This review is 10 years late, so the employees have all probably moved on by now, but I’d rather post the review late than never. I used to frequent this location. The employees quickly became friends, and I looked forward to my daily coffee break. One day tragedy struck my family. My brother was killed. I stopped in to pick up coffee for my family to take on our drive to his funeral in Los Angeles. I mentioned to my favorite cashier what had happened, and she gave me a hug and and some kind words. The next time I came in she had made me a condolence card. It was such a sweet gesture. It made such a hard time a little easier. I wish I could remember her name, because she was such an awesome person. Wherever she is, I hope she is doing well and having a fantastic life.

I have noticed alot of Punks hanging out here always using bathrooms and getting ice water. I seen one almost run over a customer who kinda jumped out of the way. Also they ignore the no smoking signs .And they smell bad. I hope they dont move to the new one lol

I gave one star for some of the nice workers behind the counter. I dread walking in there every time and I still go back because that’s the only one on my way to work. This is the third time that they do this to me… they forget me and my drink as I’m standing there right in front of them. My order is always a tall coffee… how complicated is that? They prepare all the specialty drinks for 2 – 3 customers that follow me and I would still be waiting there. Today I ordered a coffee extra hot(took 15 minutes) there were 4 customers that came in after me who purchased specialty drinks. They prepped all and gave them out and they forgot mine!!! I had to go up to them again and ask where my coffee was. This is the last time I walk in this Starbucks knowing that I have to go out of my way to purchase one else where.

Seriously this Starbucks is the ultimate best Starbucks I been to. The reason being is the friendly stuff that I see everyday. The stuff treat the customers as a friend and they always make you feel welcome. This Starbucks isn’t as big as some other Starbucks but that’s what makes it awesome about it because you get that nice, cozy feeling when you walk in. Andrew makes the most amazing drinks ever, always steaming the milk to perfection. My favorite Starbucks of all time!

Everyone is nice, and its clean(2stars) but I dread coming in there. Idk why, every time it takes me about 10 minutes to get my drink. Busy or slow always about 10 mins. The workers have conversations while making drinks, talking, without a care in the world, while I’m trying not to be late to work; it drives me insane. It’s the only Starbucks on my way to work, thats the reason I go to it.

Don’t order a carmel apple spice because they will probably be out of apple juice. I went to this location on a Friday and the following Monday, and they didn’t have apple juice.

I come here a lot but no where to sit for a few mins to cool off and drink my coffee and then get out many people take whole tables to themselves and their computers. Some where to sit would be nice in the air conditioning building.

Service was quick and the drinks were fine but I went out to the patio and they didn’t remember me from when I’d ordered my iced tea 40 minutes prior and questioned giving me a refill. Never had this happen at a San Diego location before. I spend waaaay too much money at Starbucks to have to deal with that. Next time I will go to a different location! Also, only one table inside seats more than 2 people.

They have a freaking old lady as a cashier that needs to learn how to use some manners she’s a f**king whore. I asked for 4 fraps I wanted separate purchases to earn stars to get my gold card she said no. On Sunday I went to the same Starbucks I ordered 2 fraps I asked for separate purchase a nice young lady did it for me without saying anything. Plus that the old bitch threw my cups in the trash and also made me ashamed by taking the next person’s order.

Smaller location, very quiet than average because it’s in a more secluded area. Friendly baristas. We had about a 2 minute waiting time for our drinks(:

I’ve been to every starbucks in east county. This is another good location. It was pretty busy when I walked in and they still got my iced coffee out in less than 2 mins. Pretty impressive. Plus the staff is friendly. Both girls up front said good morning, how are you? One even told me I look like George Clooney. jk she didn’t say that but still friendly. Drop in and grab a coffee.

This is definitely one of my favorite Starbucks, maybe just close behind Alpine! Great staff who make an honest effort to remember your name, order etc. They have great customer service skills and represent Starbucks well.

We just moved to the area and I am so happy that the closest Starbucks to us has the friendliest staffs! Everytime I go in, I always leave as a happy customer =) the staffs are very helpful when I have questions about a specific drink or need help with what to order! One time for my free birthday drink I didn’t know what to get and one staff made me this«cotton candy» drink which is vanilla bean with raspberry syrup, oh so yummy! I will continue to come back to this location!

O.k. as an ex-Starbuks employee I know about the«Third Place Concept».This is basically a place away from home and away from work, thus«the third place». I like this particular Starbucks in El Cajon. I can’t really say that the coffee is better since the coffee is the same everywhere. I am giving this particular location two thumbs up since it’s just friendlier than the rest. A great place to hang out while I am drinking my coffee.

I came by this location to pick up a Grande Mocha Light. When I arrived the place was rather busy. The girl at the register was rather busy talking it up with the customer, so one of the other employees had to come over and ask what I wanted. After he took my order, he mentioned it the girl at the register, but since she was so busy with the personal conversation with the disinterested customer in front of me, she did not here him. So I continued to stand there with my $ 20 bill in my hand as the girl continue ramble. I stood there, and I stood there some more. Finally, the disinterested customer in front of me, hinted that she had to get going, and she did, and given that she was already told what I ordered, I proceeded to hand her the $ 20, but she had no clue what it was for. So, I politely told her that the young man behind her had told her already, and she actually admitted she did not know because she was involved in a conversation. Then I politely told that, that was the point of me standing there with the $ 20 in my hand because I knew she had not payed attention to her co worker. At that point, the young man came behind her and told her my order again. I can tell she got a little perturbed with what I said, and she forced her self to be polite, but hey, I was just making an honest observation. On the brighter side, I finally got my coffee and it was great.

What’s so different about THISPARTICULARSTARBUCKS? Well, that’s what I’m about to tell you. This place is clean, has the most friendly & kind-hearted employees, makes yummy coffee & has a cozy, neighborhood feel to it, which I like. This review is loooooong overdue, but here goes. I was pretty desperate looking for coffee stirrers to help my sister with her bridge-building project for her class. I went to Michael’s, Smart & Finals, Target, Wal-Mart, & some grocery stores & could not, for the LIFE of me, find the right wooden coffee stirrers for her project. Frustrated & running out of time, I called this Starbucks to ask if I could have around 70 coffee stirrers. I had no idea what they would say to such an obscure request, but to my surprise, the manager got on the phone and told me just to come by & pick them up! She was simply kind-hearted & generous. I rushed out of the house & got in line at the Starbucks. I was given the coffee stirrers immediately & with a smile. I didn’t order anything but I figured they would probably appreciate straight-up tips more, so that’s what I ended up doing. This Starbucks’ service cannot be beat. Will be coming to this location whenever I can from now on!!! What life savers! :)
