I’ve been to several places that thread eyebrows and I’ve never been back to any of those places more than once.
I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and I really like Yvonne. I especially love how she does my eyebrows. She shapes it better than anyone I know. I have whatever eyebrows. Nothing to take notice of and nothing more than ordinary but when I get my eyebrows done here, I get compliments (even from make up artists).
It’s tough to read the bad reviews on here because there are some truth to it. I’ve been cut before too. The first time I got a cut I was pissed and never wanted to come back again, but like I said she’s the best eyebrows threader I’ve ever come across for the shape I want. Other places shape them too thin. She has cut me probably a total of 3 times in the 10 years I’ve come to get my eyebrows done here. It’s almost a normal thing. Lol. Sad to say. It’s worth it for me. I don’t have scaring or anything. Just a tiny cut that goes away in a couple days.
I just love her work too much to subtract any stars.
Despite the bad reviews there are a lot of girls who come here to get their eyebrows threaded and it seems like that’s what this place is known for «the lady who threads your eyebrows». There are always a handful of girls who come in when I come in. But that’s what I’m afraid of. When there’s a lot of girls waiting for her, I feel as if she rushes and does a partial decent job on my brows. When it’s just 1 or 2 waiting my eyebrows will turn out fine.
I feel bad for the other lady who works here who just does nails. She sits around all day hoping for someone to get their nails done. I would go to her but it doesn’t look like she’s very popular so I’d rather save myself from getting upset for a job I would be unhappy with.
This place used to be busier 10 years ago. Now it’s just eyebrow lady and the one manicurist.
Simply put: Come here if you want nicely shaped eyebrows. Don’t come here for sweet talk and amazing customer service. It’s $ 8 for threading. You can’t expect much more than that. It’s worth your brows on fleek

I walked out of this rude effin place. First of all she has a disgusting attitude and when I asked her colors she pretty much gave me attitude and told me yeah sit down and I’ll give them to you. Omg I got so bothered by that cause of her nasty aura. And then she gave me a small little container with a small amount of colors and I asked you don’t have OPI she answered me all snooty NO and said nothing more so I left. Screw this place.

Rule #1: If you’re opening a business, at least be there on time. Waste of my time. Waited 30 mins for eyebrows and still she is a no show.

I’ve been coming here to get my eyebrows threaded for over 3 years by Yvonne and i leave content everytime. She’s the only person i trust with eyebrows! It’s $ 8 to get fully threaded brows, she also trims & tweezes the hard to get hairs when she’s almost finished. It’s really fast! Takes no more than 10 mins & she makes sure your brows are looking fierce & groomed before she is finished with you.

I have been getting my eyebrows done by Yvonne for the past 7 years. During my time with her she has left my eyebrows really well and at other times really bad. Do not get your eyebrows done if there is a lot of people waiting, she will rush and mess up your eyebrows. Even after the times she has left me unhappy about my eyebrows I still went back to give her another chance.
I recently moved about 20 minutes away from her salon and would still make the drive out to her. This last time she was in a rush, even though there were no clients waiting and of course she messed up my eyebrows. I went back the next day and I started to tell her (in a nice way) that I did not like the way she left them and addressing what I would like to get fixed. She cut me off and said «your eyebrows are already like that!» She was so bothered and kept sighing during the process. I will not be returning to her ever again.

This review is only for the eyebrow threading by Yvonne. Be prepared, there’s a reason my sister and I call it a «torture session»… It’s because eyebrow threading hurts, that’s why! Once you get beyond that, and are prepared with the fact that some pain is involved, Yvonne is a great at shaping eyebrows. She’s not there to chat, so don’t expect a friendly gossip session. She’s strictly there to get the job done, and at $ 8, it’s a great deal. I have a few girlfriends who go to her, and I’ve never, ever heard anyone say they’ve been cut, and the place isn’t dirty either. The usual comment is: «I hope Yvonne’s in a good mood…» I guess she’s a tiny bit more gentle if she is. But seriously, it’s a thread yanking out about 15 of your eyebrows hairs at a time, so does it matter if she is? Just do it. They turn out great.

Love the lady that shapes eyebrows here! She does a fantastic job in a matter of minutes, and always makes me feel beautiful! The price is also another plus, Only $ 8 for eyebrow threading! Highly recommended!

eyebrows, however I did have to suffer just for this nice shape.
–4 stars for the following: customer service is not friendly. If you don’t greet the workers first, they will let you sit down and wait without even asking what service you would like. This didn’t happen to me personally, but I saw it happen to two other customers.
The tread that is used is not the proper thread that should be used when threading eyebrows. She uses regular thread for sewing clothes. There is a thread specially made for eyebrows; it’s much thinner and is less painful bc it is so fine.
Also I’ve been cut a few times. I will post a pic to prove it. One time when I pointed a cut out to the threader, Yvonne, she said that my eyebrows were already like that when I came in, which was a total lie.
She is also very rough. On top of already using the wrong thread her harsh handling does not make it any less painful.
This place is also very dirty. You can tell from the moment you walk in. It seems like not too many people purchase their beauty supplies so everything there looks very old & crusty. The nail polishes for sale are discolored and gross.
I come here when I need shaping but get clean up’s elsewhere.

Eye brows; The lady here only does threading & has many years experience. She does an awesome job! It don’t hurt & in my opinion the hair takes longer to grow back. 5 stars for threading!
Pedicures; I don’t recommend! I got one done here & it had to be the worst pedi ever! She left dirt around my toe nails & made me bleed. No starts deserved!
Manicure; I don’t recommend! I had fake nails on & had them removed so I was in need of
a mani. She didn’t soak my nails but 30 seconds in water & left dirt under my nails. After the mani was done you could still see that I had nails removed (lines on my nails weren’t filed). No stars deserved!
To the owner, personally I feel that when a client walks in for service on our face, hands & feet should be treated as if I was going to be on tv, or as if it was my wedding day!
Meaning you should do your best work every time, every client!

The main lady who threads eyebrows is good, and for $ 40 they do a full face thread. Sometimes if there is a rush, they will ask you if you want the other lady to do your eyebrows. she is nicer, but three times she gave me small multiple scabs under my eyebrow. If you dont wanna wait for the main lady, just go another day

Yvonne is the best for threading she gets you in and out and been going to her since I was in high school. Regular every 2 weeks

been getting my eyebrows threaded here for 2 years. never found a better place for a better price. the person who threads is awesome. does it super quick and super well. would highly recommend it for anyone

I only really go here to get my eyebrows threaded. There is a lady there that does a wonderful job and she makes it as quick and painless as possible. It’s also only $ 8.00.
I’ve had my eyebrows waxed here before but I don’t know if I’d do it again. I know they also do nail and you can sit in the massage chair for an extra dollar. The prices here are fairly cheap but I think the could afford to have a bigger selection of colors. The ladies are very helpful but they do speak English with a Vietnamese accent and they will try to sell you extra services (waxing, nails, etc…) no matter what you come in for.
