Worked up a thirst and appetite walking up from my hotel with a gift card. The bartender was friendly and prompt with my beer. Loved the old school touch of salting my cocktail napkin before setting down my drink! I went with the short lighter fare menu and subbed asparagus and tomatoes for the heavier quinoa and broccoli side with pasilla chicken chili dish. The corporate beer menu meant no local/state brews or spirits, the one limiting factor in my assessment of drinking establishments. The chicken breast was moist and the generous portion of asparagus tender.

Stopped in here after a long airplane flight because we were starving and Chili’s has always been a decent place to eat. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have updated their menu to include some lite eaters dishes so you can choose healthy options if you want. That being said, I wanted something salty and crunchy so I ordered the fries. Those were some of the best fries I’ve had in a long time! They were not at all greasy, were thick cut and still had the skins on, and they were well seasoned – just the right amount of salty! Our server, Matt, was very friendly and attentive. He was very respectful of my 92 year old hard of hearing mother in law, which was really sweet. The prices were very reasonable, the portions just the right size, and I love the tabletop checkout.

Okay I know in a previous review I said Chili’s wasn’t too good, but I had a burger this time and it was absolutely undeniably one of the best burgers I’ve had in El Paso. My toilet might suffer a bit tonight but all in all it was good food and the waiter was stellar.

OUTSTANDING service tonight! My husband and I decided last minute that we would rather eat out then cook in. He chose Chili’s. We were seated right away and got a high chair for our daughter. Our drinks and chips and salsa were ordered and brought out right away. We then orders an appetizer. Classic nachos with chicken. After browsing the menu we placed our order and shortly after the manager, Oscar brought out nachos out. They were hot and tasted perfect. By then we needed refills so a server got those for us right away. That same server then brought our food out for you. Everyone was great except I had received a chicken enchilada instead of the chicken quesadilla that I ordered so I told the server and she was apologetic and had the kitchen make it for me. Then our original server. Joshua brought our French fries we added and my quesadilla out and apologized for the mistake. He then let us know the the manager would like to give us a dessert to compensate for the mishap. We finished our meal and ordered the Oreo Molten cake. It came out hot and topped with vanilla ice cream. We shared it. We had a great experience at Chili’s and will definitely be back to this location again I would recommend it to friends and family. Joshua was a great and personable server and so was his assistant but I didn’t catch her name. The manager Oscar showed great leadership and was friendly and didn’t seem the least bit stressed on a busy Friday night.

My husband and I stopped there for lunch today. We ordered and I ordered nachos as an appetizer. She brought us his small bowl of chili way before our entrees. By the time we got our appetizer,.our meal came out the same time! Don’t get me wrong, the food was great. What was horrible was our service. I had to get another waiter to get me a to go box and our check. Apparently the ladies behind us had crappy service because they spoke to the manager on their way out. Won’t be coming back to this one for awhile.

Horrible experience at this restaurant the waiter didn’t bus our table, our drinks were left empty for half the meal. We went through the manager several times for assistance and very little was offered. Our meal was supposed to come with a dessert but we were given our check before we were even given the option to order dessert. Then when we did order the desert we were given the new bill with a higher amount even though our meal included the dessert. Probably the worst Chili’s we’ve ever had the unfortunate experience to eat at and that’s including eating at Chili’s in other countries around the world during my 12 years of military service. Save yourself a horrible experience and do not done here.

Got to Chili’s at 9:45 pm. The hostess had the attitude like why are you here at this late hour. The waitress equally had the same attitude. The waitress had a piss poor attitude. If you seat a customer, don’t tell them you have 10 minutes to order or you won’t get your food. A couple of people ordered the fajitas and all the condiments containers were half full. The chips and salsa, the chips were cold. We received a refill on a diet coke and there was no ice in the glass. Ask for a hamburger med. well and received the hamburger med rare. Waitress had an attitude with the meat not cooked properly. Terrible just terrible service. The manager was totally oblivious.

Here for lunch! Had the chips and the new spinach queso dip. Whoa those chips are salty! Didn’t want to say anything and figured it was just me but then my stepmom says the same thing! The dip was okay, nothing special. We shared a sandwich, and those are great servings, I suggest splitting it. I am not very satisfied, but service was great! This is good food(they stay busy) just not my cup of tea I suppose …

So, I ate here the evening of Easter Sunday. This is a typical Chili’s, just like any other as far as the layout, and the food goes… For the most part. I ordered the Cajun pasta with shrimp and have had this dish at a few other Chili’s locations. It’s certainly one that I enjoy from Chili’s. This particular time it’s simply didn’t taste the same as ones from the past. Also the temperature was off a bit, just barely warm. That said, it was still okay. As usual the waitstaff were very attentive, and friendly. The restaurant was clean and up kept well. I’ll be back to this location«if» the stars align, and the situation is perfect. The only reason I wasn’t at Trattoria Bella Sera just a couple short miles away is they were closed:(… But, it was Easter Sunday after all.

Sorry Chili lovers… but yuck is the best I can do. The normally very good southwestern egg rolls were mushy and bland. The boneless wings were OK but the three dipping sauces were tasteless. On the good side, the celery sticks were nice and crisp. Grandma had the shrimp tacos and said they were just OK.

I have been going to this location for a while now. They have a bartender named Chris that I met one Saturday night shortly after moving here. The service is always amazing and the food incredible. I asked this guy for some advice about my new city with my family and his advice was well appreciated. I have since mover to the other side of town, but still drive over to this location every once in a while to say hello. the Carnitas fajitas are truly the best! Good job Airway location.

It’s a Chili’s… just like any and all other Chili’s in the world… yes I said world, as I have eaten at a Chili’s in both Korea Republic Of /Doha, Qatar /Okinawa, Japan. Same prices, same menu… some Bar/Grill ambiance as the weekend night grows older. Sports on the TV in the bar area… booths with the tile tables in the main area… they do have the cool little video game personal tablet things at each table though. You can order with it, play games with your group, pay the check… its actually ultra convenient… loved it. Anyways… it’s a Chili’s. You really don’t know what to expect? Where you been hangin’ at? Applebees? B*tch Please…

Chili’s has always been, in my opinion, one of the mainstays of interchangeable American restaurants – right up there with the TGI Fridays’, the Applebees’, the Ruby Tuesdays’, et cetera. Like that one guy from high school you try to avoid making eye-contact with at the supermarket as he scans your Ramen noodles and Preparation H, some of them still cling to their late-90s aesthetic, decorating their walls with garage sale impulse buys and hoarder relics having little to do with anything, especially food.(I’m looking at you, Fuddrucker’s) This afternoon I happened to be invited to eat by a buddy of mine. After a couple of jabs making light of the implied homo-eroticism of a man inviting another man to eat, I agreed and we made our way to the restaurant. After coming in from the merciless desert sun, which is a pain in the ass even in the middle of November, we were pleased to find the eating area dimly lit like a seedy motel lobby – the kind of motel you’d take one-night stand that you have absolutely no plans of calling or even looking at after your evening of amphetamines and fornication has come to an end. We were promptly seated by the cocaine-peppy host(or hostess, I really don’t remember) and told that our server would be with us shortly. After a few minutes of idle chit-chat, we were greeted by Sonia, our waitress. She was friendly in spite of the fact her job description involves attending to assholes like us all day and includes the possibility of being mentioned in a drunkard’s Unilocal review. When I turned down her offer of water with my early-afternoon beer, she mustered up a nervous laugh at my explanation that it was because I’m a raging alcoholic who can’t be bothered with lesser, non-inebriating liquids at 12:30 on a Monday afternoon, which is less of a joke than I’d like to admit. The bar area directly across from our table was at half-capacity, with a mix of portly, middle-aged men sipping mugs of the same overpriced swill that I was also gulping down. Their guts lay sadly in their laps like feedbags filled with shame and shitty life choices, and only added to the resemblance of the scene as a whole to a trough attended to by lethargic and sedated swine. CNN played on TVs hung from the ceiling like lynch mob victims, the clean-cut anchors reporting on the days events in a soundless pantomime. Were I a deaf-mute with any sort of interest in the news, I’d have felt right at home. The food arrived quickly enough, and my 6oz sirloin steak sat there glistening on the plate, staring up at me like a 20-something with low self-esteem, waiting for me to defile her face with my seed. Aided by a conservative dab of A1 sauce, it was tasty, despite having the consistency of a 50¢ gas station condom. The loaded mashed potatoes rounded off the dish nicely, in all their artery-clogging glory, and the broccoli, though dry, made me forget that this was just one of many meals slowly transforming me into one of the slovenly baby-boomers that sat at the bar mere yards away. All in all, the experience was pleasantly forgettable, like a friend’s wedding or a Joss Whedon film. In the event I’m asked to recall this meal in the future, I’m likely to not be able to remember where it took place. Was it Applebee’s? Was it TGI Friday’s? Does it matter? Three stars for our purposes here. But on a scale of mediocrity, Chili’s, you’ll always be a five-star joint in my book.
