Best place in town for my weekend breakfast! And the friendliest service! A special thanks to Conchita! Always with a smile!

I’m giving this place 5 stars on the scary factor… I cannot describe this place in any other word… Scary. Patrons are frightening… There might be a full set of teeth between all of them.

This place should be called the crash landing. If you’re looking for tone deaf passive aggressive elderly karaōke fans that have been over served to a level best described as negligent this bar is for you.

Everything was great when we went for brunch. I highly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch or dinner… food was prefect and made exactly how we wanted it! Plus right next door they have their own bar if you want dinner then go for some drinks. Come Here…

I cannot help but LOVE this place! The bartenders are super cute and friendly, the people are nice and funny that go here, and they seem to do a lot for people’s birthdays and all types of celebrations so there is food here a lot of times! I recommend it to anyone! OH… and they open at 6AM… SERIOUSLYCOOL!

I stopped in 6 hours from home, a liitle unsure, but thirsty and hot! The bar tender, Tammy is awesome! Service, cold beer, top notch jukebox, karaōke EVERY bight… I just found my new fave spot when I’m down! It’s a spacious, clean, low key, «hole in the wall»

Not even one star. The best thing about this place was the light show and the one girl who could sing Adele. The drinks were overpriced for the amount and the atmosphere. The KJ took break after break, played too much music and didn’t put people up to sing in any normal order. Trashy people and some guy undressing on stage to his boxers — drunk old guy — should NOT have been allowed to stay there. During a break he had a microphone and was just screaming into the thing while a song played. My first and last visit there!!!

Went for cheap drinks and trashy atmosphere, stayed for the 30 person bar room brawl. +2 stars for the violence, –2 for the number of cops that ended up showing up. Apparently this made the news too!

The Landing is definitely the best dive bar in el cajon. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. Cheap drinks, free karaōke, and a pool table make this place the ultimate bar for a casual good time. Need to escape the«top 40’s, bass bumping, overly crowded club» environment? If you just want to enjoy your beer and some good company, then this is the place for you.

Freaking amazing. This place on a Saturday night, karaōke! And like nobody singing. My friends and I. just 5 of us girls. We walk in and every time we got up to sing, we got to sing 2 songs at a time. I gave a 2 star because. well honestly its super sketch and divey, but hey that is El Cajon. I gave a 2 star because. well the bar manager/owner/whatever was a little much. He first walked in to welcome us, wanted to make sure we felt safe(I told you. it is sketch) which is really nice and all. except then he kept asking if he could take our pictures to post them to his website. He was so excited that new customers were there, and we were making it look like a party, but we had to decline is offer, just a little. a little. creepy. But ooh, he did invite us back for the karaōke competition on Monday nights.

Please don’t, it’s in the back of a restaurant so it’s small dark and cramped. The customers were questionable, I didn’t even dare get a drink, and the karaōke sounded like someone was dying. Stayed 10 min before we had enough and left.

It’s a dive bar, a bit run down, but every time I have been there the crowd and staff have been very welcoming and friendly. They have karaōke and everyone can try it and not feel intimidated. I went one New Years Eve, it was like a family party, patrons all brought appetizers etc. It’s a fun place, be open minded.

The Landing? I felt like I landed in a trailer park when I came here. Not gonna lie though, I had a blast from what I remember. Jello shots, karaōke, booze… yeah, I’m not really sure what else happened. I woke up with no voice, but what I did wake up with was my wallet, cell phone, and keys. That’s a good sign. My dignity is still missing though. Haven’t seen that in years.

Jerry the new owner is working hard fixing the place up, New paint, new TVs, new computer karaōke system and speaker. Karaōke 7 nights a week. Drink specials and lot of special events and potluck or free food. Its a great place to sing and and the regulars are very nice. If your in El Cajon on some week night and all the bars are closed early, swing by the Landing and you will fine it open and half full of customer.

I am not from East County so I don’t really know of any places to go out there. My boyfriend brought me to The Landing because he had been going there for years and knows just about everyone there. The place is total«dive bar» where the drinks are strong and the crowd can get a little rowdy, perfect fun for a Friday night! After a few drinks everyone gets up to do karaōke and if you’re bad, no one cares, lol… Great place to hang out and be casual…

Went in here the other night on a whim with a couple friends after a party because we wanted to do some karaōke. It wasn’t what we expected. Seems like an okay place if you’re crowd is a little older. People outside the bar were obnoxious and rude, everyone who worked there seemed nice though. When we went in it was kind of cheesy with christmas lights hanging up and seriously cracked fading red bar stools. There was a really strange permeating smell throughout the whole place. Two old ladies were in one of the booths and one of them was passed on on the table. If you’re a twenty-something this probably isn’t the place for you, just go somewhere else — but if you know people who frequent it give it a try I guess. We left awkwardly after sitting there for while.

Love this place. Kelly is the greatest bartender ever, she’s there almost every night, as well as every weekend. She will take great care of you and make sure you have the best time ever. Peggy and Orchid are wonderful karaōke hosts. If you can get past the trashy people outside in the parking lot you will have a great time once you walk through the door. For a DIVEBAR this place is great. All ages have fun here…21−80 y/o(even older)

I went to The Landing last night to attend a friend from work’s birthday party. She’s a frequent patron at this place and told me how much fun it is. She’s always a hoot, so I took her word for it. Although I’m a San Diego native, I’ve never ventured out to any bars deep in El Cajon until last night. I brought two girlfriends with me and told them to dress down, we’re not hitting up a downtown type of crowd tonight… lol! When we got there, we found our party right away and the second we sat down, we already started having a great time. Maria was our bartender and she came over to our booth and got our drink order right away. There’s free karaōke at this place all night, so if you feel like singing your little heart out like my pal Linsey, then go up to R.T. the D.J. and get your name on the list. To say I had a great time at The Landing would be an understatement. I was designated driver and had very little to drink, but when I was here, I felt like I didn’t need liquid courage to have that much fun. I’m never one that karaōke’s, but I somehow ended up on stage with the other girls singing«I Will Survive» thanks to Linsey who serenaded the birthday girl by belting out«I Will Always Love You» by Whitney-put-the-crack-pipe-down-Houston. If you’re wondering what to expect from The Landing, picture this… barely 21-year old vatos playing pool, Wrangler jeans-wearing cowboys playing darts while chewing on their tobacco, some older overly PDA couples at the bar on date night, and then our loud party of fifteen with a bunch of crazies mixed in the group. When we left there, my friend met a guy that introduced himself as ‘J-O-N’(yes, he spelled it out) and my blonde pal was offered $ 20 bucks to go home with some lesbo couple for a threesome. All I wanted to do was win a pink stuffed animal from the crane game in there, but it didn’t happen… is that too much to ask? =( We left there with some colorful, comical memories. Would we go back? Of course since Linsey had to get initiated into becoming a regular by being required to tell Maria the bartender«Bitch, get me a Captain & Coke!» She said it in fear of her life, but all 106 pounds of her was welcomed with open arms after that. After last night, I guess you can say I broke out of my comfort zone and had an awesome time!
