Went here for lunch during the middle of the week. Service was adequate but the food was severely lacking on all levels. I ordered the steak tacos and was very disappointed. The meat looked like microwaved steak ums and tasted even worse. The meat was flavoless and the tortillas were bland and soggy. I also ordered a Dr. Pepper and could taste that their soda taps have not been cleaned in a long while. Given its location, this place does have real potential if they improve the menu.

Food was great, and cheap. Service was great. Good canned/bottled beers selection. Needs more tap selection

Skip the lunch buffet. At a little after noon, they were already out of many things. Also, the salad offerrings had no lettuce, tomato nor cucumbers. Maybe the menu items are better. If you want service such as more water, sit at the bar– no one comes close to the tables to wait on you.

I stopped here on a whim one evening, despite the strange name. It’s really a taco, torta and burrito place with a full bar and interesting craft beer selection. I opted for a Ballast Point Sculpin in a bottle. They have 5 draft beers, but most of the selection is bottles. The place has a good vibe, with a South of the Border flair. Mexican rock playing on the speakers but sports on the TV. Comfortable place to chill with a friendly staff. I ordered the steak tacos. There weren’t any chicken or fish tacos, but the steak tacos were perfect, thin sliced and tender. No cabbage or lettuce or filler junk like that. Just steak in tortillas. Delicious. They were accompanied by a sides of salsa(Verde and Rojo), some onions, and a grilled jalapeño. Tasty first look at this place, but I’d like to see a wider chili ice on the menu, maybe even some healthier options. Salud!

I can’t figure this place out. For a few months they had a big sign that read«steak burritos». The only thing open was a food van parked in front of the restaurant with a sign board for a menu. Burritos are pretty decent but now that the restaurant is open they have changed the signage to «Bar Men», but the food truck is still parked in front in the mornings selling burritos. You get a free drink with the burrito which is a really nice touch. I guess in fairness I should try the inside so understand this review is for the truck only. I really liked the carnitas burrito with cilantro and onions and the chile relleno with frijoles.
