Stopped in on our drive through El Paso because of the high rating. Left very disappointed in the food, service and cleanliness of the bathrooms. The bathrooms are in desperate need of cleaning and repair. The women’s toilet had no cover on the tank and was functioning with the assistance of a plastic grocery sack tied to the handle on the inside of the tank. The men’s urinal was out of order with a large plastic bag covering it and urine was all over the floor – this lack of sanitation in the public section of a restaurant leaves me feeling nervous about the cleanliness of the kitchen, where patrons aren’t invited. We had our children with us and ordered chicken fajita tacos for them to share. When they were delivered we were only given enough silverware for the entrées ordered and had to ask 3 different times for silverware and an extra plate. Chips were definitely stale, no refills on drinks were offered. Ordered the guacamole and was given 1 avocado cut in 4 wedges. The menu was mostly in Spanish and the server was unable to offer any help explaining what items were when asked. The carne asada was good, had a nice marinade and was tender, however, I don’t believe this spot deserves the high rating that brought us to visit. Based on our overall experience we definitely won’t be stoping by on future trips, it was pretty disappointing.

This place really ruined me, in the best possible way. It is a small place with not very much seating, but do not let that discourage you. The Charro beans were great, the tacos were fantastic, and the Pastor Torta was out of this world in flavor and quality. The portions are giant, so I would recommend sharing a Torta and order of tacos. I think I might have said«WOW!» after every bite in this meal.

Gross and bland. Yuck! There’s weren’t many options, the waitress/cashier got the order wrong, and no salsas were provided. She never came back to ask if we were okay or needed other items. Definitely not worth the hype.

Super Mexican food in a small but fun atmosphere. The place is small, but the food is amazing! The lemonade was perfect something to go for just for a cold drink. Will return in our next visit to El Paso!

I’ve been here a dozen times. If you want tacos get the Barbacoa tacos, they’re the best. If you want a torta get the Carne asada it’s the best. If you want good menudo, come on the WEEKENDONLY, and they have toast & lime & onion to go with it, really good size. Overall the other tacos are okay, not the best but not the worst, drinks are good. Beans and rice are good, BUTTHEBESTTHINGISTHEIRFRIJOLESCHARROS. Such a good little soup.

Been here numerous times. Hole in the wall recommended to me by a nearby hotel I frequent for work. Inexpensive, fast, friendly service. The al pastor is amazing. Great quick and easy lunch spot.

Came here because of the high rating, but I left a little disappointed. Like every Mexican restaurant they brought me chips and two salsas to try. The chips were very stale, not enjoyable. The salsas were ok, the mild salsa was very watered down though and I didn’t seem to get much on the chip. The spicy one was thicker and easier to get a good taste of. I ordered the special, which was four tacos with a combination of meats. The tacos themselves were very good, but they only provided cilantro and very large diced onions to put on top. I was satisfied with how they tasted but it wasn’t over-the-top delicious as I was expected from a place with 4.5 stars. Overall I just don’t think this place deserves more than 2 stars. Good place to grab a quick bite, but if you’re in town just visiting like I was there are better places to get some tacos.

Let me start with the amaziNG VALUE this place is and it’s no wonder why they stay packed! We had 4 ppl and all ate for 21.00 with drinks and we all were full!!! The green salsa sauce is amazing and the tortillas are so so good! The al pastor is tender and juicy so I definitely recommend it

This is the best Mexican food I have ever had. And I got credentials. I have lived in the southwest and west and devour all sorts of mexi cuisine. The meat is seasoned soooooo well it brings tears to your eyes. I hate cow stomach. But their menudo made me a believer. I had asada and chocked fajita tacos. Best damn meat ever!

I went here from the airport based on the Unilocal reviews. I wasn’t disappointed — delicious little hole in the wall. My boyfriend and I both ordered the Carne Asad tacos. Great flavor! Also not much fat on them which was refreshing. Will def be back next time I’m El paso!

I eat here every time I travel to El Paso for work. The green salsa is anazing. I have tried almost everything and it’s all great. I recommend the tacos above all else. The bean soup is delicious Be sure and bring a little cash for tip. You can’t put your tip on the credit card. VIVALAELCHIHUAHUAITOS!

The restaurant is small, but a perfect hole-in-the-wall place. My husband and I got the four carne asada tacos plate and a carne asada torta, and both were amazing. Like the other reviews said, the beans had a kick to them, and the green sauce they give with the meals is excellent. We will be going back many times!

Pretty good place for lunch. The bean soup has a kick to it. Had their menudo twice, first time was great, second not so good, so it wasn’t consistent. The taco meat tho was pretty darned tasty. Also tried their parrillada VERY good. With all the taco places in El Paso, it is hard compete, but this place is one that I would suggest to people if they want good tacos in its area.

Let me start with I’m not sure if this place is worth 4.5 stars. Went here for lunch, ordered the parrillada for 2 people. Place: very small. I felt cramped in there. The tables(which are not very many) weren’t clean even though there only one other table occupied. Finally got someone to clean our table– ok. Drink: horchata was good and I think they gave us free refill which is always nice. Food: the al pastor was too fatty although the carne asada was pretty good. Regular store bought tortillas— nothing special. The beans were good though. The green salsa is the bomb. Service: very polite but very slow. Had to ask a few times for napkins and drink refills. When we tried paying, had to wait a while and even though two people from the kitchen can see us, no one even acknowledged us or said wait a few minutes. They looked at us and then kept going with their conversation.

The lady is so fun and friendly, we stopped by from out of town and loved the place. Wish we had a taco shop like this back home, definitely recommend!

Just landed in El Paso and found this place 5 mins from the airport. Went based on the Unilocal reviews, and I was not dissapointed! I got the Torta Al Pastor and it was delicious, and huge. Prices are good, $ 8 for my Torta and a horchata. Well definitely be going here again!

Absolutely amazing. I had the carne asada torta. Threw some of that jalapeño avocado sauce they have. Really good! They sat me down with chips and salsa. Whole thing cost me $ 6. I left full, because the torta was so big, And I’m 6′ 220 lbs. I recommend this place for sure! Not much seating though, maybe 6 tables.

Great little authentic Mexican taqueria! Skip the commercial Taco Tote. Really reasonable prices. We paid $ 14 for a «parrillada» for two — two kinds of grilled meat, tortillas, fixings, frijoles de la olla and baked potato. Yummy unique salsas. Bring your own beer!
