I found myself hungry in El Paso, TX. In fact just landed and I was in search for a place to eat. I wanted to explore what was close to the airport and found this great family owned restaurant. The food was authentic and tasty. I ordered the usual combo of enchilladas and tacos. Of course, it came with chips and salsa. But, watch out, as their house salsa that comes with the chips is on the hot side. I recommend to all travelers to visit. Great taste low prices.

Ahhh Dos Nidos, found this place while driving around town looking for lunch in El Paso. We spotted this place Dos Nidos, Mexican Café… so we decided to check it out. I think this is a small family run business, there wasn’t alot of people in there as we came after the lunch rush, but you could tell that the people in there were regulars. They were running a few specials, which didn’t pretty much interest me. However as I perused the menu, the prices seemed reasonable. A full lunch plate was between $ 6.95−9.95. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with green sauce and a shredded beef taco(I was more interested in the meat than the taco itself). Everyone at the table was given a bowl of soup with their meal(although we didn’t order it, which I thought was very nice). It was like a Mexican chicken and rice soup. It was good as well. My enchiladas were okay, the green sauce was super spicy and they chicken inside lacked a bit of seasoning, but they were bearable. The rice and beans were good, but of course they gave me a small baby’s portion, I think I’m gonna start asking for a double portion of rice and beans from now on! LOL. The waitress and staff were all really nice and attentive to us all(total of 5). Oooh and they also serve breakfast! :-)
