Average stuff but however the customer service was outstanding I mean I walk up and I see the assian lady playing with a customer who was buying loto & was speaking complete Spanish to her and she understood everything he was saying, it puts a smile on your face when u see that but then again most assian old school owners in ELMONTE do speak and understand Spanish still puts that smile on your face, I got a half dozen but then she talked me into a full dozen and gave me my 12 and a free Apple fritter I like them will come back if I wants doughnuts in the future

I’ve been coming here since I was a child. They don’t remember me but they remember my dad. They are super nice and they speak other languages which is super convenient. They deserve 5 stars but the cleanliness is quite bad. Don’t think they wiped down tables like they’re supposed to. They have games which aren’t turned on. I think they need a little remodeling because its exactly the same as it was years ago. Nostalgic yes, but it would look a lot nicer with some changes. I don’t really like burgers much but this place has amazing burgers. I’d choose this place over In n Out.

I stop by here every now and then to get donuts for my co-workers. A mixed dozen is only $ 7.00. The lady is very friendly know what all her regulars want. Donuts are fresh, but I can’t have them, I’m diabetic. So I drop Mickey D’s for some sausage muffins for me and my other co-worker. They sell lotto and scratcher’s too.

Stopped by for a apple fritter. With the first bite, I had a strange oily taste in my mouth. The lady was nice, but wished the fritter was good.

Forget the donuts. The customer service and the warmth of the owner was a delight. Place is pretty clean and there’s plenty of parking for the little shopping row.

This is my second review on the place. Well, I don’t really write a lot of reviews but must say after trying it out a couple of times and then getting the cake in my office for about 20 people and the taste/size of the tray, I am truly amazed again. I saved some for my kids and they also went crazy over it. Its great to know that you can trust the quality of the food and that has always been my biggest criteria. BTW, there was none left by the time everyone left for the day :) I am going to be repeat customer of this place and thanks Unilocal for discovering this great joint !!!

I love coming to this donut shop! The owners are always greeting you with a smile, which makes patronizing this mom-and-pop shop so pleasant! I can’t decide what I like most… On a hot day, you gotta have their Thai iced tea with boba. Super good! Not too sweet either. I like it better than Boba Loca’s! Or try some of their $ 0.50 a scoop ice cream. Yeah, seriously! Just $ 0.50 a scoop with no extra charge for cones. On a cold day or first thing in the morning, you gotta have their coffee. I swear it’s better than Starbucks! There’s something aromatically different about their coffee and their specialized creamer. Not sure what it is, but I love it… and it REALLY wakes you up. Lastly, I love their cheeseburger combos. It’s highway robbery for the price, which I believe is only $ 3.75 for a made-to-order cheeseburger, amazing fries(not too salty and crisp to perfection), and a drink. I highly recommend this donut shop for all the above reasons!

I’ve been coming here for years and one of my favorite things to order is actually the hamburger combos! haha. Who would have thought a donut shop would have decent burgers!!! And seriously, these aren’t just decent — they’re damn good!!! They make the burgers to order so the bad part is that it takes 10 — 15 minutes to get your order sometimes. Well worth the wait though! And if there’s a long line or huge orders before yours, it’s gonna’ take longer than that. But trust me, oddly enough, this place is one of THEBEST burger joints around! The prices for the combos are pretty good too — I think it’s like $ 3.25 for a cheeseburger combo that comes with fries and a drink. And yeah, the fries are bomb! They always give a nice portion too. This burger joint(Donut Shop??? haha) and In and Out are the only two burger places that I would recommend! Try it out. I bet you’ll have a new favorite burger joint like me and my homies!

YUMMIESTPOUNDCAKEEVER! I don’t like cakes much or pastries or donuts. But I liked pound cake at Steve’s donut place, a LOT. The other day, someone brought a huge pound cake from this donut place at work. I saw lot of my co-workers munching on it like crazy and I was tempted. I could not stop myself from taking a big piece 2 – 3 times. It was yummiest cake ever. My wife and daughter also liked this cake very much. If this sounds like a rant, it is. This is internet people! But seriously, I don’t know about other delicacies at Steve’s but definitely give a try to their pound cake. You will not regret it! (Only 4 stars because I have not tried anything else but pound cake.)

Let’s be real. As much as Krispy Kreme would like us to believe it, there ain’t a whole lot of difference between assorted donuts from store A vs. store B. What got me to notice this mom-n-pop shop was their customer service. I came here a few times to get some assorted pink boxes for the coworkers. Each time, not only were the employees super-friendly, the lady either threw in some extra donuts or bags of donut holes just for the heck of it. Awesome! Now, why can’t my doctor throw in an extra CT scan, or the Acura salesman throw in an extra sport package just ’cause? Good donuts + big smiles + extra goodies to go = I’m sold.
