I hate a Krispy Kreme Doughnuts whose lights aren’t on! But a cold doughnuts is better than no doughnut at all. And so, I have had to make a mad rush jumping out of an 18-wheeler to go across the street and get me some doughnuts. I appreciate the sugar more than you will ever know.

What more is there to say but Krispy Kreme… I would have given them 6 stars if they were making them warm and fresh when I walked in the door… Glazed with chocolate icing and seasonal sprinkles is my all time fave, but raspberry filled is a close second… These aren’t cheap, but they are so good!

The employees at this location are always chipper and happy, I have no idea why… But I love it! This place obviously sells non-stop because every time I’ve gone there is a line of cars and parking lot has never been empty. The donuts are delicious, there is a dunkin’ donuts around the corner but I’d hardly say they’re in competition. Tips: go inside instead of the drive through for a free donut :-). If you know someone who works at a local school district they sell coupons(10) for $ 10 and you get one free dozen of the original glazed when you buy one dozen of the assorted –what a deal!

Great glazed donuts. Those are made fresh, but be sure you get your free donut to sample as you wait in often long lines. Usually, you can buy a card from an fundraising organization that entitles you to an extra dozen donuts if you but one dozen. This makes the price a little more palatable, though, as I mentioned before, those glazed donuts are so damn good when they’re warm!

Krispy Kreme, so legendary. well, not really. The donuts are alright, but honestly both my husband and I prefer albertsons over theirs. The employees are friendly enough, but if you order a coffee of any type they always take forever to make it. I ordered half caf one time and the guy looked like I asked him to perform open heart surgery. Today was my first time through the drive thru, and I was less than amused. I was the only car, and when I pulled up to window there was one lady just walking in, but they had me sitting there for minutes! Was frustrating, would rather pick up breakfast at albertsons.

You’ve got to love a good original glazed krispy kreme doughnut. Yeah, this place has lost a little bit of its luster, but it still produces amazing doughnuts. If I eat in this area(which happens quite often because it’s right next to Tinseltown) then I just grab desert here since they’re open pretty late. But this isn’t a place that you absolutely have to go, which is why I gave it a 3 star rating.

Our two trips(so far) to this Krispy Kreme have been very pleasant. Both times there was an employee ready and waiting with hot, fresh donuts right off the line to hand out. Ahhh… My husband and I always like to watch the donuts go down the line and fry up and get drenched in glaze. Very nice, clean, friendly store.

In the mood for something sweet today and decided to stop by Krispy Kreme. Unlike the store on North Mesa, this one did not offer a free hot doughnut upon arrive. Ordered a couple and instead of providing those hot off the line I was provided a couple from the case. All in all an ok experience, but I think in the future I’ll continue making the trip to North Mesa.

The magic of krispy kreme is being able to watch them come off the grease & through the glaze… get em hot off the conveyer belt you know. That magic is tainted by a dirty kitchen in this case. Looking through the glass at grease and glaze and old dough all over the floor and equipment grossed me out. The guy that took our order had a giant piercing in his ear that apparently effected either his hearing or his ability to understand what I asked for. He made me feel like he was doing me a huge favor by giving me what i asked for(I wanted a donut pulled off the belt before it went through the glaze, and iced with chocolate). Got home with great coffee and a few very greasy donuts. Too sweet for my taste, and GREASESOAKED. The traditional cake donut was delicious though.

Every city seems to have a local place that is the best place for donuts, well guess what? El Paso doesn’t have one, its Krispy Kreme, period, no local donut joints are better. 5-stars baby!

I was pregnant when this location was opening up. I’d never had Krispy Kreme before and I’m not really a fan of doughnuts, but at that time, I had a huge craving. I remember the commotion that the opening of a Krispy Kreme in El Paso caused. People were lined up before dawn, the news crews were there, people were waiting for hours. It seemed that you had to be crazy to want to wait in that line.. .. . or pregnant. We were one of those people waiting there for a doughnut. I was on the verge of tears at the thought of me not being able to have one. We went through the drive through, so really only waited a little over an hour. When it was finally our turn, I ordered one glazed doughnut. My husband said we hadn’t waited in that huge line for ONE doughnut and bought a dozen instead. Good call. The first bit of that scrumptious fried sweet dough was bliss. All«krispy» on the outside and like a soft cloud on the inside. We’ve been there several more times since then, it just doesn’t hold the same appeal. Like other places, service varies. Sometimes we get a hugely rude person, sometimes a nice one. We’ve tried the coffee which is OK but not out of this world. I think the Dunkin Donuts one is better. We go there a little more often now when we’re in town since there is no longer a Krispy Kreme in my city. I hear that Krispy Kreme is on the list of businesses that might not make it through the year. I hope not. And no, my son’s name is not Krispin.

I hate to admit it, but I’m a fan. On my first trip there I received free doughnuts while waiting in line… the original are of course the best way to go.
