Most of the staff has no desire to be here and don’t really care if you know it. The food is good and it comes out quickly. Several vegetarian options but absolutely no vegan. I’d love to see something different, maybe just one dish without animal products used. I won’t be returning since there’s no vegan.

I’ve been here quite a few times. The food is great and so is the service. If you’ve ever worked in a restaurant, like I have, you would know that the plates are extremely hot because you put them in the ‘salamander’ to melt the cheese right before serving it. A ‘salamander’ is over 400 degrees. So, for those of you giving bad reviews, know what the hell you’re talking about before you talk bad about a business. You’re effecting someone’s livelihood with your ignorant reviews. From someone that has cooked authentic Mexican food their whole life and has run a restaurant and has been a chef, I recommend this place!

Terrible food & very rude service. Not worth your time or money! Menudo has very little meat and hominy is undercooked. The food is not fresh and the coffee tastes terrible. Julio’s café corona is much better!

I stopped here with my family for lunch and everyone enjoyed their meal. My son had the breakfast buffet and I had the taco plate. The salsa and chips were good.

Excellent Mexican food with excellent prices. The chips were warm and crispy and the salsa was delicious. I ordered a combo consisting of A ground beef taco, chili relleno and enchilada. I asked to substitute shredded chicken for the ground beef and it was not a problem. The prices are incredible for the amount of food that is served. I usually skip dessert however it was included in the mealWarm sopapillas. They were delicious. Highly recommend it.

Pretty good and inexpensive. Dessert: Sopaipilla A La Mode 3.59 A scoop of vanilla ice cream on a hot cinnamon sopaipilla, topped with whipped cream and a cherry. choice of chocolate or caramel syrup. I could go back. Pretty good iced tea.

I wish I could give more stars. This place was amazing. Juan our server was fantastic. I had the gorditas and they were hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. Hubs had a steak and enchilada plate and the steak was actually cooked correctly(med rare). Margaritas were big and delicious too. At the end of the meal you get complimentary sopapillas. Kid friendly and clean too.

Very good food, the service was good. I was surprised pleasantly! I will go back when I return to El Paso. We had the steak tacos with beans and rice, very very good. The sophopillas were tough as if they were pre cooked, but we’re good. I encourage the Restaruant to try and cook closer to order. Excellent place.

It may be average Mexican food, but it sure as hell is one hundred times better than the Downtown Leo’s. One hundred times better! No snooty waitresses at this Leo’s to be found and a pretty decent weekend breakfast buffet. We walked into a pretty packed house, but were immediately seated in a booth. Our waiter came over in a jiffy, took our drink orders and sent us on a quest to follow our hearts. And while on this quest, Impossible Dream played and fortunately for us our dream was not impossible and once we made it to the buffet we were greeted with the smells of red and green enchiladas, potatoes with chorizo, queso with chile, bacon, sausage, fried tacos, rolled tacos, beans, menudo, fruits, yogurt, and other things(yep, you guessed it) too numerous to mention. I kind of bounced around on the buffet and hell yes, you better believe I line jumped because some people take entirely too long to make a simple decision(it’s a buffet… if you’re stuck between two things, get them both!). It’s not Hong Kong Buffet sized, but it’s big enough and everything served was warm to hot. An ace in my book. I like to believe I tried about 75% of what was available to me and while nothing really stood out to me as AH.MAY.ZING., but I’d partake again. And again. And again. It was filling and generally good. Oh and our server kept the table clean, never let our cups run low, and always had a smile.
