I had Tofu, sweet potato mash and broccoli And it was good. Simple and healthy and clean! I totally recommend this place it’s good and you don’t have to worry about extras that aren’t good for you.

I came here today after the gym with my boyfriend because we wanted something healthy along with a protein shake. I was so excited because I’ve heard of B Nutritious for awhile! I chose my own meal and ordered potatoes as carbs, chicken breast as my protein, and asparagus for vegetables. My boyfriend ordered the chicken teriyaki. We also ordered the proteins shakes that they had(berry and strawberry were the two flavors we got, not sure if there were any other flavors). The protein shakes were $ 6.95 each… Unbelievable! The total of the 4 items came out to be $ 33.01… We weren’t expecting to spend that much money on HEALTHY food and protein shakes. Honestly, it really isn’t that bad, but considering that the food is very easily made at home, I was not amused. My boyfriend loves fitness and protein shakes and all that, so when he tasted the protein shake(berry), he said it was one of the worst protein shakes he’s ever had, considering he’s had plenty. Considering that I haven’t tried many protein shakes from different places before, I wasn’t too depressed about the purchase. Either way, we could have gone to Jamba Juice for the protein shake. It wouldn’t have disappointed us as much. As for the food, it was tasty in a healthy way but definitely not worth the $ 33.01 we paid for! My boyfriend ALWAYS makes lemon pepper chicken breast when he’s back at his dorm, and tasting the chicken here made me realize how expensive this meal REALLY was. When he’s dorming, he usually buys chicken breast as well, which comes with large amounts that is basically under $ 10 that will last him a whole week with several meals. I was just astonished by how much B Nutritious makes off people just by the simplest of foods that are SUPPOSED to be healthy and lacking flavor! Anyways, I probably wouldn’t come back, not that it necessarily matters because I am one less customer. However, I suggest that anyone who wants to eat healthy, to just make these meals at home!!! It is fairly fairly fairly easy to prep these meals at home, maybe taking up 1 – 2 hours of your week. Research healthy recipes or just add some salt and seasoning into your protein and vegetables and it’ll be just as great. Save the money!!! I’m actually kind of sad we spent money on this meal although it was relatively tasty and not considered«bad.» If I were to make a suggestion, I would like this place to ATLEAST have the meal come with a drink or a protein shake!!! It honestly does not cost a fortune to buy the ingredients found in the food. Many people who like the food here are college students on a budget who just want a healthy meal without having to spend an arm and a leg EVERY week! I wouldn’t say that this is hard to afford but it definitely wouldn’t be worth it. Although thank you for being friendly during my visit here.

No bad options to choose from. Everything from start to finish is not only delicious but guilt free! Shrimp pineapple fried brown rice is my go to. The owner Brian chatted with me for a bit, shared his weight loss and fitness journey with me. So inspiring!

B Nutritious is a healthy alternative for eating out and I can’t say enough how happy I am that it is here given my busy lifestyle. First, I used B Nutritious to prep my meals for the CA Bar exam and I am happy to say that the meals kept me full and gave me energy to sit through the 3 day exam without feeling sluggish. The food is also tasty and the secret sauce? AMAZING. I love it. Working at a law firm, I am constantly working late nights and on the weekends so it’s hard to prep meals. Thus, I love how convenient and healthy B nutritious is. For those who complained of the food lacking in flavor, I want to remind you that the food is supposed to be HEALTHY. I love how B Nutritious doesn’t over season their food and this allows you to add more seasoning where you see fit. The staff is also very friendly. :)

This place is pretty fantastic. Though I wouldn’t have found that out had I not actually come in and eat there. I would go and eat with my g/f at her work and a few of her coworkers would get food there. Seeing what it came with, I scoffed at the food that was in there and at the price they paid for it. I am a cheap person, so I figured I could make my own meals like they do for a waaaaay cheaper price. When I would make my own B*Nutritious type of meal, something was missing. Or something would be too overpowering for a simple starch, protein, veggie kind of meal. I finally caved on my cheap morals and gave this place a try, and it was… really good! The inside is very spacious for it’s lackluster exterior, and seating is very accomdating. There are tables and chairs and benches and tables. It is very cozy. Menu is simple and the staff was very helpful. Was service the thing missing with my own home cooked meals? Would I have enjoyed it more had I served myself with a smile? No, that wasn’t it. Maybe eating on a picnic table like atmosphere with some cool plants would do the trick… but no, that wasn’t it either. I ordered my food and created my own mix of items. I got some brown rice, tofu, and some asparagus(things I don’t normally cook at home). I decided that wasn’t going to be enough food remembering my g/f’s coworkers’ meals and seeing Unilocal pictures, so I ordered a side of green beans.(With the 10% off first order check in offer, I was ballin!) Total turned out to be around $ 10. Not bad. Got my food and ate. Everything was alright. The rice looked nice in a perfect scoop, the asparagus was plentiful and not too thick, and the tofu was grilled and had a good crust on it. It came with a pink hued dipping liquid that was sweet, maybe lemon or rice wine vinegar with garlic and Splenda or Stevia. I don’t know, it was interesting. I saw some condiments at the table in the back and got some Sriracha, pepper, and some weird orange looking sauce in a bottle. When in Rome… OMG. Dat sauce, tho… so good! Didn’t even use the Sriracha by itself because the sauce tasted like it had it, but better. That sauce changed the game of food as we know it! Well at least the food at B*Nutritious. It was spicy and complemented everything on my plate. Who knew something like that could make good, fresh food even better? I now know the secret to deliciousness! And although I still cook at home and make my own food with my own version of that awesome sauce, I still return and support this restaurant. Everything they have is delicious and dare I say, Nutritious? Will have to try the prepared pineapple shrimp fried rice, and even the peanut chicken bowl… I can’t seem to order it when I can make my own creation of food flavors. I still need to try the salmon because I don’t want to spend so much on fish and be disappointed(yeah I’m talking to you Tomo! Expensive teriyaki salmon and you get a small piece of cooked salmon, very thin… yes shade has been thrown. But I digress) I know the food will be great here and quality and portions are great for the price Keep it up B*Nutricious and I commend the owner and everyone here for always making my time there very enjoyable and worth it!

For being healthy I enjoyed every last bite of my teriyaki bowl! I’m trying this thing called eating healthy for a bit and definitely not dwelling on the fact I can’t eat in n out or Noodle world. Thank you for the start of a great journey.

Not a big fan of healthy food, but if I were to meal prep, I would definitely go here! Restaurant is extremely spacious with a ton of picnic tables to sit at, and the space was open and airy. I came to check out their breakfast, and got their eggs, pancakes, and fruit. Definitely try and buy their GOE sauce– it is amazing! Basically their version of spicy sauce that tastes mustardy but so good. I drizzled it on my eggs, and I will only eat my eggs with this sauce from now on! I have not tried their lunch yet, so I can’t really say much about this place. I need to come back when I’m trying to get healthy! haha

This place is simple and pretty darn good. You can order a protein(i.e. chicken, salmon, etc.) with a veggie(i.e. broccoli, asparagus, etc.) and a carb(i.e. potato, sweet potato, etc.) It’s filling, and good. I gotta admit, the black container that they serve their food in looks pretty small but they sure pack the food in there. I had potatoes, broccoli, and chicken. I did manage to eat the whole meal and was pretty full. They don’t put a lot of seasoning on the items so remember to get the orange sauce. The sauce is spicy but really, really good.(Don’t mix this sauce up for the red sriracha). For a simple, clean, meal, this is a good choice. The location is a bit weird but I don’t mind since I’m in the area often.

November 2015 — bookmarked B Nutritious as a reminder to try it one day. January 2016 — went to the Fitness Center open house at work. B Nutritious was there and I got to sample their pineapple fried rice with a hint of their signature spicy sauce. Three days later — okay, it’s a sign. I’ll stop by B Nutritious for a meal to go for dinner. And I won’t feel guilty about it because it’s pretty healthy! I ordered their peanut chicken bowl off their house favorites menu. For $ 7.50, I got a large bowl of rice(I picked brown rice for an additional 50 cents) topped with chopped lean chicken and seasoned with peanut sauce. I went a little crazy with their spicy sauce and added too much. Crazy good and crazy hot! Portion was enough for a meal and a half. Even though I took it to go, there is plenty of indoor seating at B Nutritious. Very modern, open, and green looking(succulent plants as table centerpieces, etc.). They have a parking lot in the back or you can go with street parking. They are literally right next to the 10 freeway. Oh yea, they also do meal packages too(if you want to plan out your meals for the week) and deliver! While waiting for my order, I saw them put together a meal package bag for someone else and it sure looked good!

I finally got to check this place out last weekend. A hidden spot if you don’t know the area. I’m not sure how anyone will discover this place without word of mouth or social media. The outside looks like a shack, but the inside is totally modern, clean and hip. For the menu, you can opt for the pre made bowls or make your own. There’s a good amount of meat selection to choose from for your myob and all the meats are priced differently. The first step to the myob is choosing your carbs, meat then vegetables. Myob chicken($ 8.5): I went with brown rice, chicken and broccoli. The rice and broccoli were both steamed and plain(healthy). I can’t really pinpoint how the chicken was marinated, but it was good. It went really well with the plain veggies and rice. The dishes do look like something you can make at home, but I’m lazy. So I’ll definitely come back when Im feeling the need to be healthy. Price: $$ expensive for what looks like you can make at home. Being healthy isn’t cheap. Portion 1:1 Parking: street Ambiance: quiet, spacious, relaxing Service: quick and nice

This was my 2nd time coming into the restaurant. The first time I didn’t try the food, so I didn’t have a Unilocal review for it myself, but my gf was picking up her meal preps for the week after we visited the LA Fit Expo. After my gf highly recommended it, we just so happened to be in the area once again so we picked up her weekly meal preps. I decided to pick up some salmon, Bok choy and cabbage myself since I didn’t have my meal preps with me. And omg!!! It was absolutely delicious! The bok choy and salmon was cooked to perfection, and who knew cabbage could be so tasty! To some it may seem plain and boring, however, you can always add salt, dressings and sauces accordingly, but just like any other«healthy» restaurant, you’re not really staying healthy if you add all the«magic» sauce or additional dressing on top of it. But that’s just my two cents. So let me get off my high horse and just commend Bryan, the owner/manager, and his staff on such a wonderful establishment! I hope this place stays around forever because it is such a great healthy option for all you foodies! It is a MUST visit over and over again! w

This is great place to get healthy food when you’re too lazy to cook for yourself. Key words: healthy food and lazy! Great place for clean eating. Let’s face it, sometimes healthy food isn’t the saltiest or greasiest, that’s why it’s healthy. If you want overly salted food, then go elsewhere. Someone mentioned that the brown rice was hard. Well, that’s just the texture of brown rice. If you want fried white rice, go to your local Chinese restaurant or heck, even Panda Express. I really like this place. It’s convenient and it’s prepackaged. I don’t have to think about the calories because for the most part, the portions are good when you’re trying to eat healthy. Their meal packages are fair in price and pretty comparable if you were to buy fast food. Of course I can make this at home. It’s just about convenience when I’m feeling lazy.

It feels very healthy to eat here. Only complain is if you go step by step order, the portion is really small. The pineapple shrimp fried rice was good and big portion tho. The area is kinda dead, I hope they keep the biz going.

Immaculate, clean and neat is what your greeted by when you enter this place. I love the menu options, all are healthy, this is my second time here today, a late lunch. I ordered the seared tilapia, which arrived seasoned perfectly, I also had steamed asparagus & steamed brown rice. They have expanded the selection of healthy drinks. I did not have dessert, but they looked neat and fresh in the display. The only thing that feels weird is the picnic style seating, although I like sitting by the window, where there are plenty of outlets to keep devices powered. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional, the wait on food is not very long. The to go containers are rugged, sturdy and not flimsy, they can be used many times after you leave the restaurant

Sorry to be the one breaking the 5 star trend here, but I really didn’t think this place was that good. Yes, it is indeed healthy, but it’s so simple to the point that anyone with some basic cooking skills can easily make at home. Some of the food is so bland. I guess that’s why it’s healthy, since it doesn’t have all the extra msg, etc. in it. When I go out to eat, I want something that I really couldn’t make at home myself. This just feels like something I can easily put together. Environment though is pretty chill. It has that hipster vibe and you can bring your laptop and do some work here if you want.

So my bf has been bothering me about this place for the longest time and since this place was on the way to Hard Summer, we dropped by and finally tried it. My bf and I shared the Pineapple Shrimp Fried Rice and it was soooo yuummyy! I honestly had no interest in trying this place at all LOL, but I’m so glad I did! This place is so perfect for health nuts and gym junkies, although I’m not either lmaooo… I’d still order this as a reg. meal. To order, you can customize your own meal prep choosing carbs or no carbs, veggies, and protein ORRR you can choose from the House Favs ORRR salads. They range from $ 7 — $ 14 a meal! Interior is super clean and spacious. Service was friendly also! Very impressed. I’ve been wanting to come back againnn :)

Not much in the area around it, but don’t let that deter you from giving it a try! It’s rare to find healthy options nowadays, so I think this establishment does a great job of filling in that void. I love how you can still eat healthy foods without sacrificing the quality or taste! I’ve come in once and I will definitely be a regular customer. The ambience is very clean, hip, and welcoming. Everything is pretty straightforward with the menu. SERVICE: Even though this is a to-go type place(order & pay, then sit and eat or take out), service is still top notch. Everyone there is really friendly and approachable. If you have any questions or changes, they are more than willing to try to accommodate if you need it! PINEAPPLESHRIMPFRIEDRICE: I ordered it with brown rice because I felt like it. Hands down, the best brown rice version of fried rice. If you blindfolded me, I wouldn’t even tell it’s brown rice. Such a healthy option with egg whites and no added fat or oil-perfect for carb-lovers like myself without the guilt! The portion size doesn’t look big, but it’s quite the amount as you’re eating. You can totally share it was someone or save some for later and just be as content. It’s sprinkled with the healthy FlavorGod seasoning. SPECIALSAUCE: Brian’s special sauce is amazing. I am all about the spicy and this is it. I wanted to steal the bottle home because I think it’s better than Sriracha(but I guess that’d be illegal :/). It definitely has some sort of Sriracha and honey mustard mix in it, but just throw that thing on everything you order. It’s LOWINCALORIES. It’s amazing, I swear by it. Still a lot of things to try. Can’t wait to come back!

I’ve dined in at the B Nutritious on a couple occasions and the food is so good, it’s hard to believe it’s healthy! You can either create your own meal by choosing a carb(or double veggies instead for a carb free option), protein and vegetable. I LOVEE the tofu with purple yams! Or you can order some delicious house favorites, mine is the pineapple shrimp fried rice. There also a house sauce at the condiment and water counter that is bomb on everything! And they have great beverages from coffees to matcha green tea. They also carry some yummy healthy snacks like protein truffles by lilys lean machine and protein donuts by sd protein co. The cookie dough truffle is AMAZING. And the chocolate Ube donut was pretty tasty as well. I’ve also ordered prepped meals from B Nutritious for over the past year. It’s the perfect meal prep service! Tastes great and convenient for staying on my diet but don’t have time to cook, weigh or box up my meals myself. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to prepare my meals during a fitness competition prep and the meals are so good I’ve just stayed a loyal customer to get me through my days working two jobs. The staff and owner are super friendly. I love stopping by for lunch on the weekends and catching up with the staff on all the exciting stuff coming to B Nutritious in the future!

What I’ve been looking for! A healthy place to eat at and won’t feel guilty about later. Your meal prep without preparing. I was just driving by and noticed the name on the store. It looked so familiar to me. Then I realized I’ve seen this on Instagram! They opened a store!!! And it’s so close by my place. Score! The gals working were very nice and friendly, instructing me on how to make my order. There’s a mini clip board with the menu, you’ll just mark your choice of Carb, Protein, and Fiber. This is so perfect for me. I usually prepare my daily meals once for the rest of the week so I can focus on my fitness goals. Towards the end of the week, my last few meals aren’t as fresh. So to be able to come here and have a hot healthy«cleaning eating» meal, I’m satistfied. You would think healthy foods are boring, plain and bland. But my fish was so well seasoned and not too salty at all. It actually had a bit of a citrus flavor to it. Perfectly cooked and crispy on the edges. The yams, omg! So sweet and soft. The aparagus are steamed to a nice crunch. The perfect well balanced meal for a health«freak.» And they have this coffee in a can that is 50 calories! It’s so good. This coffee lover is happyyyyyy!(Not the caffeine talking) Clean eating don’t have to be boring. Now with this place around the corner, I can pick up or have them deliver it to after a long work day. Yay!
