to be overly happy to serve me a steak and generally just make it a full blown experience… but the Westside TR is a close runner-up. On the few occasions that I’ve been to this particular TR, it’s always pleasant, but sometimes I feel forgotten. But every once in a blue moon, I get a spectacular server that goes above and beyond and makes substitutions to things that are unheard of and always has a smile and some engaging conversation focused around steak and how much I love it. Once in a blue moon. I really haven’t had anything at TR that I don’t like, but I stick to the steaks. Medium. And have them smothered and covered in onions and mushrooms. Occasionally at the other locations I’ll also add blue cheese and ask for a side of the steak seasoning that I throw onto my potatoes and corn, but I haven’t done that at this one yet. It’s coming though, I’m sure. One thing you should know when going to any TR, but especially this one. It’s everyone’s birthday. Everyone’s. Which means it’s actually no one’s birthday, but everyone around you is lying and saying there’s a birthday at their table so they can embarrass the crap out of one of their unsuspecting friends and forcing them onto the saddle. This TR seems to try to weed out the liars because I only ever see them bring out the saddle for tables with presents actually visible. You’ll still hear their version of Happy Birthday eight times during your meal and you’ll probably be enticed to clap along. You’ve been warned. Overall, service is okay, food is great, and the place is pretty clean. Oh and it’s a great place to catch a game.

We are giving it four stars for the steak and service. It was our first time going to the Texas Roadhouse. The Management staff and servers were very attentive. We ordered the blossom appetizer and it wasn’t cooked all the way so we can’t give a full review for it. The Flavor was decent but we couldn’t really eat it very well. When we told our server about the blossom, she took it off of the check. My husband I ordered the 6 ounce US sirloin and it was one of the best steaks I had ever had. We got them smothered in mushrooms and the flavor was delicious. My husband thought that there should’ve been more beers on tap. The beer selection was very basic. All things considered we definitely would eat there again.

I decided to try out this chain’s westside location and was highly pleased as well. There weren’t that many patrons since it was Super Bowl Sunday, so the ambiance was not as loud as it typically is at this place on weekends. As always, our waitress was very nice and kept an eye on us at all times, asking if we wanted refills constantly. Bread was amazing and food was very well cooked and tasted heavenly. The only thing my partner complained about was a funny smell, and the girl who brought us our food was not as courteous as our actual waitress. Also, we noticed they charge for refills for flavored iced teas(I don’t know if this happens if you order regular tea). Other than that it was once again a pleasant lunch experience for my partner and me.

Great warm welcome, hostess Bri was super friendly and chatted us up about the delicious food. Server was also friendly and made excellent recommendations and suggestions on the food choices, not at all pushy and went out of her way to make sure we were more than just happy with our meal. So happy our last meal in El Paso was wonderful. We will come back for the appetizer. Thank you for a lovely evening and Texan farewell!
