I have always loved the shredded beef burrito, sometimes however they need to drain the meat better, half way through it is a soggy mess. Love the hot sauce. My new favorite treat is the potato rolled tacos, yum!!!
Whenever my sister is in town she insists on coming here for the shredded chicken burrito

Service was good. Food not so much. Carna sada fries tasted rubbery and the chicken enchilada were just as bad. Nice people but def won’t be going back.

It’s ok.
Price is not worth the size.
Although. .it was tasty.
Two soft tocos… beef.chk.
Ckn…not so much
Beef was pretty good.
But at 350?
A total of 7??? Out the door was a bit high.
Considering size and quality.
Three stars.
BUT…VERY FRIENDLY STAFF AND PRETTY FAST… AND CLEAN

This place is a nice little east county hidden gem. I tried a few different kinds of their tiny tacos — the asada was ok, not overly memorable, but man the al pastor was just fantastic. I definitely plan on returning several more times for it alone.

Their rolled tacos actually have meat them and they are cooked to perfection.
We’ve been eating here for years and will continue.

My husband really likes this place. Me, not so much. Nothing outstanding as far as I am concerned. He really likes the carnitas. I like mine a little crispy. These were moist. All the other food tastes like every other Mexican fast food. Once was enough for me. Too many other places to try.

So yummy! We have been coming here since we found Rita’s on Unilocal and have not been disappointed. They are always happy and cheerful when you come in, and their food is fresh and delicious. If you love spicy, I recommend trying their habanero salsa. Super hot but great! We have also had them cater our housewarming party and our guests were happy!

I’ve been going to this place since I was 5 years old. I went to the old location and discovered that they moved to 2nd street. Very good food and always good service.
The new spot now isn’t the best location for marketing. I would hate to see this place close due to a poor location !!!

I have been going to Rita’s for the last 20 years. Their food is always great, well made and is some of the best tasting Mexican food I have eaten. They have a lite menu, which is very large and tastes as good as the regular stuff. I will continue to eat here as long as they stay in business and have no reason to think they will change, since the food has been this good for all 20 years.

Rita’s is our go to place for tasty Mexican food.
Tucked away in the back of a little shopping plaza, Rita’s is still easy to get to and ample parking is available.

I’ve been going to Rita’s for years and am very glad they moved closer to where I live. I love their little rolled tacos and just about everything else I’ve had. My wife ordered their fish tacos and wasn’t impressed, so if that’s your calling, you’re on your own. I still give them 5 stars because everything they serve in my wheelhouse has been superb, which is just about everything else other than fish.

Ritas is my go to taco shop in east county! The enchilada sauce rivals Fidel’s in Solana beach! Their rolled tacos melt in your mouth and their tiny carne asada tacos are to die for!

My favorite Mexican fast food! My favorite is the chicken & cheese burrito. It is the freshest, juiciest ever! I have not ordered anything that I did not think was EXCEPTIONAL! The staff is always very friendly. Very good value.

Food was okay. Carne asada fries were over cooked. Skimped on cheese in burritos. Took longer than expected to get our to go order, evwn though no one else was in the restauran. They are priced well, somewhat clean and friendly. Salsa very fresh and meat tasted great. They have a healthy menu and many options and substitutions. Menu was clear and easy to understand. Maybe I just hit them at an off day.
