Much nicer than the one on the Interstate 10 East side. Sept 2015: Half the place is under construction, but it is by far way nicer than what I’d expected. It has a cozy spanish villa style to it, walking around with arched adobe and azul tile paved areas. There’s a guard making his rounds throughout the night which makes me feel safer. The mini lawn with 2 picnic tables and pet trash can is lush with some flower beds nicely placed.

Stopped here after being awake for over 24 hours we were so drowsy we needed to stop for a few hours for a nap before continuing after relaying this to him he still charged full pprice. And like we had said 3 hours later we returned our key. I’m happy to get the rest the room was okay it just seemed a little cheap to charge us overnight prices

Unfortunately this review is very old. My family stayed there over the 4th of July of 2011. We were traveling from Austin to California in a Volkswagon. So yeah, we broke down outside of El Paso. Luckily a very nice unknown man towed us 200 miles and left us at this Motel 6 to get repairs. I work in a 4 star hotel so my expectaions werent that high, its Motel 6 after all. We had to move rooms 3 times because we kept trying to leave ElPaso but car troubles kept making us check back in. Over all the hotel wasnt bad it just wasnt very clean. The floors were filthy. All of our feet were black our entire stay. I got a broom out of my VW and swept it and even mopped the floor myself and still no luck, black feet. Since it was July, we used the pool. Apparently so did half the city. I understand the need to allow others to use the pool, but when we were there, EVERYONE in East El Paso was also there. We watched cars pull up and people pile out and into the pool. No one had a room! The pool was so crowded that my kids hated it. I asked the front desk about it and they said they were allowing another hotel to use our pool. I informed them about all the non guests using the pool, she didnt seem to care. The ice machine was broken the entire time we were there. We had to go across the street to get ice, at another hotel. Now the staff sisnt realize we were stuck there until about 3 days in when someone stopped my husband under our car with the engine on the ground. What fun, pulling an engine, in July, in El Paseo, in a parking lot. When they realized they made an attempt to at least move our room closer to our vechicle. They were not great just BLAH. No one really seemed to care. They were just going through the motions.
