We used to love the pizza but it seems the business is skimming on the ingredients lately due to not much business. The toppings are scarce and the quality is so so. The crust even seems thinner. For $ 12 a pizza should have more toppings. Not thin bell peppers here and there. Our other pizza was even low on jalapeños. Pretty disappointing.

Great pizza made the way we requested! Great service, as well = Our New Pizza Place!

Excellent pizza, clearly fresh ingredients, and friendly and prompt service. I have tried the all meat, combination, and pepperoni pizzas and all were excellent. Even the crust tasted very good. One of my friends commented that this is the best pizza he has ever had in El Paso.

Open for business? Perhaps not. Walked in after reading great reviews with my family and not a soul in the restaurant. Not even a host. The kitchen looked deserted. I walked outside to read the business hours and it said OPEN. Yet I go back in and no one in the place. Missed out on what I read was great pizza and they missed out on my money. Where’s the service? Where’s food? Where did everyone go? Might want to lock the doors if you don’t feel like cooking for your patrons.

Excellent pizza and salads. Service also very good, waitress was quick with our order and pizza came out quick. We will definitely be back.

This place has great food! Their pizzas only come in 14″, but that isn’t much of a problem because the price doesn’t break the bank. I ordered two specialty pizzas for less than $ 30, and they were ready within 20 minutes. The topping choices are good, the dough is great, and the brick oven taste is awesome. Hands down the best I’ve had in El Paso so far.

My husband and I ate here the other day and it’s pretty good. I loved the glass bowl décor and I loved the Disney music playing! The bread plate appetizer was a little under done(doughy in the middle), but was still super good otherwise. The pizza was great, the staff was really friendly, and all of our food came out quickly. They use fresh ingredients and it’s all home made. I would highly recommend this place, especially since it’s a local restaurant.

Really good pizza. I would say a 4.5. I will return. Service was good. If you’re looking for brick oven flavor, this is a pretty good hole in the wall style brick oven pizza place. Not like La Tosca, I would venture to say this place is better due to pizza size for the cost. One pizza is good size for two. Yet again, more like a nice hole in the wall joint rather than a ‘pinky out’ while eating if you know what I mean. Overall, pretty good and worth checking out…

The pizza was good, but the crust was not cooked well in the middle and had some major sogginess. It did have some crispy edges which was nice. Takes a while to get a pizza so keep that in mind. I eat a lot of brick oven pizza and still would say this place is worth trying. This place comes close to nailing it. The drink menu is limited to non-alcoholic, but you can grab an espresso. The Italian soda is worth trying too. This place has some service issues that need to be addressed.

My wife and I decided to try Artisan, we walked in and there was two other tables taken. We sat at a dirty table, all of the empty table that i saw were dirty, and sat there for about ten mins without a single person coming to our table to help us. The waiter was just standing behind the counter twiddling his thumbs. But he was able to help everyone walking in for take out.

I found myself not wanting more from this place. The waitress didn’t know the menu, we asked simple questions and she read off the menu to answer. We waited for our waters and teas for 15 minutes. We received our pizzas after waiting 30 minutes more; we were the only ones here!!! Some were good, others burned bottoms and crust. The salad greens were old and not crisp. After eating what we could, it took forever to get our checks and they were wrong, had to go back and correct. I didn’t like the service, food or the time we wasted for lunch. I don’t like this place very much. Don’t waste your time… order Papa Johns.

I’ve eaten here a couple of times. Both times have been great for service and food quality. I really can’t ask for much more. Prices are reasonable and the location is convenient for me. Pizzas were cooked perfectly both times with great texture and great flavor. Loved the bread as well. There’s just something great about a small brick oven pizza joint, once you’ve had this place, you don’t go back to the pizza chains.

Went back and the service was great. I wish I knew our waiters name, he was great! We decided to give their new desserts a try and had the Ferrero tart. YUMMMMMM! Only reason it’s not a 5 for me was because our pizza order was wrong. I can’t wait to go back!

Best Pizza place in town! I have heard so much about this place and many people compare it with Café Italia! For my is far better than Café Italia, the place décor is unique the desserts, real italian coffe and i heard soon they will have Gelatto! And the home brick oven pizzas are way better than café italia! The service is totally different than café italia, last time i was at café italia the owner was so rude that i promise myself i wont go there anymore! Thank god we found this little place from italy in El Paso.

I have eaten here twice in the last three weeks and find the pizzas delicious. Yesterday, My wife and I shared a pizza and still took two slices home. We decided to custom select a cheese, chicken and mushroom pizza. Service was excellent. Very attentive. I have to say thus may be the best pizza joint in town. Definitely worth a visit.

Ok, so supposedly the owner of this place is the brother from the Café Italia guy. Right? The place was originally located off of Doniphan, very small, but delicious. It tasted EXACTLY like Café Italia(which is my favorite pizza in the planet, so far), except at Artisan, you can get a half Nutella calzone, and at Café Italia you couldn’t. Then they moved, and… it changed. They moved right next Ripe. Their hours are flexible, which is perfect since Café Italia is closed Sundays and Mondays. My husband and I went in and the menu is exactly the same as before, and the same as Café Italia’s. We ordered iced tea, but they don’t have Splenda… Ok who doesn’t have Splenda now a days? Also, we love our pizza with ricotta cheese… they don’t have ricotta cheese. Ok plain pepperoni. We also ordered the Caprese salad, because it’s a must. When we got our Caprese, the cheese didn’t taste home made, it felt a bit store bought. But we ate it anyway, because it wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t delicious. Then the pizza seemed different, it’s not as thin as Café Italia’s, or the way they used to serve it at their old location, it has about a quarter inch of bread at the bottom. BTW my husband loved that because he says you get more bang for your buck… Ok whatever. Then, when I wanted Parmesan cheese, they didn’t have it fresh. I think that’s super essential if you have an artisan pizzeria restaurant. When we went for the second time, we already knew what to expect. Except this time was a little terrible. The food was the same, but the guy making the pizza was sick, and kept sneezing and blowing his nose. I’m sure he washed his hands, since there is a little faucet and sink next to the oven(it’s an open space where they make the pizza). Then when I got a refill on my iced tea, it tasted like watered down coke, literally. I told the waitress and she apologized, and then she said, we’re all out of tea, would you like water? Really? Who runs out of tea? Anyway, it’s not bad pizza, and I think my problem was comparing it to Café Italia. It’s something else, and it’s ok.

The pizza at this place is really good. My only complaint is that their pizza slices are smaller than a usual pizza place’s pizza should be. They have really good salads too. I would recommend this place to anybody who has a family and likes pizza.

Simply put, this is by far my favorite pizza place. The dough and sauce is fantastic. The cheese is wonderful. This is not the kind of pizza most people are probably used to, but it’s everything that real pizza should be. Fresh and delicious! I recommend the simple and straightforward pepperoni pizza and the Nutella dessert.

I was expecting something slightly different when it comes to a brick oven pizza. The crust was soggy and undercooked in the middle but tough around the edge. The flavor of the sauce, cheese and toppings was ok, but the cheese and toppings try to slide right off the pizza at every moment. I went on a Thursday and the place was empty except for one table, which is not a good sign. Hopefully the food will improve and the customers will come because with some improvement it could have been a really good pizza. The service was great, but since I took the food to go it’s difficult to judge how they would be if dining in.

Pretty good pizza. I had the Margherita and I though it was good but the dough was a bit on the soft side. Lacked that perfectly crunchy bite you want in a naples style pizza, which is curious because the crust was nicely charred unlike the bottom. I guess the oven wasnt hot enough. Caprese was a bit cluncky but tasty and seasoned well. I look forward to this place improving over time.
