Must Go If…
You are craving the best gourmet hot dogs you have ever tried… After a night of drinking… Before hitting the bars… at any given night of cravings.
The Good…
These hot dogs are not your regular dogs. For me, this is the closest to a gourmet hot dog. They have your typical Mexican hot dog, your ruffle and Doritos hot dog… In addition, my favorites are the California hot dog that has avocado and chipotle sauce and the asadero dog that has green chile and of course asadero cheese… Ok top of all this, the hot dogs are either 5 or 7 dlls… Great price… great quality.
The Not So Good…
As everything that tastes this good… it takes time. Be prepare to wait for your hotdog. specially during the weekend, however… You will not regret waiting…

Sometimes after an evening of a few adult beverages, I get to craving a big wiener in my mouth, and I do not mind paying for it or picking it up from a street corner, that’s how I discovered Dog & Dog’s Craving’s delicious and massive Mexican Street Dogs. This awesome stand sets up in the evenings at the Family Dollar parking lot where Mesa and Executive meet.
There are many things to like about this hot dog stand: the menu is simple, only 2 types of Hot Dogs in one of two sizes (I don’t want to be second-​guessing my choice and wondering what could’ve been!), they’re not pre-​cooked, your hot dog is made when you order it, there’s plenty of parking once Family Dollar closes, the folks running it are super friendly, and most importantly the Hot Dogs are damn good.
The Mexican Street Dog is loaded with toppings: bacon, cheese, beans, pico de gallo, jalapeños, mustard, and with so many toppings I find it acceptable for it to have ketchup, but it is a very rare exception! They’re footlongs, but they have them in regular or jumbo, I’m a jumbo kind of guy. I won’t lie, it’s a messy dog to eat, but well worth it.
