We used to come to this place every other week. The gentleman, Gus and the woman who owns the place was awesome. Everything was great. We’ll they are gone and so is the food quality. We have tried 3 times to give the new people a chance. Raman: completely tasteless broth. Everywhere in the planet of the earth when you ask for an egg with extra charge. It’s a fried egg on top with yoke still running. They mix it in and argue that it had to be a special request for a fried egg!!! I saw another ramen with the fried egg on top and they did not ask a special request. So basically she was lying. Squid salad: first it was filled with water on the bottom of dish because they did not drain the water. Secondly, the lettuce is about 2⁄3 of the salad and the dressing was tasteless. Before it was½ squid and ½ lettuce. A perfect ratio. Pork Katsu: was cold and overcooked. How do you manage that. The edges where dark brown and you can almost break a tooth. Tempura shrimp: overcooked also and the batter is not fluffy like it was before. Spicy tuna roll: only thing relatively consistent. 2 stars for food 1 star for service.

We were in the mood to try something different but close to our house so we stopped in. Don’t let the location fool you — this is a serious restaurant! We ordered gyoza, teriyaki chicken, and the Fiesta roll, and everything came out fresh, hot where applicable, and very tasty. The fried rice was light and delicious, and the teriyaki was done perfectly. Overall, everything we tasted was fantastic and the service was quite fast for 3 in the afternoon. This is a great local place that anyone who likes teriyaki should definitely check out.

Hubby and I went here after a long day of errands. We found it on Unilocal and with the four star rating we didn’t disagree too much as it was close to where we were and on the way home. When we arrived we were a bit taken back. This place really is a little hole in the wall. Taking the risk and based on reviews we gave it a shot anyway. When we walked in the place was VERY small. Only a couple and a single person occupying the tables. It was late in the day so I’m a little surprised it didn’t have more business, however, it is Saturday night and I’m sure people had REAL dinner plans in mind. The place was reasonably clean and the staff very friendly. All greeted us as we walked in. We ordered to go as we wanted an animé and sushi night. After a few minutes of debates we both decided on what we wanted. I ordered the miso soup and the French kiss roll. The miso soup was fantastic and the perfect size for only 2.05 $(this price includes the tax). The French kiss roll was about 14 $ or so but WELL worth the price. Eight HUGE pieces. I was so surprised at how large the portioning was. Both were delicious! Although I was disappointed in the to go soy sauce as it was EXTREMELY small. I should have checked before leaving because I would have asked for two or three more.(I love my soy sauce). Other than that everything was great! Hubby ordered the Patrick roll. He asked for it deep fried and cream cheese on the side because he couldn’t decide whether to have it put into the actual roll. Disappointed when we got home it was NOT deep fried, again we should have checked everything before we got home. Hubby ate his roll anyway and made it very clear that aside from it not being deep fried it was absolutely delicious. While we were waiting for our food, since hubby was indecisive on the cream cheese one of the gentleman brought him a piece of the Patrick roll with cream cheese added in on a little plate him to try. This was very thoughtful and very appealing. The only negative id have to say is that the young girl catering to the occupied tables kept coming out from the back with sopping wet arms and hands and covered in soap. This was not very appealing and we’re glad for this that we ordered to go. All in all we’d probably go back but only if it was nearby or a convenient stop. We probably wouldn’t go out of our way to dine here and we’d probably order to go if we did stop in again. Oh and I forgot to mention, not sure why but they closed at about seven tonight(on a Saturday) when their advertising says 8. ALSO they are closed on Sunday’s! Just a heads up!

This place is awesome… the food Is good the owners are very nice people. Like I said before the Patrick bowl or the spicy soup are my favorite. Last time we were there for lunch the owner made us an appetizer on the house. And they always have k-love on. Nice!

We went here, based on reviews. SO disappointed!!! First off, the server was clueless about items on menu, and didn’t even attempt to figure it out. Second, the bathrooms were absolutely digusting, no soap, no papertowels. I asked for some and I was left waiting, only to get attitude when I asked again.(they were not busy, maybe 2 tables occupied in restaurant) Finally, so I didn’t have to keep my husband and 4 month old waiting for me, I went into the mens restroom just to wash my hands. I go back to sit down to see our sushi waiting for us. It looked pretty good. I noticed we had no utensils, and went up to ask for some, to be handed a cruddy looking spoon. I sit back down and realize we still haven’t gotten our appetizer. A couple bites in and it was hard to stomach anymore. It just tasted dirty. The appetizer was finally served, and it wasn’t any better. Our server didn’t attempt to make anything right, and I had to get up numerous times to ask for missing items. One older asian lady came to our table, and she was so friendly with us and she made our baby smile so it was hard to complain. She was the only thing pleasant about our experience. I woke up the next morning with stomach cramps, feeling sick. I’ve had food poisoning, this felt like a mild case, but definitely from the food. We will absolutely NEVER go back.

This place is great if you want a quick meal for lunch. I ordered the spicy bento box(and the waiter even asked me how hot I wanted it, that’s something you don’t get a lot of). As well as the dragon roll that was recommended on this site. I was happily surprised. The waiter himself even told me where he believed his restaurant ranked with the bigger(fancy) sushi restaurants. Yes it is a little small(don’t try to fit the Dugger family in here) I will definitely be back and it a quick drive from Ft. Bliss. So that’s a win win from me.

I’ve been looking for a place in El Paso that fit the following criteria: light, healthy and relatively cheap. I think my search is finally over. This place is a stone’s throw away from West Fort Bliss and the food is reasonably good. I tried a half order(5 pieces) of the salmon rolls and the spicy ramen. The salmon rolls weren’t exactly the best, but it’s far far from the worst. Let’s just say that I could probably eat it once a day and not get tired of it. Although, I’m not really that picky of an eater… The spicy ramen was filling and pretty tasty. Overall this place has really nice healthy choices at a decent price and tastes pretty good. I give it 4 non-Fukushima-radiated-sushi stars out of 5.

Great service and good food. Sushi rolls took forever to come out though, but the girl who took care of us offered us egg rolls on the house to hold us over. Definitely returning(; thank you

Great service! Good food! A group of us decided at the last minute to grab dinner, the food was delicious, great portion sizes, and the server was prompt, polite, and knowledgeable. We had bulgogi, gyoza, beef teriyaki and the california roll. Everything was well-sized, I had left-overs for lunch the next day and was pleased with the experience. Bathrooms were clean, and prices reasonable. Apparently they are very busy at lunch time, I can believe it!

Okay… I think I have become very strict about my sushi! Especially when it’s a cheat meal for me. Honestly I was not impressed at all:-(I thought the meat in the box tasted odd, the California rolls were ok. Sushi is my thing and I am very adamant about making sure that it’s fresh and to be honest this place just didn’t have it:-(the service was great! And the Philly roll was good.

The sushi here is awesome. I recently moved back into the area and this was one of my first stops. The Dragon roll and the French kiss are phenomenal. Kee is super sweet and personable. You can call and pre-order if you are in a rush, even during their busier lunch hours.

Extremely tasty! This is one of my family’s favorites! Try the California Rolls — and for a unique experience… try the Patrick’s Special!

Decent. Thoroughly enjoyed the bento box. The sashimi was cut very thin on our rainbow roll but everything was tasty. We were given complementary miso soups.

This Kee’s Teriyaki used to be my preference as far as the Kee’s Teriyaki chain goes and had Ms. Kee(I’ve spoken to the owner multiple times and I have yet to confirm that her last name is in fact Kee, but for the sake of this review that’s what I’m going to call her) been there on my last few visits I may have felt differently. I’ve been going to this KT since high school when I was still finding my inner foodie(meaning I usually just ordered a California Roll). It wasn’t until my former debate coach ordered about 5 different rolls and made me try them all that I finally went outside my comfort zone when it came to sushi — well I guess food in general. So for that I’m ever in his debt. KT(and Barnes) opened my eyes to the wonderful world of eel. Eel rolls, grilled eel, eel sauce… just anything eel related. Hence my love for Caterpillar Rolls. The last time I was here I ordered the Caterpillar Roll of course. And because I also have a strange infatuation with raw tuna, I also ordered the Spicy Tuna Roll. Both were fine(too damn big, might I add, but fine), but just missing that extra oomph. It was just simply sushi. Another thing that over the years has drawn me to KT is how personable and lovable Ms. Kee is. Her upbeat attitude always rubs off on her staff, but the last couple of times I went a couple of the staff members have been a bit snippy. Recently I’ve ran into Ms. Kee at the eastside location more often so I’m guessing she’s putting a lot more work into that one for whatever reason. I’ll give this location another shot, but I may just stick with the eastside.

Service was a little slow and smells like grease when you walk in. The Bento box and Philly roll were pretty good and filling.

The sushi is very bland and the rolls all tasted the same, except for the deep fried one(sorry I don’t remember names). The cuts of fish were small, too and did not taste very fresh. On a side note, I didn’t try the teriyaki but it looked good. Much better sushi options in El Paso…
