Tacos Chinampa

Such great service! The food is good and the salsa is some of my favorites.
Honestly the enchiladas are alight.
Flautas are alright too.
Okay their saving grace is the chips and salsa.
I didn’t try the tacos because I don’t like the meat they have in them and I don’t know enough Spanish to ask if I order a different meat.
Anyway, great service.

Prices were low, taste was ok not great, service could’ve been a lot better. This place is usually good but I guess they were having an off day. Our waiter took our drink order but didn’t come back. His coworkers had to remind him that we were waiting. After that things started to get better. The food arrived quickly but everything was far too salty for our taste. There are other chinampas in town. We might go to those before returning to this one.

Have tried this place a couple times. One of the better east side Mexican restaurants, food wise. Service left much to be desired; after food was dropped off our waitress never returned to refill drinks. Despite this I would still have left a decent review but I was overcharged almost $ 10 at the register. Would have complained but there were customers behind me in line.

Great tacos, great tasting Mexican food. The service is always great! I usually always have the same server and he always stays on top on refills, wether it’s drinks or salsa.

This place is a good establishment to get some good Mexican food. The server was nice and professional and was willing to make sure we were satisfied. The place is a good size and has light Mexican music playing in the background.
When we were seated, they gave us a basket of tostada chips with a variety of salsas. My favorite was the brown looking one, I don’t have the knowledge of the name, it was smoky, flavorful, not too spicy and delicious.
We were then treated with frijoles charros which were good in of itself. I think my favorite thing about them was the broth. It was red, had some tomato flavor, and a tad bit of spices.
I decided to order a burrito de barbacoa. The meat was juicy and tender. They had toppings of cilantro, onion, radish, and limes on the side of it. I did think that it was too much but that is fine with me. My complaint has to be that I’m not a big fan of eating the fat of the barbacoa. When I found out some of it was in there I just took it out and continued eating it.
In conclusion, the food is good and the service is great. I would recommend anyone to try this place at least once.

Great food! Reasonable prices! If you get the comics corrida it comes with plenty of good and a side of Caldo de Rez. Have tried the tacos, enchiladas and quesadillas. All good. Have come back a few times too.

The menudo is delicious, not watered down red chile, their six pack of tacos are awesome, great place for breakfast with good mexican breakfast menu variations. Service was quick and place was very clean with quiet mexican music in the background.

Best tacos ever. Great Food and service, tacos are Awesome. Recommend «Parrillada». VIP special is great, works well with menu.
