Ay Maria!

I was craving café de olla but what they served me wasn’t exactly what I expected not even close =(. I had the chilaquiles Verdes but I didn’t like them no flavor. The service not cordial at all, not coming back.

First time coming here and I gotta say I enjoyed it! I got this chicken soup and it was so good, I want to recreate it myself. I can always tell if it’s a good Mexican restaurant when they have good rice and beans and this place does. My husband got the gorditas which he loved. Definitely a place to try just because the food is actually fresh!

I was excited to see that a new Mexican Restaurant was opening after El Nopal closed down.
Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed mainly by the service of this new place. Upon arrival we were greeted and asked to choose any table. After 10 minutes a waitress comes to hand us menus and walks away. I called her back and asked if she could at least take our drink order. After 10 minutes our drinks were still not delivered and I could see our waitress standing in the back. I called the cashier which also seemed to be the manager and said of we could get our drinks. They finally arrived and we put our lunch order. That was another chaos. Our order consisted of:
Steak tacos
Menudo
Side of beans
(This for $ 42)
Simple! It took nearly 45 minutes to come out! After asking the cashier again about it. She was very upset that I kept asking her. To say the least, food was not impressive.

Very good Mexican food. I had the chilaquiles rojos and my husband had the chile verde. Both were delicious with just the right spice. The salsa was nice and spicy like you’d expect from a respectable Mexican restaurant. I ate too fast for pics, so definitely worth a visit!
