This is a great neighborhood park that the junior high school across the street uses during gym classes. It’s also where you can watch people play frisby golf/football. Walk your dog, let the little people in your life play on the enclosed play structure. Soccer teams have practice and games here. We just walk around the perimeter on the paved path. There are rest rooms, but you have to pay for a key to get access. No picnic tables and no bar-b-ques. You still could toss a blanket on the lawn and have a meal or snack. Or read a book and enjoy the breeze. Baseball is a big use of this park. Lots happening here almost all year long.

Cerrito Vista Park was better than I could have hoped for. Being new to the Bay Area with 2 kids age 4&6 can be a challenge. We are momentarily a 1 car family and often have to venture out on foot. This park was a 1 mile jaunt from our house & a treat for Mom & the kids! The playground equipment is top notch, though geared toward the somewhat older child. There is a toddler area behind the big playground as well. This park is worth the trip, especially if the kids have been cooped up inside and need to expend a little energy. There is a large fenced in field next to the park & the playground is fenced in too.
