My first and last time I will ever come here. The owner is such a cheat! I picked out two beautiful picture frames and as a mom trying not to spend so much I always look at the price. One was at $ 2.49 the other was like $ 1 something i thought ahh not bad. she said she would hold them in the front so i said sure i don’t want to be carrying them around. My son started to get fussy and she kept trying to tell my son«in a nice fake way» stop crying why are you crying making both me and my son uncomfortable i felt like she was trying to discipline him. She kept trying to hurry me following me around saying. little things here and there to my son about his behavior. I picked him up and he calmed down that’s when i decided to stop looking around and go pay. Well she ended up jacking up the price! I thought wow well maybe it was the tax.(my son really wanted to leave then so I didn’t even stop to question the price) And when i looked at the receipt on my way home it said each picture frame was $ 5! I was so pissed. I took out the frames and of course she made sure to rip off the sticker on the corners of the frames where it use to be! Stop ripping off your customers and get over your nasty attitude over children! Most mom don’t have a choice whether they can or can’t leave their kids home or. with someone else

Came here yesterday to check it out and the store has a lot of great almost new/new/slightly used items for a quarter of the price. I like the fact that she carries all sizes. Most stores only carry few small items so I was surprised to find a lot of S/XS in her boutique. I bought a Banana Rep slacks/pants for $ 10. I will never find it anywhere. Crissy is warm, welcoming and helpful. I definitely recommend for ladies looking to get the most for their bucks. Im hooked and will be coming here first before I go shopping at retail stores.

I was asked to leave because I was accompanied by my service dog. Doing so is against federal ADA law. Because she also requested to see my dog’s service/medical ID, which is also against federal law, it demonstrated the owner is undereducated in The Americans with Disabilities Act and the rights disabled parties and professional dog handlers have when taking service dogs and service dogs in training into public areas. It is the responsibility of the business owner to be aware of the rights of her customers and be knowledgable of how to act when certain situations occur. As a potential customer in her shop, I felt extremely embarrassed to be treated as such and left immediately with no intention of returning. I only wish the next time someone walks in with a service animal, they will receive better treatment.

Been dying to go here and finally had a chance today. Lady working was a but pushy and I had my eye in a dress for my daughter but when I was told, like I was a 2 year old, to be careful with my drink I was carrying, I decided I really didn’t need the dress that bad. She’s a fake kinda nice. Then when we left to wait outside for our kids to finish dance next door, we were rudely asked not to lean against her wall and only my friends hand was touching the wall. I don’t believe that would have been the case had we made a purchase. Really too bad, she has some great items in her store but made us very uncomfortable right away.

This place is super cool. Great stuff and great deals. The owner is fun and very down to earth. The prices are unbelievable. I wish they had stores like this for men.

I looove this place. Every now and then when Im in the area I drop in and have a good convo or two with the owner. The garments and items are fairly priced if you want to look good on a budget. The store is cute, clean and neat and you never run into cluttery racks. I would give this store a full 5 stars except for I think the owner should work on being a little bit more kid friendly. I dont know if she’s over protective of the store or her merchandise being damaged by children not being well supervised by their mother’s or if she’s just paranoid of a child getting hurt in her store. Either way it’s unfortunate because most mothers have to bring their children with them when they go shopping. Needless to say, I have the benefit of shopping while the kiddies are at school. But overall… good place to go for nice, fashionable clothes for little money… just don’t bring your kids.

I am a new customer of this store, and absolutely LOVEIT!!! I’ve had my eye on it for a while and finely one day I came in(which was Valentine’s) found the cutest sequence pink top in the window and was mesmerized. Wanted to find something special to wear out that night. My husband mouth dropped by how pretty I looked in my top and awesome white pants that I put together for under $ 20 dollars. I also purchased a cool beachy scarf, moon sterling silver ring, Victoria secret robe, and a sexy top all for $ 77. Which I was blown away and was so happy with my purchase. I am so happy I found this place!

I’ve shopped at Sentimental Values since Gene was the owner(22 years ago) and always found something I couldn’t live without. At that time, I was a stay at home mom and brought my first son with me. He would play in the back with the toys while I shopped. Boy, how things change! It’s still a great place to find a good deal, just DON’T bring your kids. I think the latest owner is allergic. After being watched like a hawk, being«warned» about this or that and having to speak up for my youngest son, who is 3 and had done nothing wrong, I had to walk out. Too bad. I really liked shopping there. Maybe she was just having a bad day.

I’ve been visiting this store for years. I love the selection, very good quality, good selection of designer labels, excellent pricing. I take all out-of-town visitors there, too. Love this store.

This is a clean, very fairly priced re-sale and new items clothing shop. None of the prices are outrageous, lots of new sunglasses, purses, and jewels that won’t break the bank. I nabbed some gently used items for some upcoming in-person job interviews as I’m on a diet, a budget diet! During the budget diet I’ve scoured a lot of thrift and re-sale consignment shops and this one was the Jewel of the Nile if you’re up to driving out to El Cajon(this is far from mi casa). Now from my finds in various stores, I will be decked out in a proper suit, shoes, and appropriate handbag for the occasion. Thank goodness for these stores during tough times like these. This one will have to go in the THRIFTYMADNESS list!
