Do yourself a huge favor and run… run like you’re on fire! Seriously tho — If you’re looking for a gym in EP, maybe not this one. READ the contract before you sign up… it’s damn near impossible to get out of, EVEN if you’ve moved 1600 miles away from any of their gyms! I need to send a certified letter & pay big $$$ to get out of the contract because they don’t work with gyms in other areas. If you move — you’re screwed! The gyms smell like sweaty armpits & the staff is more interested in texting & facebook than maintaining a clean, professional facility. I’ve worked in the gym/health and fitness industry for over 15 years — This place is NOT amazing! Try UFC gyms or RS Fitness… I promise you’ll be happier!

They have updated equipment and a friendly staff but the restrooms are of serious concern, they are very dated and get very dirty. Also the air can be somewhat stale at the gym, it would help if they turned on the AC even if only to get the air moving around.

I’m giving it a 3 because it’s soo packed after work hours and extremely frustrating to use equipment

They didn’t earn this star. This gym is terrible. I was paying member(on time) for over a year until finally I got tired if the gym. I got my belt, multiple shaker bottles and finally my wallet stolen from this gym and refused to help. My payment then bounced because I had to get a temporary debit and the gym insisted on a $ 30 late payment fee! I then tried to cancel and they wanted me to pay my past due balance, the late fee AND next months for a total of 130 before cancellation! Terrible service! I was never even able to catch the managers because they somehow are always in a «meeting» when there is an angry customer! Don’t so it guys find another gym. Don’t even have time to go into members and how packed it is.

This gym is new, it’s huge, there’s a ton of equipment, and it’s packed. Price(3 Stars): –I’m not local and currently not a member. So, I can’t speak to their monthly fee. But on of their members told me that it was about $ 50 per month. –They offer a free day pass to test drive their gym. Keep in mind that this pass also means that you will have to give them a few minutes of your time to discuss pricing and obtaining a membership. –One day pass is $ 15. My opinion… this is steep, especially since my two gym memberships in Las Vegas is only about $ 10 more for a full month with access to all gyms in CA and LV. But you do what you gotta do when you’re out of town. –One week pass is $ 40(quoted over the phone). Still think this is high, but a better price than $ 15 per day. I would consider this if I’m in El Paso for a week and doing two-a-days. Staff(5 Stars): I’ve had no issues with the staff. Both the day shift and night shift treated me like a member. One huge plus… they didn’t pressure me to join and didn’t try to hook me on any special deals. They knew I was here from out of town and just wanted to get a couple of workouts in. Equipment(4.5 Stars): This gym is stacked! Whatever my home gym has, this gym has 3 times more. We’re talking 80+ cardio machines, about 8 benches, over 5 inclines, more than 4 Smith Machines, handful of power racks, tons of machines, over 10 huge TV screens, and dumbbells than heavier than I can lift. The only reason I’m not giving this EP Gym 5 Stars for their equipment is because they lack safety collars for their barbells, don’t have a stairmaster, and no one here reracks their weights. My Experience(5 Stars in AM, 3 Stars in PM): I’ve had 3 sessions here so far and my experience is mixed. Between 4:00AM and 7:00AM, this gym is perfect. It’s still a fairly busy gym around 5:00AM, but since this gym is stacked and spacious, getting one of those great workouts was not a problem. It’s a different story at night. After 5PM, this gym is packed like a club in Las Vegas. Good luck finding an open bench or your favorite machine. It’s like winning the lottery if you happen to find a matching pair of dumbbells during this time. I still managed to get a decent workout at night. However, I had to use my gym ninja skills to get it. My secret… can’t tell you. It’s a secret. Overall, I’m still giving this gym 4 Stars because EP has it all. I will just have to settle with the AM workouts and avoid the PM sessions as much as possible.
