El Paso Hot Tamales

These guys are great for cheapo Mexican food.
3 minor complaints:
1. They don’t alert you to the fact that all of their enchiladas are loaded with onions. I’m used to being asked if I want mine made with them or not.
2. They forgot to give me tostadas and a burrito I ordered the last time I was there. I should have checked the bag before I got home, so it was kind of my fault… and the cashier working was all of 16 years old.
3. The portions aren’t super huge, but that’s ok.
So for around 32 bucks, I got 6 enchiladas, 6 gorditas, 6 tacos and 32 oz of beans and rice, and 2 semi-​hard flour tortillas and a little tub of salsa. Not bad.
The gorditas were crazy good and really filled with delicious potato-​y meat. The salsa was also really good. A bit thin, but nice and spicy and flavorful.
If you’re in a hurry and want cheap food and you happen to be in the Montwood/​George Dieter area, check these guys out. They’ve been there forever, and they have a drive-​through!
