Awesome store! very clean and organized. Found some great brands for my kids that just keep growing so fast. Love that I can trade in clothes my kids barley wore and find sizes they can wear. I will keep going back, especially through my kids growth spurts.

Plato ’ s Closet is a second hand clothing store. I wouldn’t say it’s a thrift shop because they are more interested in current gently worn items compared to vintage styles. You can sell or buy clothing and I have done both so let me give you the break down. Selling: . You will only profit about 30% off the original price you paid. . If you’re selling luxury purses like Micheal Kors, Coach, etc. Be prepared to show original receipt for authentication. . They get busy so sometimes you drop off the clothing for an estimate and come back later usually within 1 – 2 hours. . Don’t be offended if they don’t buy back all your clothing. Buying: . The store is as organized as it can be. Everything is organized by color and style. . If you have daughters that LOVE Hollister this is a great place to get really amazing deals. I found really good deals as low as $ 6 for a Hollister blouse. . I also found a good amount of Express blouses that I absolutely love! . I wouldn’t buy shoes here, actually I wouldn’t buy USED shoes anywhere. Cm’ on that’s gross. . They have accesories too by the front register so get a little something to give a pop of color to an outfit l. Overall if you are buying you get a bang for your buck but if you’re selling you get the short end of the stick. There’s really no customer service here. There’s just 1 to 2 girls ringing stuff up and someone folding clothes in the fitting room. I will still continue to do my shopping here because of the great prices.
