I totally dig their«sporkness» here. Very different type of food, not sure what I was going to order. As I was glancing at their menu I noticed a menu item called the«Oink Fries» and ordered. So here is what it was. A bowl of fries with mustard, pork and a fried egg on top. First of all it doesn’t sound that good but it sure smelled really good and tasted unbelievably good! I am a fan and will come back soon!!!

Let’s seeeeee, where to beginnnn… This food truck is… AWESOME. I never thought I would give a food truck 5 stars, but Spork Urban Food is just… awesome! I came here the other night because a fellow Unilocaler was raving about it and I wasn’t disappointed. The food truck itself is nothing special. It looks a bit old and it has a few bumps, scrapes and bruises but the food that the cooks… no no no… the chefs produced was nothing short of a-ma-zing. I got the drunken burger and«phở king pozole» and they were equally fantastic and delicious. The drunken burger has a delicious homemade meat patty with a special brisket placed on top — topped off with a delicious aioli sauce. Their fries that come with the burgers are incredible as well. I don’t know how they made parmesan fries taste so good, but I’m glad they figured out a way — lol. The phở was pretty good as well. Though not your traditional phở(look up my guide to eating phở in my Phở Tre Bien review) it was still pretty dang good. The broth is what sold me on it. Most places will just give you a very basic beef broth. But one of the owners(who is a suuuuper nice guy) told us about how they had been adding and reducing the broth since 11 am that morning. There’s a lot of preparation, heart, and soul that goes into their food and considering its just a food truck makes it that much more impressive. I’ll definitely be back… I took a bite of my fellow Unilocaler’s «Spork Sandwich» and that may be my favorite thing in the world right now. =P

HOLY F**KINGCOW!!! I have NEVER… in my entire life… LOVED something off a food-truck as much as I f**king love what comes off Spork Urban Food! Seriously, WTF?!? Why is it so damn good?!? Scratch that… HOW is it so damn good?!? The best decision you can make in life is to follow SUF on Facebook( ), hunt them down, and order one of everything! So far I’ve had the sliders, Phở King Posole, Spork Sandwich, Bruno’s Waffles, Parmesan fries and cucumber water. It is physically impossible for me to pick my favorite. Let me put it this way, I ran into SUF on Mesa in a parking lot across from Fudge-n-More and only ordered the sliders and Phở King Posole. Later that night, I hunted them down again at Llyod’s Pub because I needed more. For $ 15 you can leave with two meals with sodas or cucumber water. And you’re gonna be full. And it’s gonna look incredible. And you’re gonna love it. That’s seriously unheard of. The guys that run/own SUF food-truck are pretty freaking awesome too. They came to me, told me about the menu, answered all my questions, took my order and then still made sure I was happy with everything that came out. There’s a very small wait for the food(only so much can be prepped beforehand), but they kept me posted on the wait time even though it was totally unnecessary because it really wasn’t that long of a wait. Points for that. All around cool guys. Let me just go ahead and dissect my foodie experience(s) with SUF for you. The Sliders: Three braised brisket(I believe it was brisket… I could be wrong) sliders that were all completely different, but completely delicious with a side of Parmesan fries. I can’t really walk you through the sliders individually because they all had their own flavors. Sweet, pickled, sauced. They aren’t always on the menu, but if you ever have the opportunity to order them… do it! The Parmesan fries are just simple margarita fries with Parmesan and seasonings, but are really fricken good(especially with their house Curry Ketchup)! Phở King Posole: First off… I love the name. If you haven’t caught it yet, say it out loud a few times(remember phở is pronounced ‘fa’). The awesome SUF guy’s described the Phở King Posole by saying, «It’s like phở, It’s like posole, it’s both!» So there’s no hominy in this phở, but the broth is a combo of a typical phở broth and a posole broth. It gives it a heat that I’ve never been able to achieve in phở without the help of Siracha(oh and btw, they make their own Siracha if you want that too). A thin slice of meat(I think brisket) is layered on top and the whole dish is chalked full of fresh veggies(snow peas, broccoli, cilantro and more) with noodles. This was seriously my favorite phở I’ve ever had. Even the broth was finished. Spork Sandwich: Chicken fried brisket! My reaction to my first bite was, «Oh shizzz, this is amazeballs!!!» Toasted bread. Something pickled. A sauce. I love this sandwich so hard! This comes with a side as well so again I got the Parmesan fries. On point, again. The Spork Sandwich is a must! A must! Bruno’s Waffles: Fruity, chocolatey, sweet goodness. The waffle itself isn’t too sweet, so the bursts of chocolate chips are welcomed. The whole waffle is coated in a raspberry sauce that somehow meshes with the chocolate chip waffles perfectly and laid on top of a bed of fruits(cantaloupe, honey dew, strawberries, and grapes) with a yogurt sauce. Ya, it sounds like there’s a whole lot going on, but it was made to be together. And somehow it’s not overly sweet which makes me love it that much more. A great dessert… or meal because it’s a huge portion. Good prices, good eats, and good peeps. Spork is by far, my favorite food-truck. Anywhere. Hands down. No question.

Great drunk food, and for the price this is a great deal. I ordered the Chicken and waffle sandwich and could finish it because of the size. A whole lot of goodness at a very reasonable price. I will be sure to come back!
