I’ve used this place a few times to get a pre-tan before going to Hawaii. Their fast beds are decent and the weekly price isn’t bad, $ 25 for ANY bed, which is a much better deal than any other place I’ve called. That said, the people who run this place are WEIRD! It is honestly the most bizarre business I’ve ever encountered. Although regular business hours are posted, they are rarely followed, so it’s best to call in advance to make sure that they are open. On weekends they allegedly open at noon, but I’ve driven by at 1:00 and they aren’t open. Most people can get out of bed before noon, even if they are hung over, so I don’t understand what the problem is here. Maybe they just can’t tell time or something. Like other people have said, the girls who work here are friendly enough, but the dude who appears to own the place is a whack job. I’ve walked in to find a motorcycle parked in the lobby, and another time he had a «back in 15 minutes» sign posted to the door while they were all sitting in the lobby having a meeting or something. 30 minutes later the meeting was still going on and the door was still locked. There are always sketchy looking guys hanging out with the girls who work there, it’s never just the girls. Also, no matter when I’ve gone to buy a week(which is always months and months apart) their card reader is always down and they want cash only. Fishy. If I tanned regularly this is the very last place I would come, but it’s been good in a pinch when I just need to go a few times. Every time I go there I totally expect the cops to show up and bust them for being a prostitution ring or something. LOL!

Ended up going to the hospital. Here’s a fun story. I bought a package here for monthly tanning and had been going for a few weeks. I had worked myself up to 16 minutes and had a pretty nice tan going on! I went in and asked to go again for 16 minutes,(out of max 20) The girl working in the front appeared preoccupied with flirting with a guy who was there to do some remodeling. She set me up for 16 minutes and I was on my way. After I finished tanning, I felt funny, sorta dizzy, skin burning, ect. I headed to work regardless. Over the next few hours my skin turned stop sign red and I began over heating. I left work, bought aloe and covered myself with it. That night I could not sleep, I couldn’t move my body due the pain from the burn, was shaking and began dry heaving. The next day I went to the hospital where they gave me pain killers, nausea medication so I could eat/drink and told me I had gotten sun poisoning. I missed 2 ½ days of work and my whole body peeled for over a month. When I went back a few days after this happened, I spoke with the wife of the owner. She explained to me that I had been put in a bed that had its bulbs replaced the day before and I should have only been allowed in for 8 minutes. I was in there for DOUBLE the time because some bimbo wanted to get her mack on. To top it off, I was not refunded anything, not apologized too. all she said was she could comp. me 2 extra weeks to be added to my package. Pass.

I have never been treated or talked to like that before. I am currently PRESSINGCHARGES! This man is on drugs or something and should not be aloud to get peoples information, he told my husband that he WOULDTAKE A GUNTOHIM! Its crazy its a tanning salon not drug house! Please do not go there you will be wasting your money!

I agree with many of the others. I should have checked here before I paid for three months. This place has been closed 6 of the last 12 days and always has some trumped up excuse why he as a business owner is incapable of running his business. He is RUDE to customers all the time and treats his employess like crap. I am writing down all the dates and times he is closed when I attempt to go there. He better extend my membership at the end.

I have been going to this salon for over 4 years and it has changed hands a few times during those years, but this new owner is a dishonorable person and NOTTOBETRUSTED. I had paid for a huge amount of points with the previous owner and when he realized how many points I had in my account I conviently disappeared from his computer. When I challenged this and asked to speak to one of his employee’s who knew my account, he told me she no longer worked there. I was arguing with him about the validity of my account when he told me, well I have to check into this because **** points is way too many and sounds fishy to me. When I said, how can you know how many points I have if you can’t find me in the computer. He said you just told me, I said, NO I made of point of not telling you. He didn’t like the balance I had invested in with the previous owner so he deleted the account. HEIS A THIEF, I wouldn’t trust this man with any personal information. He doesn’t open during regularly scheduled hours and keeps a small RV in the back and keeps going in and out to it… really really sketchy person. I went to another salon nearby and found every woman in there was a new customer who had left Sun Diego because of similar sketchy behavior… We have all reported him to the BBB and some women have even filed charges with the police department. DONOTGOHERE Oh yeah and he is the most expensive tanning salon I have ever walked into.

One star is 1 to many. Don’t go here, really… just don’t. I’ve had many monthly memberships here about a year ago and had a really good experience. All the girls that work here are very friendly and nice, it’s clean, reasonably priced and I like the beds. I went in today to get a membership and the only person there was the owner. I asked about the monthly membership that was usually $ 20 and he quoted me $ 30(cash only). I didn’t want to make a deal out of so I handed him over $ 40 anyway. He didn’t give me change and put my money in a drawer. He then answered a call from one of his employees, told her to get in ASAP and was very rude. After that, he ranted to me and called the girls that worked for him B*tches and went into their personal lives. He used a very wide range of profanities including racial slurs but I just let his frustrations be. He then asked me to step back so that he could take a better look at me. I then felt uncomfortable and asked him for a refund to which he stubbornly refused saying he was updating my account right now. I told him he was being unprofessional and I just wanted to leave with my money but he wouldn’t give it back to me. I was basically just robbed and I’m completely shaken by this experience. Very shady business practices. There are other options!

The ladies that work here are helpful and nice and don’t try to bother you about purchasing their lotions. They have really, really great packages and good beds. In other news, my butt is burnt. After two visits. Oops! :)

The high pressure beds are amazing. They bronze you and give you a golden tan. The 3 month package is only $ 138.

It’s a basic tanning salon that does the job what more can you ask for? It’s not all flashy or gotti. It’s close to where I live and the people that work there are nice. It’s pretty much the only one in the area unless you want to drive a couple miles.

I started tanning at this tanning salon back in April. I am addicted! They have really nice beds and the staff are friendly and helpful! I have recommended several people to tan here and they have had a great experience as well. :)
