I sprained my ankle many years back in middle school, and I’ve come here for the accupressure since. Thankfully I don’t need to come too often, because when I’m here, it means I’m in serious pain! Dr. Chiang is excellent — my family has been seeing him since his office was in Chinatown. If you haven’t tried acupressure before, it’s different from acupuncture. There are no needles involved, just a vast quantities of Chinese herbal medicine applied externally, and vigorous, painful massaging. I do not have the price for a session of acupressure, but I believe it is around $ 50 – 60. It seems a bit expensive, but I think it’s worth it for the pain it alleviates. Heads up: Dr. Chiang speaks Mandarin Chinese, so there can be a language barrier. He understands some English, and you can point to areas that hurt.
