So this place was the . Me and the Wife both had texas bbq hot dogs.(Hot dog, chili, bbq sauce, bacon, cheese and onions) Honestly, the best hot dog in town hands down. We waited a good while for them because everyone in El Paso decided to come to this food truck get together. All in all, a good time, good food and I will definately look for these hot dogs again real soon.

Mexican Street Dogs are one of my favorite staples of El Paso street dining and Barking Hot Dog makes some pretty decent ones, and they have a few more topping choices than your average food truck. I found their min-barn(truck) at a Food Truck Revolution stop, you can find their current location on their facebook page. I liked the Spicy Diablo dog, it caught my attention the most out of the 3 barking dogs(Original, Spicy Diablo, and Texas BBQ), because it has Banana Peppers, which I believe to be a tragically underrated and underutilized pepper. I do feel like my hot dog was light on the toppings, maybe that’s just me wanting more Banana Peppers, but a hot dog that has cheese should be a lot messier to eat. I wouldn’t go out of my way to find Barking Hot Dog, but they’re not a bad option if you’re mixing-and-matching food trucks, I had mine with a side of sushi.
